@@EpixBurninator Yeah i tried this in New Atlantis trade authority. You just have to make sure you dont exit the shop or you won't be able to buy back your stuff.
You can keep your stolen items easily. You need to launder them through the Trade Authority by selling them to them and then buying them back from the Buy Back section of the vendor. It removes the "stolen" tag from the item and costs zero credits.
If you steal an item, such as the microgun, just take it to Zoe at the trade authority. Sell it to her, then buy it but for the same price and it removed the stolen tag.

Another pro tip (especially for heavy weapon mains): In New Atlantis, commercial district, UC Distribution Centre, there is a woman who is selling everything from weapons to misc - and she is selling an armour piercing mini gun (short gun) and breaks though even the strongest armour. What makes this also amazing is the fact it uses 7.77 which is the same the Grendel uses and it’s relatively cheap compared to other ammo. A 500 stack of it can range to about 5,000 credits which is not a lot if you do missions or go to the board. The gun costs 36,000 credits and is worth it so much.

But if you read all the information regarding the "Mantis" at the base, one thing that is made very clear is that the ship needs upgrading. That is where you come in because the previous Mantis didn't get around to it. Go back to a major city and upgrade the damn thing. Engines are easy. Reactor is easy. Just go into the option to upgrade the ship and select the best option you can use for a Class A ship. The shield generator can also be updated. All three with no fuss or ship redesign. The ship also comes with a shielded cargo hold. And this is the one area it lacks. I'd suggest sticking with shielded cargo holds which I believe you can get in the wolf system referenced in the video. Can you update the weapon systems? I found an amazing rifle the first day I played the game. It's a VSS Russian sniper with intigrated suppressor barrel, in this game it's called "old earth hunting rifle" but this is a unique one called Advanced Old Earth Hunting Rifle. It's kind of wierd because it doesn't have colored text, it appears to be a common gun not technically a unique but for some reason this one does over 100 damage when every other one of these I've found only does around 30 damage, it's also the only one that has the word "Advanced" in it's name. It has no mods attached so you can actually make it way more powerful with customization. You can get it literally as soon as you get to New Atlantis, go to the Mast district then take the elevator down to The Well and there is a gun store call UC Surplus if you look on the shelfs he has it on the display shelf to the right of his desk, just open the chest that's on his desk to use it to block his line of sight and crouch and steal the gun really quick, just make sure to save first incase you fuck it up. He also has some other good guns you can steal like the MiniGun and some silenced pistols. This dude was super easy to steal from I didn't even have the stealth or theft perks. This gun is crazy good if you like to snipe, only thing is the ammo is hard to find but the lady in the shop across the alley I think it's called the Trade Authority or something like that, you can buy the ammo there and they have a couch right by the vender lady just sit and wait 24 hours and it will refresh her ammo supply so you can buy a bunch of it. She also has some good guns for sale.
Advanced is the quality of the gun. Theres basic (no label), calibrated, refined, advanced, and superior (i think this one is just armor). So the sniper does more damage than most other things because its of a much higher quality. Its a good find but like you said ammo can be difficult to come by for those less common calibers.
You can remove the stolen flag from guns and armor by modifying them at a workbench. For all items you can also sell them to the Trade Authority and then buy them back.
@@werejustgaming Why wasting resources? You only want to remove the stolen flag on stuff you actually want to use and modding your gear you want to use is hardly a waste of resources.
Items tend to scale so getting all of the good things early locks you out of getting them later with better stats. The mark 1 armor being one such example.
A tip if you want to get rid of the stealing symbol and stop stolen items from being taken when you're arrested, you can go to a trade authority, sell the stolen item then buy it back, it gets rid of the stolen tag. I did this at the trade authority on mars not sure if it works at all of them
After you sell to the trade authority you can buy back your weapons etc back for the same price. This makes them clean and no longer stolen. Just don’t back out before buying your items back
Just coming back to this video to say that the Lodge/Mark I space suit glitch still 100% works! It's awesome for early game. I got the game and a Series X for Christmas, so I've been playing the crap out of it, lol. Just got the note for the Mantis quest, so I'm about to have an OP ship and suit. I hope I can find the Bounty Hunter suit in the Lair too, I've heard it's in there somewhere.
Yes, for same amount AS LONG AS YOU DONT EXIT THE ORIGINAL INTERACTION. If you exit out of the sale dialogue then it will be for an uncharged amount. Just sell, the switch to the “vendor buy” and select “buy back.”
If you go to the Valo System, Planet Polvo, City Hopetown, in the Best Defense Gun Store, you can use the trashcan bin to sweep 2 Magshear weapons from the shelf, and steal them. After that you can sell and rebuy them from a Trade Authority vendor to keep them.
