Nice truck, Landon' lucky guy, never happened at my house, Oh, forgot, was only guy there, lol. Chinese parts should never be used except to fill recycle can. Always screw up or don't fit!
I sold the old Coleman 3 burner stove, it had had a rough life. But I still have the Coleman lantern that you have to pump up. I know my dad had taken it to Colorado for an elk hunting sometime around 1945. ps I also have his Winchester model 70 300 H&H Magnum that he bought in 1945, I have the original receipt. 😁
@FabRats Honestly, that thank you at the end doesn't sound like much, but that's what makes it all worth while as a parent! I love that he said it on camera too! 😀 Thank you guys for sharing your life like you do!! I've got much love and respect for you and your family, Paul!
Came here to say the exact same; the thankyou and look said it all of how grateful he was; raised right. Acts right, as a family you were all raised right
The best dad teaches his son or daughter how to fix their own car so they have more respect for it. Can not only is it hard work to fix that vehicle is costly and that child should learn how costly it is to him and his parents aren't his piggy bank. Rewarding a child is one thing but freeloading children are a disgrace to society and the downfall of humanity
@Shawn-s8o I think Paul's boys are the furthest thing from what you're describing, they help with things in the shop, on the property and on jobs all the time, and had a big hand in building their trucks.
@@Iamthathillbilly Agreed. I never taught my daughter how to fix her own car as that's not something most people with her degrees care to do. But I did make sure her car was reliable during her college days. I'm guessing @Shawn-s8o has an adult child still living at home.
Paul needs to chop up a few lengths of rebar, bend them in u-shapes & weld them to the left lift post so he can get into vehicles up on the lift without dragging that step ladder back & forth!
Grandma's always a joy. You'll always laugh when she shows up. I felt sorry for her when Ben called her after his wreck. She was worried until Ben called.
I wish my dad knew more about cars. I'm a construction guy through and through. But deep down I've always wanted to know about cars. I wish I had someone like Paul in my life.
I wish all family's were like yours always helping each other an just being there for one another thanks fabrats an congratulations on the onx build #1🎉🎉
You’re a hell of a dad Paul… your boys are lucky to have a father that is there to help them get a head start and just simply be there to lend a hand when they need it. It’s awesome, kudos to you my friend
Landon is a fine young man. He clearly is proud to have parents who know how to discipline and reward accordingly. Furthermore, I’m so over Michelle’s Jeepster, but giving up parts for the On X build paid off with your first place win. Stay awesome.
Grandma is always "right on." I don't know how you do it, but the crew is constantly super cool. Strong family ties are a key ingredient to all the videos. Excellent content again. Thumbs up all around.
You're a good Dad, Paul! When Landon gets home for the weekends, he can help you out on the bunch of little things that need to get done so you can get started on the Jeepster, seeing how you guys surprised him with his truck ready to roll! Catch you on the next. ✌️ 😊
Nice work guys!! I'll bet Landon is super happy that his truck is back and working. Nothing more depressing that NOT having your vehicle!! GOOD DAD!!!!
This old WVA fella absolutely loves this channel. Without a doubt my favorite on UA-cam. You all keep it real. And that makes me smile on every video 😊
The best food I have eaten was food my grandmother cooked on the Coleman stove. We had the white gas Coleman lanterns and the whole nine yards. Bringing back wonderful memories.
We’ve seen Land grow up and get his respect. It’s good to see. I remember there was a specific episode when it happened a year ago or so. Turning out just fine and you guys did a great job and still are.
