Pre-recorded is fine with me…and an occasional live is fun! You do what makes sense to you - I’ll be delighted either way :) have fun, enjoy yourselves !
I will watch live. I will watch taped . I will watch shorts ( with or without shorts ) I will watch pajama gardener. I love all the content! Now I have crochet to look forward to. Thanks so much!! ❤
Arne, your embroidery on canvas from your childhood is cool. Hearing about your creative childhood , playing with pine cones and what nature provided is great 😊. I like the snowflake crochet pattern; I would like to make it. You guys are neat. Thanks for sharing.
I think it's very intuitive for Arne to transform an automotive care and repair book into an art form by using some of the pages as a coloring book. It just goes to show how these two gentleman are always thinking design, colorwork, planning, and establishing their craft. Absolutely brilliant. 😮
I knit all year long, even when it's warm. I usually try and knit with cotton or some light weight yarn. Pre-recorded works great; honestly you keep me entertained while knitting
Test swatch, STITCH MARKERS, (for repeat of pattern) & chart. All essential for knitting. Yes, I have been knitting for 66 years. I started off knitting socks on 4 needles at the age of 8.
Would love for you to write the pattern for the beautiful snowflake crochet. Thank you for continuing your “Sit and Knit for a BIt” podcasts. While I can imagine the podcasts are difficult to maintain - they bring much enjoyment
I love whatever you choose to do - knitting, sewing, cooking, gardening(I love the PyjamaGardeners!!!), thrifting, tutorials, whatever you have show or tell, and I really am not bothered about whether it's live or recorded. I am happy to see you gentlemen in whichever format works for you! Thankyou for another wonderful visit!!
I enjoy the pre-recorded version much more. The live version involves a lot of blank spaces while viewers' messages are read. Love you guys. You light up my life. XXXX XXXX ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Lives are fun for those who can attend live, but watching the interactions after the fact is not my thing. Prerecorded is great for all time zones to watch as able. This one was great! Love how you share yourselves, and your projects. Cheers! Knitting here in Canada, but a small kerchief project :)
you guys are wonderful to listen to, recorded or live. i love when Arne discovers childhood crafts, old books that belonged to grandmothers, always ready to make new things from old ideas, love the crocheted snowflake sampler, love it when you go off topic and meander down another road.
I like the pre-recorded episodes. The first new larger bug with spots on the hind wing is a species of Tiger moth and possibly the colours are faded out (the darker pattern on the forewing is often black or brown and the hind wing colour surrounding the spots is often bright red or orange). I know folks who collect moths and butterflies and expertly prepare and preserve them as a hobby. The bugs can last a really long time when preserved and stored under the right conditions and done properly are seriously gorgeous and colourful collections! :) Thanks for showing us how fun and diverse your interests are!
Thanks for remembering those of us in the United States going through the heat waves. I hope those in the summer raining/ flooding U.S. are staying safe and afloat. Your weather sounds nice, Arne & Carlos.
I enjoy your shows EITHER way. You make me smile or laugh as you show us your talents. The Dolly Cake last week was a riot. Good luck with all you do. ❤ from your Canadian East Coast fan. 😊
I haven’t been making the time to join you for the past few weeks, but I’m so glad I watched you today. I’m missing seeing you every day on the cruise, plus I recently found a granny square afghan that my grandmother crocheted for me a long time ago that has some holes in it. You are inspiring me to fix it by relearning how to crochet. I love seeing Arne’s old projects being rediscovered, as well as the tablecloth for the greenhouse project. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and ideas with us ❤
I like prerecorded episodes best. You used to do just one “live” a year for questions. Also quite impressed with Arne’s embroidery when he was seven! And how creative to make animals with pine cones and match sticks. Tablecloth is looking really nice. I may borrow that idea from your pillow design. Thanks for stopping by! ☺️
The discussion of the VW manual was hilarious! Arne says “let’s collect old car parts to fix the Beetle”. Carlos”Let’s not.” Arne: “Oh, right, let’s not!” A “messy garage” to keep the “messy room” company 😂😂😂
I am in New Mexico and am new to you guys so thanks for the little bios. It is very hot here and I have no AC so I hide out in the house painting and knitting. I appreciate your videos.
I love watching you both live and pre-recorded. I don't get to see you live on Wednesdays anyway, as I can't get away from work to do so. I always watch your Wednesday loves after work, when I can relax and knit. As a member, I can get my live fix once a month.