Today I just tried the Manequin suit thingy.... It worked, I went into first person mode got real close to the door slowed down my mouse and aim for the door crack, took me like 10 minutes lol. thanks alot
A little thing I learned yesterday: The Dream Home trait helps a lot when it comes to leveling up Sneak in this game. I got to that planet with only Rank 1 of the skill, and I left it a couple hours later with Rank 4. Equipped with an advanced urban eagle, I snuck around and one-shotted the creatures on that planet, from the dinosaurian vectorbacks to the ram-like vuvuzebalisks. Quick tip though: Be prepared to kill herds of the latter creature, because killing one of them triggers the whole herd to attack you.
Sell your stolen items to any Trade Authority vendor and immediately buy it back in the “buy back” tab. It will remove the stolen item tag and let you keep it permanently AT NO COST. As long as you don’t have contraband stolen items won’t trigger on a scan.

@@samaeldrakul4191 for instanced areas, you can simply switch the difficulty. Stop before you zoning, switch difficulty to very hard, and then after using in switch the difficulty back to whatever you choose. The loot is set when you zone in with the difficulty set to very hard, changing the difficulty after use zone in, does not affect the loot as it’s already been auto generated.
It only turns blue after you start putting points into the skill. It also allows auto and more of them at higher levels. Just takes paying attention alittle to understand that
A NICE TIP! if you work for Crimson Fleet, go into the bar in their outpost and see Bog, the bartender. Purchase a ton of his specialty drink called, "BOG'S GROG." This gives you +20 Carry Capacity for 10m! And 30% O2 Recovery for 10 minutes. This has been an awesome little feature for certain situations for me. If you jump to lv60+ planets set difficultly very hard before landing, do the same before entering the abandoned buildings, then change difficulty to your desire find high lv elite enemy save game just before killing him changing the difficultly to very hard, kill him reload the game over and over until you get the best legendary you want easy way to get end game weapons right from the start. Rinse and repeat with other elites until you get everything you want. This all so gives you a tone of xp and credits.
I'm assuming you mean save when their health is almost gone, since fighting at full health on very hard would probly be inadvisable. but can you save mid-combat?
If you have a bounty and are being attacked in space, you can hail one of the enemy ships and pay the bounty that way. They’ll just leave you alone afterwards
If you want to be able to pilot up to Class C ships tho, you’ll need to destroy a few ships (around 30-40ish total) while upgrading piloting as you go.
One thing that I haven't seen talked about a lot is that if you rest for 2 hours or more, you get the Falloutlike "Well Rested" perk, giving you 10% bonus experience for a period of time.
If you set the difficulty to the highest before you land on a planet with wildlife, and then switch it to the easiest after you landed, you can make heaps of XP by killing animals. They will have loaded in with a much higher level than you but are easy to kill after you set the difficulty down to very easy. Will of course cost you some ammo.
Something I noticed trash cans can help you steal things. Just sweep items to a secluded spot & find a vendor that will wipe your stolen goods, DO NOT CLOSE the window or lose your stuff. Basically it will be the same price as they give.
There’s a bunch of master locks on the lock planet next that the key is orbiting during the mission inside the watchtower inside the cave there’s like 3 master locks and way more throughout the cave
Thanks. I had to restart a new save file after I completed Unity (IYKYK) and discovered that I earned no achievements for anything in the game for some reason. Stealing that armor was a great way to start my new save
Great Vid! One thing I’d add though is the Trade Authority has a Buy Back feature that takes off the stolen quality of your loot. It’s a great way to keep your I’ll gotten goods! 😉
That lockpicking glitch also works for the vertical glass case with weapons inside it. The muzzle of the gun will stick out of the glass and you can get it without lock picking 🤙🏾🤙🏾@JorRaptor
For the Armor at The Lodge all you need to do is align your cursor with the small gap on the glass between the door & crouch . It’s glitched & will allow you to press the mannequin & take the armor out without the lock skill. A lot of loot in locked glass cases throughout the game is glitched, you can actually take it out especially some of the weapons. I got The mannequin glitch from the channel “The Spiffing Brit. He basically breaks these games every time.
You can launder stolen goods. Steal your stuff, sell it to the vendor at Shepherd's General Store in Akila City (nice, extra $$$), then use the puddle glitch to take it all back. 😎 I haven't tried this yet, but in theory it should work. The only issue might be if the vendor won't buy an item that's labeled stolen. 🤷🏻♂️
You can actually just clean your stolen items by selling them to a vendor then buying them back without exiting the menu so you can buy them back at the same price. 👍

Then as you bought back the weapons, the red stealing/theft icon is removed from the stolen weapons and they are now legitimately yours. Have fun!
