Guys... I have heard a ton of bands in my life, this band is fantastic. I would venture to say that they are one of the best if not the best band in the country right now.
Ok. I've been listing all morning to you guys doing covers. Dang you guys are good. Why oh why don't you do a covers CD for all us old rockers out here ? Please make one Jay.....dang you guys rock !
I made 2 mentions on Twitter a week ago (there were numerous retweets), about their song "Where I Stand" and it garnered 60,000 new views in this week. And, I'm finally getting around to listen to listening to the rest of their songs. I'm even more 'over-the-top impressed', now.
I am with you and that is part of the reason I was never much into live rock concerts. I want the music to sound great over watching the folks running around and doing acrobatics on stage.. Only two rock concerts I attended back in the day was AC/DC and Van Halen. I love my generation of rock n roll......
Oh, I see. I was wondering, the jukebox at bowling has 2 Eagles Live albums and Life's Been Good is on there, but doesn't say Joe Walsh, just Eagles. That is why I got mixed up like that.
I'm trying to figure this out. Bunch of Christian guys that have had great careers playing Christian music. Many of these guys I have seen or met. I don't mind the politics, I don't mind the songs even. I'm trying to figure out the angle though. Trying to do secular covers to the note to prove your real players instead of Christian players? You've Been real for years, nothing to prove. (these guys are good and top shelf players on any level. so good that the media beats them up and says they suck. they don't) Trying to be cool so people will accept the conservative political angle? That won't work. Believe me, I play music and most I work with would avoid me and my musicality if I got upitty about being conservative. Maybe not. I'm not judging anyone, I am just trying to figure out why. Just for fun? To raise money? Who's paying the BMI fees? I mean they shut down clubs if you play anything that is not original if you don't have a BMI license. Help me out.
Actually, Joe Vitale co-wrote the song they're playing and has either co-writern, produced, or played on some of the most iconic songs and albums in rock history, as well as being the road drummer for the Eagles for forty years. I think he's earned the right to play it in a video with some friends. Likewise, John Elefante had a pretty impressive secular career long before he was a Christian artist. Same with John Schlitt. Why don't you lighten up.
I agree with the others that you should lighten up. They obviously enjoy playing a great rock song as they are, well, great rock musicians. What more reason need there be?
❤❤ All I can say is just WOW Boomshell 😮😮
Right to bear news...
You guys are the best cover band ever. God bless you all.
I have a friend who loves Petra. I've seen them in concert 13 times. jay's band is Amazing!

Wow. The sound is perfect. Great job on this one.
Proof that there are great musicians that don't rely on electronics or dance moves . Awesome group.

I always wondered what happened to Elefante. Damn good singer. This looks like a fun little band to play in.

A perfect song to reflect on our many blessings, as we contemplate this Pandemic.

This song is AMAZING!!! Sounds very close to Joe Walsh...although I thought this was originally an Eagles song.
sportsygirl8 nope, solo Joe all the way. He has played it during some eagles reunion shows though

Oops. Not Mickey. My bad. Still awesome drummer!
Love it, but like I thought decades ago: silliest song ever written! Lol

jimflys2 lighten up man. They’re having fun. GlaD Jesus wasn’t religious.
There are no perfect Christians. If there were we would not need Jesus.
I agree with the others that you should lighten up. They obviously enjoy playing a great rock song as they are, well, great rock musicians. What more reason need there be?
Simple: they are having fun. Period. (And, for lots of reasons, it's all 100% legal/legit ;) )
Because he wears earrings, the one who sings in the first one, if he is a servant of God, he should not be like that.
He is a bondservant to GOD. Read Deuteronomy 15:15-17.
Leonard Collazo nice religious thing to say. Glad Jesus wasn’t religious
nice try