Arne your grandmother was a wonderful woman to take so much time from her busy day to teach you so many things…I had a grandma just like yours..however she only knit. and tried to teach me without patterns which I found very difficult…So today I have a pattern for everything…
Despite my best effort, I always seem to miss the live episodes. I am so thankful to be able to watch later. I am happy to take whatever time you share, however it suits you both the best. Carlos, you made me bust out laughing at the "bad kids running amuck"! I thought I was the only person that says things like this. 😂 My youngest granddaughter who is 7 thinks these sayings are so funny. I started teaching her to knit last year and she gets so tickled if I tell her, oh goodness, you have just run amuck with your knitting or we don't just do things all willy nilly. 🤣 🤨 Hugs for Freja! ❤🤗😘
Arne-- absolutely love the diamond embroidery pattern that your sailor neighbor taught you as a child ❤ Would be willing to purchase instructions for that pattern if you ever get them written out. Also loved the old cook book of your Grandmothers that you came across-- hope you find a good holiday recipe to prepare and that we get to watch 😊 Thanks for your commitment to your followers--- enjoy everything you post!
I love the idea of the crocheted blanket for Christmas. Good I love it. Arne your shirt looks so fun. You two are so fun and so entertaining. I 😂am giggling with the VW book😮 sure fits my engine experience. 😊
Another great episode of SAKFAB! I usually can't watch the live ones so I always watch them later that day or the next if I can. Arne your embroidery that you did as a child is amazing and you have so much skill that you have learned over the years.....just amazing! Carlos I am a slow knitter as well and my scarf has gone into hibernation as I have a puppy right now to train but normally I would be knitting or crocheting on something as I like to keep my hands busy! I love that you will be including crochet shorts now also! Thank you both for sharing so much with us!
Omg it would be a dream to get a surprise package of creative joy.Your jacket came out amazing. Your SpongeBob shirt is the coolest. I am in love with the cardigan pattern.I want to do mine with pinks and maybe yellow cream as a background. I want it to look like Victorian wallpaper. Sorry I ramble. I am happy for you that your room is beautiful. I feel your pain for space. I love in London in a 18th century cottage. No room for anything. Your extension sounds like a dream. ❤
Recorded or Live, whatever works best for you two. I love seeing all of Arne's treasures. How many storage rooms/offices does he have? I can see your home becoming a wonderful museum - just for the two of you. Love the PJ Gardeners short videos. Thanks for sharing.
That’s a very nice sweater and pretty buttons. Love watching your videos. Recorded or live makes no difference to me. Love the Sponge Bob tshirt lol Yeah don’t you love renovations…
I ran into a knitter at a local festival in Ontario Canada and she had three skeins of locally spun yarn in a dark red, ferny green and cream and said she was getting it for a stocking, I was going to ask but she said before I could " it's for the Arne and Carlos stocking this year". Her colors were so perfect I look forward to seeing it finished. As always love the sit and knit.
Dear Carlos and Arne, life or not it is such a good time to look at your podcast. And this one Carlos you are so funny when you loose a stitch. Please loose one, ones every now and then. 😊❤
I love watching you gents and will take whatever I can get--you are so entertaining and inspiring! I love that you share your "fails" as well as you stunning successes. The snowflake UFO is lovely! The idea of making a "Franken-Beetle" from old spare parts! I love the tablecloth idea, too. So, live or pre-recorded? I am at work when you are live, so it is all the same to me. Your posts are never bad. Thank you for sharing!
I like SAKFAB both ways, live and recorded. The crochet snowflake will look fabulous in varying shades of blue (ice/water colour) on a Christmas white background. I enjoy all your podcasts, thank you for continuing them.
Whichever format fits into your schedule is wonderful. I rarely can watch “live”. The peacock pattern worked beautifully for me. I always have to knit lace slowly for the first few repeats . Visualizing the pattern using charts is so much easier for me. I even used peacock colored yarn from an estate sale. (I assume it’s from a dead lady, but it might be from a dead gentleman 😊). I also bought her collection of patterns and notes from workshops!!
I prefer the prerecorded versions better then the life versions. And it’s so nice to see how you guys see something creative in the most mondaine things. Very inspiring 😊
This episode sparked many thoughts! - When ‘panic cleaning,’ my family calls it “stash and dash.” 😆 - My grandmother’s cookbook had a recipe for a much smaller animal: Squirrel Stew 🤢 - Although the stitches aren’t as pretty as Arne’s, the wall-hanging reminds me of two klokkastrenger (had to do some research to discover that word!) I bought during our Norway thrift store adventures over the last couple of weeks - And lastly, charts in a pattern are great, especially when you’re left-handed and the results of instructions come out backwards and nothing lines up (found out more than once the hard way!)😆
