As an FYI, perks are random on armor. No since in mentioning the perks because they will be different for everyone. In fact, you might want to mention that, and has been stated before, perks in chests are generated when you enter the instance. It's suggested to change difficulty to very hard before you enter, then you can turn down to hard or normal or even easy. Chests for mannequins are generated when you open the container or loot them (not sure which). If you save before hand, you can reload until you get what you want. This is particularly useful for the Mantis set early game.
soooo all perks on items and guns etc are random jus so u no.. none of ur perks on clothing or guns will be repeatable every time its like all the amazing planets to build an outpost on lol like none of my planets have the same resources on them or if they do they aint in exactly same place

You can start the questline quite early but I highly recommend getting a decent ship (I did it with the Razorleaf from the Mantis quest) and some good weapons as well as enough medipacks, otherwise the very last quest of it will be a pain in the ass😅
For armor on mannequins, you can save before looting them and just reload to get better rolls on traits. This doesn't work on anything that comes from containers.

Fun fact depending on your level, the micro gun from UC actually turns into legendary and has some wild perks on it making it a pretty op gun overall. “Did it at 79, and it was Leggo “
Does this also apply for the money at the end of the questline? For becoming a class 1 citizen? Because i just finished the questline and recieved very little credits. lvl 16 btw
If anyone gets a ship or has the money for a better ship they can’t pilot you can redo the simulator on New Atlantis as many times as you want even if you already cleared the questline. Helps with “destroy X amount of ships” to level pilot skill.
Ill give you a tip. Dont bother picking up junk to sell and make an outpost asap for storage. You'll fill up space on resources so quick its not even funny.
Fun fact, there’s actually two ways to start the deep cover quest line, as stated in the video you can do it through the vanguard but also if your ship gets scanned with illegal cargo you’ll be arrested, interrogated and basically forced to go undercover!
7:50 There's a 3rd Legendary weapon to do with this questline. On the UC-SY90 Space station during "The Best There Is" there is a legendary microgun sitting around in a weapon case.
Omg SICK. I didn't know the ship had THAT cargo space! I just had to do a certain "Challenge" on one of the later missions. Can't remember exactly where I am but I'm very close to finishing.
I chose the Parents perk and, over time, they give free stuff. I got a free ship that way that is really nice. And I even got grandma's old space suit with legendary stats.
Everyone fails to mention the very powerful "Ambassador & Elegance" pistols from the Star Ranger quest line, or the "Mutineer" that's always slotted in my favorites for use.
For the StarEagle ship you're going to need about half a day for the quest line. Especially if you're not trying to speed run and you want to enjoy the game. I just finished the quest line and got the ship and wish I knew that ahead of time.

I beat tier 6 of the flight sim. I just used the derelict space station to beat the last 2 tiers. fly into the middle of it and keep going away from the console (as this makes you invincible) and they will just all crash into the space station, and explode. Worth noting you must drop your difficulty to very easy, otherwise they'll never do enough damage to blow themselves up. The mission is actually designed to be beat this way, and they even tell you to think outside of the box and use all options available (this includes hacking the flight sim to get more shields and stuff(

In New Atlantis you can buy business suits at the fancy store that buff Persuasion like that quest reward but only 5%. There are multiple shops that sell clothes and weapons and resources so look around.
As a side note for the mercury tower penthouse there’s a bug that can occur that completely deletes everything you place down inside of it. I spent a couple hours and a huge amount of resources completely decking it out just to come back and find it completely empty as if I’d just got it.