I feel like the stealing the armor behind the glass trick will ruin so many players first experiences. I saw this video just preparing for my first playthru and got to play it tonight on GP (in Florida so 7pm CST US time for me) and I came across the armor and it did work but it was an easy NOPE! I want to experience it without starting off with a god code on. I guess if you are role playing a thief tank who starts their journey off OP then go ahead but I feel it will give most players a less than ideal experience that they wouldn’t know until they played it again without doing it.

You can remove the stolen flag from guns and armor by modifying them at a workbench. For all items you can also sell them to the Trade Authority and then buy them back.
Why waste the resources when there are vendors that will buy it anyways
@@werejustgaming Why wasting resources? You only want to remove the stolen flag on stuff you actually want to use and modding your gear you want to use is hardly a waste of resources.
@@crazy-tommy true true. It's not a waste if you are using it
Items tend to scale so getting all of the good things early locks you out of getting them later with better stats. The mark 1 armor being one such example.
A tip if you want to get rid of the stealing symbol and stop stolen items from being taken when you're arrested, you can go to a trade authority, sell the stolen item then buy it back, it gets rid of the stolen tag. I did this at the trade authority on mars not sure if it works at all of them
Can confirm it works at all of them. I do this to remove stolen status from all my ammo
Where is the trade authority?
Contraband laundering 😂
After you sell to the trade authority you can buy back your weapons etc back for the same price. This makes them clean and no longer stolen. Just don’t back out before buying your items back
Just coming back to this video to say that the Lodge/Mark I space suit glitch still 100% works! It's awesome for early game.
I got the game and a Series X for Christmas, so I've been playing the crap out of it, lol. Just got the note for the Mantis quest, so I'm about to have an OP ship and suit. I hope I can find the Bounty Hunter suit in the Lair too, I've heard it's in there somewhere.
Starfield nailed lock picking. It's a skill that's acactual worth getting. Unlike fallout 4
A month later, the suit glitch still works! I happened to come across this vid while my character was in the lodge tonight. Thanks for the tips!
Can you tell me how
@@DBZ_AnimeWORLD you gotta hover over it juuuuuust right. the video shows you at 1:20 .... what exactly are you asking
You can clear the stolen status on items by selling them to a vendor and then buying them back
Is it for the same amount of money?
@@enydreaddy6622yup. Buyback
Does it also work when you rob the vendor and then try to sell their stolen things back?
THANK YOU
Yes, for same amount AS LONG AS YOU DONT EXIT THE ORIGINAL INTERACTION.
Hopefully I’ll be able to play Starfield tonight or tomorrow… preordered the game just to spend the early access time downloading it
Today I just tried the Manequin suit thingy.... It worked, I went into first person mode got real close to the door slowed down my mouse and aim for the door crack, took me like 10 minutes lol. thanks alot
I tried it you way abs it worked! Haha
Nice!
1:02 that mannequin trick still works by the way.
I don’t think it’s a bug. Most of the display cases have a huge pixel gap.
In the new update and the ingrate little jackasses actually sadly patched this.
Named characters usually have 700-1100 credits on them, but unnamed NPCs only have 30-70 credits and aren't really worth it.
Great tip!
Helpful tip: set the game mode to 'Very Easy'. Neither Achievements nor XP Gain are affected by difficulty setting. In fact you will probably gain more XP playing it on very easy due to higher rates of success in all aspects of the game.
That’s true, but the harder the mode you play on the better the loot drops are.
@@jeremyduncan8812 That was a rumour ,that is false
on hardest setting i get many rare drops and legendary weapons and missions to assasinate the pirate captain of such and such get a huge level boost, i was about lvl35 and the badass pirate was lvl 50 despite his grunt troops fluctuating fron lvl 5 to 25. got a Varuun Beserk Painblade off him, its my new go to weapon. boxes throughout that mission had purple and blue gear and 2 gold legendary weapons. never had that level of good fortune on normal
@@terrancewilliamson6194it’s 100% true you melt
It only turns blue after you start putting points into the skill. It also allows auto and more of them at higher levels. Just takes paying attention alittle to understand that
You can also, seel your stolen items at the an Trade Authority and stay in the same menu and buy ot back. It removes the stolen label.
The marshal (the old man) also has a very good weapon and is in the same place as emma on the third floor of the rock.
Where is this?