Intermountain transmission exchange in SLC. Done several trans there. They are doing a 4l60 adapter for tone ring to a 241c p drop on my 79 Cherokee. Gonna be mint with a truck Norris 6.0.
You had me laughing hard at “talking dragons”. Relatable. Those fittings are exactly why all my transmissions now have JIC fittings and tractor hoses. Done with those junk fittings.
On 4l80 transmissions, there is two types, front lube, and rear lube. Front lube uses 2 short fittings, and the rear lube uses 1 short, 1 long. Just a heads up for those messing with them.
JEEPSTER, JEEPSTER, JERPSTER🤣👍 I can relate...we all have projects that take a while 😁Paul Great seeing you all getting the ol truck up and going 🤠👍 Pray you all have a wonderful & blessed rest of the week as well as weekend too come 👋🤠
Must be fantastic to have had a dad that a) did stuff to make his boy happy and b) appreciated any success or achievment his boy had. and c) didn’t criticise every single positive thought and idea his son had. I didn’t which is why I never had kids.
Hey Paul! Try a piece of masking tape over the bolt head, it makes a snug fit in the socket and no more dropsy’s! LOL! PS; your new camera man might work, he’s got enough smartassery to fit in! Oh! And thanks for the great content, and for being a great example, your kids are lucky! Mel from Quesnel🇨🇦
Paul is an amazing dad. My dad went home to God 2 years ago and he was a good dad and i see a little bit of my dad in Paul. Mr. Paul please keep up the good work and keep on being the great guy you are.
My mom was just luke grandma lolly she raised 4 boys full of shenanigans always told us i brought you into world cant take you out lol really miss MOM❤
Boy better tell Lando he better hand onto that ole girl. It’s a rare sight too see a regular can step side square body. Especially one that isn’t plum eat up with rust. Beautiful truck, needs a 4speed and a 454
I'm pretty sure he was in a recent video. If you watch Paul's brother in laws channel at all he did a video where he rode along with Dar at work for a day, he said he normally works long days all summer paving and doesn't slow down until the winter
Respect 🫡 Paul you’re an amazing person and an even better father. I am building my pole shed in Wisconsin. Have a tire changer , balancer and an older pipe bender. Thanks for showing the good and the screw ups man. Keep it up.👍🏻
Hurt me a little to hear "this is all vintage camping stuff" and then you pull out the coleman stove and lantern identical to what my dad brought with us when I was a kid! I get it. I'm no longer the young man I was. Ouch!
When I was in school I went to see the first of a new set of trains that were being brought in, latest state of the art. This year they put the last one into a museum. Yeah, ouch.
I love this channel and family! I miss Michelle and her laugh, we need more so don't be afraid Michelle we love you And the haters can....well you know. I don't want to sound negative, but I liked Lando's truck As a flat bed manual. That's me and I just wanted to say it, but the best thing about this channel is that Paul works hard to teach his boys and what he will do to make sure they are in a safe vehicle 👏
Sometimes it's helpful to shove the filler tube up in where it goes and then jack the transmission up and when the bellhousing gets close to lining up, guide the tube into the trans case while jacking up the last few inches.
big Landon smile, and a big thank you to Dad! U raised them right Paul!
"Just dumb enough not to quit" should be on a shirt. My wife even said she would buy one for me!😂
Yeah, mine did too. Women!
Definitely need a shirt with that on it.
I need one for sure! 😁👍💪💪
That’s cool. I’m glad you got that fixed for him. He’s a good kid takes after his dad.
Always love Grandma's insight! and Kudos to the fan that sent you the vintage camping stuff! NICE. Takes me back to my days as a Boy Scout
Nice truck, Landon' lucky guy, never happened at my house, Oh, forgot, was only guy there, lol. Chinese parts should never be used except to fill recycle can. Always screw up or don't fit!
Will be perfect for the OnX build. A classic vehicle, classic overlanding gear!