Just letting you guys know that the keelhauler runs out of ammo extremely fast and the ammo is supper rare, so either sell it, barely use it, keep it in storage or give it to your companions with one bullet in because as long as they have one bullet they have endless ammo. You forgot to mention the deadeye fre wepaon that comes at the start of the freestanding mission, it's really nice but I imagine the other one over passes it.
Please... don't use your boost pack to jump to your ship. Just open your scanner, hover the ship icon that pops up and click interact (E on PC) and you'll fast travel to it.
Bro didnt even know there was a Ryujin kiosk in New Atlantis. I thought the only ones available were in Neon. That kinda adds a cool element to that faction quest. You can apply across the universe
the UC stuff looks amazing, best believe once Im done on my Gunslinger build, im making a UC or Bounty Hunter playthrough thats gonna be grabbing those.
The Mantis quest also gives you a free ship and legendary armour at the end. Start it by reading the Secret base note that you'll pick up from pirates.
@@StrangeChickandPuppo There's one random hostile encounter from whom I've taken his shirt twice now🤣😁 I've slightly modified the Razorleaf since getting it. I gave it a B class Reactor, upgraded the weapons a bit, gave it a bulkier shield, and more than doubled its cargo hold. But I kept the overall design language for the sake of being lore friendly. The ship is obviously known. And while I know that ship ID has a unique flag that marks it as the Mantis, I still like keeping it true. I think Bethesda should have flagged the armor instead of the ship. Or at least both the armor AND the ship.
I just recently started playing Starfield and I’m actually on the ship quest. I could have finished it but I was clearing out bounties. Nice to know there is a good payout. I was wonder if I would get ship parts or weapons at the end as a reward but now that I know it’s a ship, I will finish it up.
Wouldn’t really call a reward for a long questline free. By the time you finish the questline you’ll likely have enough resources to buy something as good if not better. The free skill point is pretty great though since that’s like a free level.
If you want to fly class C ships and rank up piloting quick just go join Vanguard and use their sim. I maxed out my pilot perk in like 5 minutes. Bank a few points and go rank it up.
@@preyscallingyes and no, those gears are level depends, and level do effects their base values, as far as i know higher level weapons has much higher base damage which even with full modding skills a lower level weapon would never able to cover. for instance at lv60 the lawgiver already starts at over 340 base damage without any mods and a fully moded legendary lawgiver which dropped at around lv20 might be about 200
@@blakeprescott6697 sadly no, just as an example, the mantis set, which weights about 16 for a single armor, so i thinks its kind of heavy armor, i got it at around lv15, and i recently got an armor piece dropped from a lv65 elite, thats a normal space suit with about 8.5 weight, and it has even heigher defensive values than the mantis i currently wearing. (well i didnt switch to it since my mantis have really good perks on it) so if you want to use a specific gear which is either reward from mission or picked up from ground, and want to stick to it for the whole gameplay, it would be better if you visit that place/finish that quest later than earlier for higher base stats.
I love how I invested almost 20 hours in the Ranger questline but ended up not getting the Star Eagle thanks to a bug that seems to have been known since release. And no, loading a savegame from several hours ago didn't help. Well done, Bethesda. 👏
I really like ryujin quest. Made me feel like a character in Phillip C K Dick novel. I'm a cyber runner jittery on tetrabrew and synthpop on morally dubious mission for evil mega Corp.
All the armour has lower level buffs and higher ones that unlock when it has advanced in the name. It's better to level up, trying to avoid thease suits until you start getting other armours that are coming up as advanced. then you can go back to that story and do that mission(but only if you have not done it at the lower level), to get the higher level suit. That way you get lots of top-level suit's.
Do we have a list of leveled loot anywhere? The Wiki (naturally) doesn't seem to contain item ID info yet for leveled varieties, unless I'm just unable to find it
Maaan I wish they didnt allow multiple factions like in Skyrim. I mean you can be both UC Vanguard and Freestar Ranger. That to me is immersion breaking. Also the trait Kid Stuff is located in UC space. So it makes no sense to pick Freestar Settler. 😢
I know were not allowed to but I am still having a lot of fun with Starfield. I am level 202 now, I am waiting to start new game plus for the big update which will hopefully brink a lot of QOL fixes.
They sure didn't make it easy to get that A Class ship. That questline where you have to run up stairs fighting hordes and hordss of robots and wall mounted turrets is just out of this world. How in the hell did you make it up them steps lol
If you can fly to the top there is a computer that will disable the turrets or you can set them to fight for you. Jumppacked to the top, did whatever with the mantis, then the computer was right behind her
Wow! Thank you so much for these! And thank you for not spoiling stuff, and just letting us know what we get from them! Will have to check these out, since storage space feels like a premium here, and not having to worry about that, but also getting really good gear in the process? I'm in!
Awesome video mate. Thank you for the information. It was definitely needed. I've been playing since the early access but I haven't made it far due to restarting and being an over completionist haha. At least focusing on doing a dedicated quest line like these I won't get stuck in my same old loop of side quests/repeatable quests and every... Single... Left slipper because who needs pirates when you have a psycho stealing all the left slippers hahaha
the section where you talk about the microgun, there is actually a legendary version just as you first enter londinium, after you pass the barriers there is a soldier on the left at a makeshift firing range, and the legendary version is in a crate next to him ❤
That Akila ship is gonna be the closest to the SSV Normandy I’m gonna get without spending a ton of credits failing to build my own Looks like this one will be named SR2 cause my current ship is the SR1 Normandy
Can I ask how long does the UC quest line usually take to complete. I’m having such a great time with starfeild and I love learning new things everyday. I had zero hopes for this game because Todd burned me so many times lol I’m so glad he actually did it.
UC quest line is great, especially if your a fan of aliens/starship troopers. Quest line took me 4-8 hrs on average without the deep cover part, the deep cover quest line was probably another 6-8 hrs due to how many missions it requires
*Important* Do this before you do any quests in Neon! if you complete some stuff there before going for the Star Eagle the guy you need to speak to will become inactive and you will be unable to continue this quest chain. I can not get the Star Eagle, do not suffer my fate!

