Heard Brad Delp do this song live - Brad Delp was amazing but you know what... Even the great Brad Delp had to change how he sang this song to do it live - I played this song for people that said "he's good but he's no Brad Delp" - then showed them a live version of Boston doing this song - they came away with a lot more respect for the both Johns and the Sekulo Band after that.
This Video 6 Years ago would have put John E at 58 and John S at 67. Both of them great vocalists. I actually wish Jay would put out a CD of the songs that he's done with John & John.
John did the best Kansas album they had..imo. Now I love me some Steve Walsh, the guy was incredible...but just one man talking, Vinyl Confessions is absolutely the best written songs from beginning to end...every song!

Wow!!! Are you kidding me right now? I was a teen when Boston hit the scene. I was a huge fan from Massachusettes. If I wasn't mistaken I would think Jay's "Senior Seasoned" band was trying to pull off Long Time better than the original MIT kids. In my opinion, they DID it. Great performance and video. John was not the original singer of Kansas (that was Steve Walsh), John was already christian when he replaced Steve. But he is a great singer ofcource.

There has never been a better sound produced record in history like Boston's first album, well done cover, these guys nailed it, that guitarist has Tom Scholtz down pretty well.
OMG......John Elefante and John Schlitt (Petra). I used to listen to these guys in the early nineties doing contemporary christian music. It's good to know that they still got it!!!! Elefante's voice is still one of the best in music today. Great version of 'Long Time". All I can say is..Give us more.

A very difficult song to cover, and they were right on the money from start to finish. If it wasn't for the video, I would've thought it was Boston themselves. It's the 2nd best cover I've ever heard (best being Stevie Ray Vaughn's cover of Jimi Hendrix's Voodoo Child). These guys are incredible. Would love to see them do more covers and maybe a tour.

I am Russian, and I will write here only because I have been listening to the music of the Boston band since 1977 on the Voice of America radio, as a 15-year-old teenager. By the way, it was very hard to hear, because special "jammers" were working on this wave, but my brother and I still recorded it on a tape recorder, and then listened to it all over and over again... So I fell in love with the music of the Boston band for life...they are unique! This cover band performed wonderfully, including vocalists! I'm giving a standing ovation! It's amazing. But, I have to say that there is another American cover band: Lexington Lab Band. And so, about these musicians, I will say: they are real pros! Their performance of this composition sounds better than the original. But every time I am surprised again and again how many wonderful musicians there are in America.

What a wonderful blast from the past! Jay Sekulow and "his guys" do a great job recapturing the original spirit that was in this Boston classic. Of course, he's got some real heft to "his guys"... like former lead singer for Kansas, John Elefante, and former Petra lead singer, John Schlitt. There is perhaps no more iconic opening guitar riff in the late 70s than this Boston song. Thank you for posting this!
Impressive! I saw Boston perform this live in Berkeley in the 70s when I was in the Air Force. I have been watching Jay expertly defend President Trump. Yesterday I watched a Mike Huckabee and Jay's band was on. I was amazed. Now today this pops up, wow! The guys all sound great. The lead guitarist nailed it and the lead singer was great too!

What a wonderful blast from the past! Jay Sekulow and "his guys" do a great job recapturing the original spirit that was in this Boston classic. Of course, he's got some real heft to "his guys"... like former lead singer for Kansas, John Elefante, and former Petra lead singer, John Schlitt. There is perhaps no more iconic opening guitar riff in the late 70s than this Boston song. Thank you for posting this!

Impressive! I saw Boston perform this live in Berkeley in the 70s when I was in the Air Force. I have been watching Jay expertly defend President Trump. Yesterday I watched a Mike Huckabee and Jay's band was on. I was amazed. Now today this pops up, wow! The guys all sound great. The lead guitarist nailed it and the lead singer was great too!