I’ll be watching no matter how you record👍🏻 I love how you complement one another..a fast knitter, a slow knitter…it’s all good. Arne I have a round dining table and can’t wait to make the butterfly tablecloth for it🤗
I would love to see the afghan in red, green and white colors or even different shades of blue and white. I love to watch but I'm rarely able to watch you live so recorded is good with me. Just please don't stop making the videos!!!!
Gentlemen , I am new to knitting and your channel. Last night I sat knitting and listening to you whilst practicing the Irish Moss Stitch . I could not get it right. Then Arne spoke about going back to the pattern to find the mistake and so I did. I had written the instructions wrong. I have now mastered the Stitch. Thank you. Your latest subscribers. Anthony
Do what is best for you, I like everything you do! I'm watching the reruns for the same reason, I love everything you do!!! As usual, today was hilarious, I was laughing so much...
Arne’s embroidery from when he was 7 is fantastic- and I agree with Carlos that the lines of the visible canvas makes it look quilted. Love watching you two - always entertaining 😊
It's clear Arne is a designing genius. 7 years old and that embroidery is amazing. Even the Volkswagen book - who looks at a 'fix it' manual and sees something to color? I had something called 'Tago' blocks when I was a young kid. I'd spend hours building cottages, parking garages, houses modeled after those of Frank Lloyd Wright (until I found out what a creep he really was). I think Arne should open up his studio as a museum.... I'm a slow knitter too, but it all comes out the same in the end. Your knitting is beautiful too Carlos.
In the 1960's, I bought that Volkswagen book for my father for Christmas. I thought it was a joke book. He used that book for 15 years to keep his Volkswagen alive!!! Who knew?!?!?
Re the Peacock scarf. I am enjoying making one of these scarves and have thoroughly enjoyed following the pattern which Is so perfectly written. It just works! Thank you x
I have been knitting like mad this summer! I am obsessed with all the summer knits and all the summer yarns; linen, cotton and silk! But I am definitely thinking of my woolly winter knitting plans so I need to make the switch soon so they'll be ready when the cold weather returns but its been so hot and these summer projects knit up so fast, its hard to make the switch back to wool at the moment! Thank you for another wonderful episode Arne and Carlos! I always look forward to sitting and knitting for a bit while catching up with y'all!
That’s really neat. You know the history of of our house- train station. That is awesome. People in America made a silo into a house, large barn, and other things.
Please please don,t change the beautiful work you made when you were a child, it is beautiful. How talented you were as such a young child. From Christine (an English grandmother)
I;m happy with pre-recorded. The live streams are at a time when I am often busy in the kitchen so I have to watch them later anyway. I so enjoy your broadcasts however you do them. There's always something for me to learn, or a new idea and often something to make me laugh too. xx
I love watching you - either live or prerecorded. I haven’t knitted a lace pattern in years and I tried following the written instructions - that’s where I made mistakes. Switched to the chart - so easy to follow. I’m on my fifth ball of wool and 20th repeat - loving it 😍 ❤
Carlos I’m not surprised you can’t remember you do so much and so many UFO s ha! Ha! Love colourful crochet and article you did when you where 7 years old it’s amazing! I’m busy with my house work been done and it’s like opening can worms ha! Ha! Thank you as always pleased to see you at any time! Hugs & xx 😘
Either live or recorded I just love watching. Arne- your childhood embroidery is gorgeous! I can’t wait to try the fall cardi. I haven’t done intarsia in years
Pre-recorded is fine with me…and an occasional live is fun! You do what makes sense to you - I’ll be delighted either way :) have fun, enjoy yourselves !
I totally agree with you. 🧶
I ❤agree❤️you do what make sense to you
I do enjoy sitting in my sunny patch on our veranda listening to you two chatting away about this and that. It's like having friends over for tea.
I will watch live. I will watch taped . I will watch shorts ( with or without shorts ) I will watch pajama gardener. I love all the content! Now I have crochet to look forward to. Thanks so much!! ❤
With life being so busy and in different time zones, the prerecorded sit and knit is better. It is more relaxing big time!!!
Oh my Word ! Arne , the embroidery you did as a child is simply stunning ! The snowflakes crochet is beautiful too. xxx
Arne, your embroidery on canvas from your childhood is cool. Hearing about your creative childhood , playing with pine cones and what nature provided is great 😊.