I restore Coleman stuff and have 12 of those stoves and 3 of those lamps here in Canada !! Ready for anything I tell ya !
@FabRats Honestly, that thank you at the end doesn't sound like much, but that's what makes it all worth while as a parent! I love that he said it on camera too! 😀 Thank you guys for sharing your life like you do!! I've got much love and respect for you and your family, Paul!
Remember, Landon is a man of few words. I'm glad we got more than a smiling grunt.
@@timdillard3665 Yep. That is pretty much my point. It makes it worth while when you hear it said with sincerity, like Landon did in this video.
Came here to say the exact same; the thankyou and look said it all of how grateful he was; raised right. Acts right, as a family you were all raised right
JUSAY'N, The best kind of Dad is the kind that fixes your truck while you're away at college.
The best dads helped them build the truck and then surprise them for their hard work! GREAT job Paul !

What a Great Father you are Paul!
Such a gem to have a dad who knows how to do and fix all the stuff…
Choked me up. Hope your kids understand just how phenomenal their parents are, and how fortunate they are.
Paul needs to chop up a few lengths of rebar, bend them in u-shapes & weld them to the left lift post so he can get into vehicles up on the lift without dragging that step ladder back & forth!
We did this too
His smile says it all!! Nice job Paul and the crew!
That two tone square body is nice. I like when you show the not so good luck, shows you're real people.
Grandma's always a joy. You'll always laugh when she shows up. I felt sorry for her when Ben called her after his wreck. She was worried until Ben called.
Nothing like seeing that big smile on Landon. Truck sounds awesome... as you say... "Take it for a Rip"... T shirt time...
I wish my dad knew more about cars. I'm a construction guy through and through. But deep down I've always wanted to know about cars. I wish I had someone like Paul in my life.
That paved driveway looks great!
That was AWESOME Paul 👌, you have AWESOME Sons and it's nice seeing you help them out while there at school. Thanks for the video guy's 👋

Nice work on Landon's truck...made jim happy.
Great dad, Paul
Good to see Landon get his truck back! Loved the donuts!

Thank you Paul and crew for the update on Landon's truck !
You fix it twice so it's nice four times it's a dream and Landon looks so pleased with the square body good job Paul and Tom.
Seeing how happy Landon looks and seeing how much he appreciates his family is priceless ❤
It's not even my truck or even my family, but I'm smiling that Lando looks happy.
Landon your one lucky fellow , fantastic work Paul . The bump stick sure sounds nice . I can’t wait to see more videos on it . Cheers 🇨🇦
Good morning everyone 🤙🏻😎 Way to go team Fab Rats🎉🥇🏆!!
That’s pretty sweet of you Paul! I would do the same for my son. Land seemed pretty happy! That’s what makes it all worth it

That was a true “Proud Dad” smile at the end. Keep up the good work.
Those big smiles are what we love to see as Dad's. Nice work... Tom's a handy feller to have around!
This was a real feel good episode! Seeing the smile on his face was worth it all

That’s why I watch your channel you Paul have a big heart an your family are very good people keep it up Thanks
Nice to Landon smile
The person who sent the Mountain Dew kerosene lamp was a perfect gift for you and put a smile on my face.
Made me feel happy to see Landon's smile and the thankyou was a special way to end the video on.
“Hey Lando! Your trucks fixed!….. but your gonna need tires!” 😂😂 can’t wait to see that red all shined up! Great episode!

Is that the name of the book?
He even has everything to make actual hydraulic hoses right in the shop.
The smile on Landons face was priceless.....
Work shops seem handy to have. --- Thanks for the great upload. ---
Paul's track record with transmissions doesn't get any better... 😜😜😁😁

What a good dad ! !
That's one heck of a Thanksgiving present. I can't imagine what you do for Christmas, Paul. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.

Love the leak mess!! That's the way I do things!! Hahaha. Glad you guys show the pain of doing mechanics!! The truck sounds awesome 👍
The tacoma!!! The build that got me back to working on my SASd 5.0 Ranger after sitting for 10 years.

A lot of hard work and patience for those smiles 😊 worth it!
Congratulations on the On-X build!!!!

Kid works his butt off,Nice surprise Dad😊
Paul! You may have saved my 4l80 bacon with that rear fitting knowledge!! Thanks man!
