@@poweredman Using similar teams isn't the same as using the same team. What are the chances of an entirely different player comes up with the same strategy as the guy whose team got leaked and caused a massive panic? Wolfe even said it, Bradey Smith didn't have experience with the team and had the wrong version. They just took the team that seemed the strongest without thinking about the downsides of that version.
"Nobody cares about him" is an incredibly ironic statement considering that the guy "nobody cares about" caused the entire Pokemon competitive scene to shift and made everybody rethink their teams just because of the team he built. The same guy who has other competitive players build teams, and the same guy that has the biggest onlline presence in the vgc scene.
Wanting a Patreon is a perfectly normal thing to do, he never said you have to subscribe to the Patreon, it's a totally optional thing to support him. @@poweredman it wasn't a similar team, it was a 1:1 copy, and it was by all definitions lame, proof being that it lost because the player didn't understand how to use it well because they didn't come up with it. In a game like competitive Pokémon, both singles and doubles, copying a team build instead of coming up with them yourself is by all means a loser move.
Now if you're the type of player who sticks to copying premade teams and builds and felt targeted because you can't be assed to spare braincells to make a team for yourself, that's another story.

@@billdewall6152 No, he shouldn't. I love Wolfe's content and respect that he is always able to create top team on his own, but disrespecting others who don't do that is ridiculous. Not everyone's main job is Pokemon to be able to spend hours building a team, and also not everyone has 10 years worth of experience playing the game. Everyone has to start somewhere, and that somewhere is seeing a good team, understanding it, re-creating it to his comfort and piloting it to good result. This is what 90%-95% of the community do. The term "stealing" is also very misguided. It's not like Brady hacked Wolfe's account or did some shady stuff to extract private information. The 6 pokemons can be already seen on showdown, and if you played or have friends played against the team 3-4 times, you should know all the moves (and to be honest, the pokemons are pretty gimmicky, so you can guess most of their moves anyway). The EVs spread is created by Brady independently, which if you are a long time viewer of Wolfe, you should know that EVs can radically change the way the team is played. This team is missing a timer stall strat in order to be fully Wolfe compatible.

This video is a work of art. What a story, and what a high quality way to tell it. I've been watching wolfe videos for quite a while now, and played a bit of pokemon when I started but mostly do Magic the gathering now. Everyone from every gaming community should look to this video for a 10/10 tournament report and learn from it. Excellent job wolfe

Love the well-deserved shade thrown at Brady Smith. What a snake, and really crazy as to how intense things get in the scene. Good luck for Worlds, Wolfe!

I gotta say, Wolfe is a better man than me. Going to such extreme measures to find out someone’s team? That’s just low and disgusting but seeing him take it in stride is so impressive.
On another note, whoever is in charge of the tournaments really needs to step up because the fact that stuff are things is so insane.

Uhh, well this is a tournament organized by the tpci branch of the pokemon company, and in my opinion they organize the tournaments really well. Scouting is not an issue of pokemon or tpci, but rather for competitions in general, and to be honest tpci can't do much about it.