I like both live and prerecorded!! I just enjoy seeing y'all every week!!!
I think that blanket would be beautiful as a Christmas afghan!!!
Thank you!
I love watching whether live or taped! I tend to re-watch often because your videos are so very wonderful. :)
Love the crochet patterns

Pre recorded is fine by me. You probably get less distracted but I’m grateful for anything!
I enjoy the pre-recorded version much more. The live version involves a lot of blank spaces while viewers' messages are read. Love you guys. You light up my life. XXXX XXXX ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Lovely episode as always. Love all the shorts. So many wonderful things coming.
Your steeking videos are what helped me make my first sweater.
Lives are fun for those who can attend live, but watching the interactions after the fact is not my thing. Prerecorded is great for all time zones to watch as able. This one was great! Love how you share yourselves, and your projects. Cheers!

Arne, I so admire that you have the memory of doing the embroidery with the sailor 🙂
Arne your grandmother was a wonderful woman to take so much time from her busy day to teach you so many things…I had a grandma just like yours..however she only knit. and tried to teach me without patterns which I found very difficult…So today I have a pattern for everything…
Fun! Enjoyed watching while I put my Mother's childhood charms from her vacation in Mexico, in 1940, on a satin cord; a new necklace!
I love watching you both under any circumstances. You have so much style and presence. ❤
I love the taped shows much more. They feel more relaxed.
Love your shirt, Arne
The butterflies....beautiful. My grandfather used to make arrangements of dried flowers like that. They were from the same era... early 1900s.
Despite my best effort, I always seem to miss the live episodes. I am so thankful to be able to watch later. I am happy to take whatever time you share, however it suits you both the best.

I LOVE 😍 the colours you have chosen for the cardigan in Norwegian wool! ❤
It’s NEVER too hot to knit! I’m working on a summer tee, but also your Folke sweater, which I hope to have finished in time for the Iowa winter.

Oooooh Carlos that’s so wonderful you meditate 😃👏🏼🥰
Arne, your upcycled sweater jacket is gorgeous! You are a master knitter!

