For anyone interested in WIM systems... (Weigh-In-Motion), look up how weight plates are monitored on the interstate. Interesting to say the least. But watch out to all you truckers, cause if your truck and load are not 100%, they will know.
Steve, those are not WIM plates between Exit 40 and Exit 39. That is a tolling system. They read the number of axles and bill your EZPASS account or Toll By Plate account accordingly.
Steve I’ve been wanting to ask you about the rack on Orwells roof and what’s it for??? At first I thought an old APU system but then thought maybe for some type of air deflection device!!??? Keep the amazing content coming and I’ll see you in the next one!!!
Great video Steve really enjoy all the different camera angles and your commentary and the music. First off load when smoothly second off load made it off but tge rigging was questionable. Thanks for sharing stay safe Steve.
I’ve been a subscriber for awhile now I usually don’t comment much but it was cool to see you in my neck of the woods in upstate New-York hopefully I’ll run into you and Orwell sometime I know those same roads very well I travel 690 and 81 pretty frequently
T Hasl again! Thank you for another nice video Steve. It is night in Norway 🇧🇻 when i see them. I think we are 6-8 hour difference in time from USA. 👍. Keep on with you good and honnest work, and stay safe .
Hey stave how are you doing today my on this beautiful day so any updates on the stepdack and did you find out what was wrong with the truck and I watching your UA-cam videos and they are very educated and I like the content in the videos and I like the way you explain things to your viewers in the videos like were you are going to the dasnchin
Yep old iron is running good. Thumbs up 👍 only a week battery 🪫 a few times when running with a bad battery I would park on a hill so I could roll start
@ you don’t. Then you call road service. But I had a good air tanks and no leaks. So after a 10 hr brake I was ok. To roll start. Otherwise I would idle for the night.
The go pros doing there job The only thing I don't understand you undertake people. We wouldn't be allowed to do that in in the UK Ole well 👍 never mind Orwell performance amazing
Talk about progress! WOW, I always loved Orwell, but now the new truck is exciting! The Ford rebuild will be exciting. Are you still doing the escort gig? You are on the road to BIG things.
BEST TRUCKIN VIDEOS ON UA-cam. STEVE KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK DRIV,AH. THANKS FOR THE WONDERFUL TALK THIS WEEK LET'S NOT FORGET TO DO THE TRAIL OF THE DRAGON THIS SUMMER 2025...
Steve I know down here in Okc on I35 north of the city there are weight scales in the interstate for about 3 miles. They use them for weights mainly in four wheelers and there are also money counters up on poles next to same area along interstate. Had a customer who was law enforcement and commissioned through multiple agencies, local and federal. They sit up there in unmarked units looking for drug loads and large sums of cash. The money counters are tracking 20’s and up. Apparently according to the officer, who was a customer of mine, they had computers in their units that would ding them if four wheelers were heavier than normal or had $10,000 plus in cash!!! Have seen a lot of them over the past 15-20yrs pulled over and torn apart. They had to be in that area for them to work.
@@jeremiahsullivan5219no what they’re looking for is large sums of cash. It’s not necessarily counting how much money is passing through it’s looking for the strips inside $20’s, $50’s & $100’s in large quantities. we are a major thoroughfare with I35 and I40, the amount of money going south and drugs coming north would astound you. Most folks don’t carry over $10k in cash, do it in the central US and be prepared to answer a few questions!
Being in the UK, are you saying they can wear your truck while you pass over at like 60 mph? How the bloody hell does that work? How accurate is that? Carl uk 🇬🇧
In this case if he shut it off, it might have stayed off until they could jumpstart it. Orwell isn't the newest kid on the block, he isn't set up for constant restarting.
Binghamton Vestal area, right in my backyard! Just so you know, we're not all idiots like that tweaker on the lift, unfortunately that's the generation that's coming up around here.
Orwell delivers customers' orders over long distances, bringing joy to those who receive them. Great job, Orwell!👍
Some people should not operate equipment . Im glad you have that on camera .

The towers between exit 40 and 39 are for toll collection for ezpass since there are no more toll booths on the NY state thruway.
Safe travels from California