Yeah at 7:49 the much simpler way to unlock that quest chain is to go to jail or become under arrest in any UC system, itll auto start it.
Thanks for all the info, in a game with an overwhelming amount of content videos like this are helpful
If you want to fly class C ships and rank up piloting quick just go join Vanguard and use their sim. I maxed out my pilot perk in like 5 minutes. Bank a few points and go rank it up.
Thanks for the tips. Helpful. I am currently dont know what to do after reach Constellation Lodge 😂
reminder: if you get them early, they will lose effectiveness on high level gameplay, as it will spawn refined and advanced versions
But by then you can already mod the armours yourself
@@preyscallingyes and no, those gears are level depends, and level do effects their base values, as far as i know higher level weapons has much higher base damage which even with full modding skills a lower level weapon would never able to cover. for instance at lv60 the lawgiver already starts at over 340 base damage without any mods and a fully moded legendary lawgiver which dropped at around lv20 might be about 200
@@tsukuyomu2313 Oh, I thought you could upgrade the base damage
Is there no options to upgrade armor to be effective at your current level?
@@blakeprescott6697 sadly no, just as an example, the mantis set, which weights about 16 for a single armor, so i thinks its kind of heavy armor, i got it at around lv15, and i recently got an armor piece dropped from a lv65 elite, thats a normal space suit with about 8.5 weight, and it has even heigher defensive values than the mantis i currently wearing. (well i didnt switch to it since my mantis have really good perks on it)
so if you want to use a specific gear which is either reward from mission or picked up from ground, and want to stick to it for the whole gameplay, it would be better if you visit that place/finish that quest later than earlier for higher base stats.
Jet packing off the balcony made me laugh. Have a comment for the algorithm. Seeing your ship from the balcony was cool too.
I'm a cyber runner jittery on tetrabrew and synthpop on morally dubious mission for evil mega Corp.
that helmet is sick af
Completeing the Vanguard questline also gives you access to some exclusive Vanguard ship parts.
I sadly can't get starfield until friday and I'm already in love with this game
Liked that video short sweet down to the point thank you
All the armour has lower level buffs and higher ones that unlock when it has advanced in the name. It's better to level up, trying to avoid thease suits until you start getting other armours that are coming up as advanced. then you can go back to that story and do that mission(but only if you have not done it at the lower level), to get the higher level suit. That way you get lots of top-level suit's.
What level do you start getting advanced armor spawns?
Do we have a list of leveled loot anywhere? The Wiki (naturally) doesn't seem to contain item ID info yet for leveled varieties, unless I'm just unable to find it
@@Bio1203 i started getting it at level 40+
i saw a big increase between 10 - 15 ish
Can you unique armor have prefixes though. I haven't seen advanced, calibrated or refinded on any unique items and I'm level 60
If you have it on very hard diff you have a chance of getting a gold mini gun from the guy next to the Gear set
Jumppacked to the top, did whatever with the mantis, then the computer was right behind her
Bro I need to run and have medpacks
Don't forget the RazorLeaf from the Mantis Quest line.
So much I still need to do in this game. I just got the first super power. I haven’t even had time for ships and outposts. 30 hours in.
I was actually amazed when I found my first power, also around the 30 hour mark. I had no idea they were even a thing!
Freestar also gives you the best early pistol, the deadeye.
First thing I did with the freestar ship was to install vanguard beams.
They melt anything.