That's when I first found you - I have been following ever since. You changed my life...
I love watching you gents and will take whatever I can get--you are so entertaining and inspiring! I love that you share your "fails" as well as you stunning successes. The snowflake UFO is lovely! I am so happy to support your utube channel. An opportunity to give back to you guys as you have given me so much inspiration and education .
Love your videos live and pre-recorded, but I think I like the pre-recorded a bit more 😀, I will watch no matter what!
Really enjoyed your show. I like the pre-recorded presentations.😊
I prefer the prerecorded versions better then the life versions. And it’s so nice to see how you guys see something creative in the most mondaine things. Very inspiring 😊
This episode sparked many thoughts!
- When ‘panic cleaning,’ my family calls it “stash and dash.” 😆
- My grandmother’s cookbook had a recipe for a much smaller animal: Squirrel Stew 🤢
- Although the stitches aren’t as pretty as Arne’s, the wall-hanging reminds me of two klokkastrenger (had to do some research to discover that word!) I bought during our Norway thrift store adventures over the last couple of weeks
- And lastly, charts in a pattern are great, especially when you’re left-handed and the results of instructions come out backwards and nothing lines up (found out more than once the hard way!)😆
I’ll be watching no matter how you record👍🏻 I love how you complement one another..a fast knitter, a slow knitter…it’s all good.
Arne I have a round dining table and can’t wait to make the butterfly tablecloth for it🤗
I’m easy - I like both pre-recorded and live. I just really enjoy watching you both!
I would love to see the afghan in red, green and white colors or even different shades of blue and white. I love to watch but I'm rarely able to watch you live so recorded is good with me. Just please don't stop making the videos!!!!
Yes Please for the blanket pattern, that will be a lovely Christmas crochet!
I’m in Sydney will watch later not in the middle of night hehe! Thank you …..🤩👌✨
Do whatever is best for you and don't stress about it. You guys are so great, don't over do things or make yourselves I'll. ❤👍from Somerset, UK
Your work is beautiful, Christmas colors would be nice on the snowflake crochet work. Live or recorded is enjoyable ❤thanks

Welcome to both knitting and our channel Anthony!
Welcome to both knitting and our channel Anthony!
Love the little star mini-afghan. Spring or summer coloring or Christmas as you say. I am fine with whatever you feel inspired to do.
Do what is best for you, I like everything you do! I'm watching the reruns for the same reason, I love everything you do!!! As usual, today was hilarious, I was laughing so much...
winter can come I found that hilarious 😂 very funny xx you both are very funny at times
Thank you 😅 xx

Arne’s embroidery from when he was 7 is fantastic- and I agree with Carlos that the lines of the visible canvas makes it look quilted. Love watching you two - always entertaining 😊

I like live and recorded. Whatever works for you guys.
I just started knitting. Love you guys!
In the 1960's, I bought that Volkswagen book for my father for Christmas. I thought it was a joke book. He used that book for 15 years to keep his Volkswagen alive!!! Who knew?!?!?
Arne, I agree with Carlos about the embroidery! The lines between the squares look great!
Thank you!
Re the Peacock scarf. I am enjoying making one of these scarves and have thoroughly enjoyed following the pattern which
Is so perfectly written.
It just works! Thank you x
I love that crochet! I'd love to have that as a Christmas afghan.
love watching your videos! And can't wait for that exciting cowl pattern you're knitting!!!

Prerecorded is great and pajama garden ( in pajamas) and shorts ( with shorts ) are fun. ❤
Hi guys, I'm knitting a lot here in Southamerica, we have winter now and a lot of cold. Enjoy your summertime. Greetings from Chile 😊
I can never watch live only as Iam in Sydney Australia, do what is best for you. I enjoy all your work 😊

I;m happy with pre-recorded. The live streams are at a time when I am often busy in the kitchen so I have to watch them later anyway. I so enjoy your broadcasts however you do them. There's always something for me to learn, or a new idea and often something to make me laugh too. xx
Absolutely beautiful! That would be nice with shades of blue and white also, like snow
Pre-recorded is fine, and a lot less pressure on you both. I love watching all the ‘shorts’
I Prefer the prerecorded videos. Arne's joke about the shorts, was funny 😂
Hope the both of you have a wonderful summer🌞
looking forward to that cowl pattern! I'm frogging while you knit 😁
The "dead ladies horses", Arne, your so funny 😅😅😅
I appreciate that you keep posting, live or pre-recorded. I'm often at work and can't watch the live anyway.
Looking forward to seeing the various summer videos and shorts!😊😂❤ 🌸
That is nice to hear!
I love watching you - either live or prerecorded. I haven’t knitted a lace pattern in years and I tried following the written instructions - that’s where I made mistakes. Switched to the chart - so easy to follow. I’m on my fifth ball of wool and 20th repeat - loving it 😍 ❤
Love the ease in your prerecorded videos.
I do not like Live much from any of the podcasters but if you did it I would watch yours!! ❤️
