Brother, you've done a great job with this review and your benchmarking. I hope you keep it up and get on par with the other tech bros! Liked, subscribed, and looking forward to picking up this same laptop tomorrow. Open Box at BestBuy like yours for 1530, I think that's a damn good deal! Thank you.
Just bought this for 1400 in good condition from Best Buy OB I’m really looking forward to the upgrade from my Lenovo legion 5 with a Rtx 3050ti most new games have been a struggle for it. Love the review definitely need more subscribers!
@@ahmedabdelwahab5181 It was basically new! It was supposed to come with a charger, but it didn't. However, Best Buy gave me one. Overall, I've been very happy with it. It's worth noting that since it's been reset, there's a lot of updating to be done.

@@juliand1819 writing this comment on it right now, lol. I love it, thing can compete with my desktop in gaming due to DLSS and raytracing just being better and I can still easily take it on the road. Probably my best purchase for a laptop and I've owned some sort of laptop at all times since the early 2000s.
I got one with 32gb ram for 1400, 1500 after taxes. Kinda wanna return/ sell for an Asus Zephyrus G16 instead bc of the beautiful OLED screen. But I got the AW-M16 at such a great price 😬
The main question is whether they have been able to create a cooling system that keeps the processor at around 80-90 degrees during a stress test? Because all the Alienwares on Intel go into 100-degree throttling literally 2 seconds after the stress test starts.
yo ive had mine for a year now love it as well just upgraded my storage to a 2tb samsung 990 ssd are you running 2 32gb for the ram? and what speed is it rated
I bought mine new a few month ago at best buy and I am still happy with it. Everything works fine, the screen problem after sleeping mode happened to me 2 / 3 times so far. Beside that, I am happy i got it for 1800 new since I have Desktop Computer at the moment.

Hi, I bought this laptop and bought a Samsung 990evo SSD for it and that’s the problem, the SSD is simply not visible in the BIOS or the system, tell me, do you know what the problem is?
I'll give it a shot, only problem with that though is Alienware is going to stop supporting it long before nvidia will. Ultimately leaving you with out of date drivers, or just putting up with the bluescreens.
I'm thinking of getting an open box in 'Good' condition too. How's your experience with it so far? Was anything missing or not working, aside from the box?
I've had no problems with it outside the occasional bluescreen waking up from sleep, which is likely caused by me using the nvidia driver and not the dell driver. Honestly it's not a issue though because I don't let it go to sleep anymore.
Hows your temperature? I got one for $1675 same specs same packaging. But when I got it the cpu temperatire was really high about 67-90 doing absolutely nothing no usage but really hot I returned it now im thinking of getting another one for $1545.
Just sitting here watching youtube the cpu sits in the mid 50s, but to be fair these cpus are designed for run hot, AMD went with a higher TJmax with the 7000 series and if I recall they said the cpu is designed to run at 95c all the time. Here is a link to AMD talking about it. community.amd.com/t5/gaming/ryzen-7000-series-processors-let-s-talk-about-power-temperature/ba-p/554629
@@GrumpyWolfTech I'm not really familiar with AMD it was the first time I bought a AMD CPU I didn't know they are designed to run at 95c avg I usually use Intel cpus and they run 40-60celsius stand by. Well thanks for your response I just ordered another one Ill try again.
@@GrumpyWolfTech I just got my Laptop I was able to fix the overheating CPU issue I found out you can change the TCC offset which limits the CPU performance a little bit but lowers the temperature I set it about 87celsius now it's always 87celsius if I don't turn on TCC offset it's 100celsius constant when gaming while doing light browsing around 60-80. The fps difference is not really huge about 5fps difference
Mine is running hot too. 70-80 when idle and the fan is loud. It is really a silicon lottery that some cpu is cooler than others. Temp is not a issue to me but the fan noise is.
@@stewwey4059 No top Intel processor runs in any laptop at the temperatures you mentioned. If it doesn't throttle at 100 degrees under load and stays around 90, that's already a big success.
I picked one up too. Been comparing to my X15 R2 3070ti. 4080 is better but really notice CPU difference. That is large so depending on your work/game it can be very useful
I came from an intel laptop with a 13620, and I was just not impressed. I then tried a 13900hx, and wasn't impressed with that either. I don't know if it's a thing with the e cores and p cores, but in my recent experience these AMD mobile chips are just WAY better.
Woah! 1520 for a high end Alienware laptop? I can only dream of finding an Alienware for this price... I would take it with me even if I had to take a loan somewhere to do so...
Bought a g14 oled 120hz with a RTX 4060 open box for 1k at best buy. I can say indeed the 8gb of Vram is causing me to possibly go buy this Alienware open box. I love the portability of the g14 and its mainly for school but when I game I need that extra Vram lol
I just bought "Alienware - m16 QHD+ 240Hz Gaming Laptop - AMD Ryzen 9 - 16GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 - 1TB SSD - Windows 11 Pro - Dark Metallic Moon" for $1,200 USD + Taxes on bestbuy. I am going to pick it up in two days, hopefully I dont have to return it, it looks promising but I used to have a Dell M6800 Precision and I know what is to be carrying a heavy laptop. I sold my Z13 ACRNM i9 RTX 4060 because I saw the opportunity and with the same money I kinda bought better specs but lost portability. Otherwise will have to buy a G14 with 3060 or 4060
Just got mine in today, really responsive & quick. Perfect purchase for someone like me who is in the road all the time
Just found one for 1049.99 excellent condition open box, couldn’t let that deal go hopefully there’s no temp issues with it.
I've had none at all and mine mostly is mounted to a wall closed. Which is not the ideal way to run a laptop.