This game has been awesome I’ve already logged over 48 hours and counting
the section where you talk about the microgun, there is actually a legendary version just as you first enter londinium, after you pass the barriers there is a soldier on the left at a makeshift firing range, and the legendary version is in a crate next to him ❤
How do you get to Londinium ?
Which star system is that located in
@@vladandrei1996 follow the UC faction quest
That Akila ship is gonna be the closest to the SSV Normandy I’m gonna get without spending a ton of credits failing to build my own
Looks like this one will be named SR2 cause my current ship is the SR1 Normandy
The ryujin one i totally just stumbled on, though, to be fair, a few short quests in, i jad a pretty solid hunch. Lol
Can I ask how long does the UC quest line usually take to complete.
I’m having such a great time with starfeild and I love learning new things everyday. I had zero hopes for this game because Todd burned me so many times lol I’m so glad he actually did it.
Same. Literally looking at the clock to get off work and play. MW2 is taking a seat until they fix that nonsense.
UC quest line is great, especially if your a fan of aliens/starship troopers.
Quest line took me 4-8 hrs on average without the deep cover part, the deep cover quest line was probably another 6-8 hrs due to how many missions it requires
@@hitman_zulu looking forward to it and the at armor set. I’m working on freestar ranger line now I want that star eagle ship it’s beast mode.
@@Nedk82for me with the ship. I've been doing it like 2hrs so far, I keep thinking... Is this the wrong stuff-but I know its making me work
What is the armor set he’s wearing at the beginning of the video?!
You make the best tips and tricks videos for starfield! Thank you.
thanks for watching!
Great as always
save and reload before taking an armor ( not all but enough )
the perks are random
thought you should know before nming the perks we ger
That seems better than the dreem home trait and thx for showing me this
*Man* the Xenodefense gear looks sick
*Important* Do this before you do any quests in Neon! if you complete some stuff there before going for the Star Eagle the guy you need to speak to will become inactive and you will be unable to continue this quest chain. I can not get the Star Eagle, do not suffer my fate!
The best vid I've seen on Starfield unlocks yet!! 🔓🎇🚀👍
Ahhhh I missed the unique minigun from the UC questline and now contemplating if I find a previous save to get it :(
There's a better version for sale at the UC distribution center in New Atlantis
@@robertoramirez7709 Thank you! I'll check it out when I'm next on :)
Happy days, love the video. Not just some guys saying loads of bull or look at what I've done.
I like the Star Eagle better than that Mantis one.
Agreed but it is still cool to take the Mantis out I love the reactions from other ships. But it does make it hard to level piloting as they all flee.
This is clutch, thank you
Thanks for the great video
Between Jor and Arekkz my character is absolutely stacked! Two of the best channels for tips on recent games.
You don't play games yourself?
Just literally watch videos and go and get gear? 😂
@@eillswim I do both! I assume since you’re commenting here, that you use some of these tips yourself so I don’t really get your question.
@@TeddyLasso That strange person has left other extremely dumb comments on the channel. Possible mental illness, I’d ignore it if I were you. Probably broke & doesn’t even have the game. It said it was disappointed at the game, which is a massive sign it’s never even played it.
‘It’ instead of ‘he’ because it behaves like a bot
@@TeddyLasso Just another dumb NPC, ignore it trying to flex bigPP on you.
@@SurgeEquityResearch lol, that checks out. Cheers buddy!

My frighter right now has 28k+ worth of cargo space. I live in the ship. I nevrr want for anything. I also just finished going to each of fhe 120 sustems which was time consuming. Hope yall are enjoying the game.