@@th3corruptone On the rock in the Cheyenne system
A NICE TIP! if you work for Crimson Fleet, go into the bar in their outpost and see Bog, the bartender. Purchase a ton of his specialty drink called, "BOG'S GROG." This gives you +20 Carry Capacity for 10m! And 30% O2 Recovery for 10 minutes. This has been an awesome little feature for certain situations for me. I buy a crap load of them and use them when I need to.
Btw if you steal an item you can sell it than buy it back for the same price and it gets rid of the stolen mark
@@Belgariad87 yea that’s exactly what I did bagged a few really good rolls inc 500dmg magshot sniper
Or you could just set it to "puss" difficulty.
@@Lynxee3004 you can do this with a pilot simulator.
One thing that I haven't seen talked about a lot is that if you rest for 2 hours or more, you get the Falloutlike "Well Rested" perk, giving you 10% bonus experience for a period of time.
I haven’t seen ANYONE mention this.
LOOKS AMAZING!
Suit glitch in the lodge still works. Thanks
Awesome Video Jorraptor💯💯🔥
Something I noticed trash cans can help you steal things. Just sweep items to a secluded spot & find a vendor that will wipe your stolen goods, DO NOT CLOSE the window or lose your stuff. Basically it will be the same price as they give.
Thank you, was able to get the armor using the method you described.
There’s a bunch of master locks on the lock planet next that the key is orbiting during the mission inside the watchtower inside the cave there’s like 3 master locks and way more throughout the cave
Space Suit bug still works, Just got it thanks!
When I steal from a person, I quicksave first ( F5 ), when I am detected, I quickly load again ( F9 )
That lockpicking glitch also works for the vertical glass case with weapons inside it. The muzzle of the gun will stick out of the glass and you can get it without lock picking 🤙🏾🤙🏾@JorRaptor
Some Gear in Shops is totally related to Player level. Like beowulf guns only startet to show up from level 10 onwards
This an amazing video
For the Armor at The Lodge all you need to do is align your cursor with the small gap on the glass between the door & crouch . It’s glitched & will allow you to press the mannequin & take the armor out without the lock skill. A lot of loot in locked glass cases throughout the game is glitched, you can actually take it out especially some of the weapons. I got The mannequin glitch from the channel “The Spiffing Brit. He basically breaks these games every time.
That's literally what he said to do bro 💀😂
You can do it standing too
I had trouble with that, so I just moved back and forth until I caught the sweet spot
Thanks, I play it on Xbox and couldn’t get the glitch to work until I crouched.
@@PhatManChew same. Seems to work right away after crouching
I got the Mark 1 suit today...the trick still works.
items in the shops, as well as quest rewards, level up as you do. at lvl 1 100k creds is alot, at lvl 40... not so much.
For your first tip. I got this and didn't notice the bug. I just gave the armor to sara
I didn't think mannequin thing would work but it did so thank you 😂😂
Thanks for the shoutout glad it helped :)
You can launder stolen goods. Steal your stuff, sell it to the vendor at Shepherd's General Store in Akila City (nice, extra $$$), then use the puddle glitch to take it all back. 😎
I haven't tried this yet, but in theory it should work. The only issue might be if the vendor won't buy an item that's labeled stolen. 🤷🏻♂️
You can actually just clean your stolen items by selling them to a vendor then buying them back without exiting the menu so you can buy them back at the same price. 👍
the look Walter gave the MC 😂 2:56
Woah the mark 1 armor case was just unlocked for me the first time I ran down there… unless I accidentally got it through the glass. I’ll have to go check if it’s still locked
Thanks for the upload
Loving the game so far!
Same here!
@@JorRaptorwhat kind of rating would you give this game so far? Your scale or metacritic scale? Everyone seems to be enjoying the game to 1° or another, But no one seems to be able to say how much fun they're actually having? 🤔🙂
@@Jackjack1978.I was thinking 9/10. Maybe 8.5/10. It falls short in a couple areas. I really wanted more from the ship building for one example. I assume some of the DLC expansions in the future will improve and add more things that will only further increase my love for the game. If nothing else, mods are probably going to make this game 11/10
+1 for the blue ring tip
HOLY SHIT the mannequin thingy is so busted! Reminds me of the first time I saw a cool elven sword in Whiterun 10 years ago and spent 20 minutes trying to unlock the case!
If you sell stolen items to the trade authority then buy them back it removes the stolen marker 👍🏻
Just got this tonight, it's still downloading. Hopefully the space suit glitch, still works.
There is an area in The Well in New Atlantas, follow left as you come out of the lift, door guarded by two security guards. Can't remember the name.
Inside there is a women that allows you to sell your stolen weapons, but if you buy them back before you leave that menu they will be cleaned and no longer show as a stolen item.
Remember to always buy back before leaving the menu or you will lose your weapon.
The only tip in the whole video is to steal literally everything.
The glitch with the outfit still works. I did it today😊
You can go to the trade authority and sell the stolen goods and then buy it back to clean them really good for cleaning guns and armor
Holy cow I got the space suit:D
I just did the first tip and it worked 😅
Same 😂
Same 👌
Can you do a video explaining the menu? If I'm not mistaken I watched one of yours about Hogwarts Legacy and it helped me a lot. I'm a noob and find very hard to understand RPG games. So I'm having a hard time atm. I'd be really happy if you could help. If that's not a problem many people face and it's not an interesting video I'd understand too.
First “task” you do for the crimson fleet you board a ship looking for some guy, kill the crew and the captain has the Mark I armor and pack
I had the full set by the time I was level 3
Apparently if you sell items to the trade collective, then buy it back, it removes the stolen aspect from any item.
Hover aound glass cases. I have bypassed a few so far and got a couple of epic weapons behind master locks.
Where are the weapons?
08:02 you don't need to go to bed on your ship, there is a chair next to the shop, you can sit and wait there
For the assassin Grendel from emma, you have to be level 10+ otherwise she only has a modified advanced grendel
I am lvl 12 and she only have advanced grandel? I think it is skill related thing
@eisabaheri7041 its also a timing issue, the marshal will have it upstairs if she doesn't have it
@@HatredLLC im level 10 and emma and the marshal dont have it
The blue Digipick ring only shows blue if you have Rank 2 of Security.
Pro tips thanks for the advice you real homie unlike these assholes out here posting fake videos. Real shit 💯
The Mantis armor is the best early to mid game armor 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️
If you are playing on the series X, and are having trouble lining it up. Squat and the suit name should appear.
You can sell everything placed inside your ship at trade authority kiosk. It will spawned back after a while. It's not much, probably a few hundred. But if you in need of few money here you go.
Huge tip…launder any item at trade authority by selling stolen item and immediately buying the item back
I never did like getting op , im usually op at the end of these games anyway
Video 1 can confirm it still works \o/
For me Emma had a generic Grender (white item text). Any advice or alternative GG weapons to steal early?
Same smh still waiting for an answer. Mine was only an advance Grendel not the assassins advance
I have been wearing the Legendary Mantis Space Suit, Pack and Helm
have like 7 days worth of play time and on 2 main mission 😂
@LEEROY79 yea currently on them right now im level 26 and barley starting the story lol im been to pretty all the major systems and done what i can within reason
You should play the main mission up until , you'll know when you get there. Don't spend too much time on side content until then. If you recall, Bethesda did say the game doesn't really get going until you do the story.
@@TraceguyRune i know but the thing is i’m having a blast! the games so addicting and i haven’t even touched the story im currently completing all the quests i can do in neon and its really fun im also doing bounty’s and being a pirate to merchant ships lol
Going to NG+10 so my powers are maxed. I get the best armor and ship
That first exploit takes me back to fallout 3 and getting the experimental mirv at level 2 without getting the tapes
And also Fallout 4 using Dogmeat to steal the Ice gun at the very beggining lol
Hiya just wanted to let you know you can just clear the red theft icon on the weapons you stole by going to any Trade Authority in any city of your liking, you can then sell stolen weapons and immediately go to the buy back button and buy your own weapons you sold back for precisely the same amount of credits you sold it for.
Then as you bought back the weapons, the red stealing/theft icon is removed from the stolen weapons and they are now legitimately yours.
Have fun!
That grendel has no legendary modifiers. It's orange/yellow in the inventory but when you steal it, seems to revert to a normal modified smg. Lol.
Early this time
Old world sniper is a lot better than the beowulf 138 damage and its already suppressed, and its fairly easy to find early
Were Is it
I don't know why but Emmas Grendel wasn't the same for me.
The ring turning blue is part of the skill upgrades just FYI
I feel like the stealing the armor behind the glass trick will ruin so many players first experiences. I saw this video just preparing for my first playthru and got to play it tonight on GP (in Florida so 7pm CST US time for me) and I came across the armor and it did work but it was an easy NOPE! I want to experience it without starting off with a god code on. I guess if you are role playing a thief tank who starts their journey off OP then go ahead but I feel it will give most players a less than ideal experience that they wouldn’t know until they played it again without doing it.
it is a non legendary armor set that you are going to replace the moment you find a green blue or an actual legendary. But sure, be worried about how this little tip is going to ruin the game for everyone else.
