- In this game of Civ 6, we’ll be playing as Khmer as we get cracking with a lovely tall game with CYP’s Wide and Tall mod!
Civ 5 used to have an adage - settle 4 cities, go tradition, build tall. Civ 6 has never really agreed with this mentality. But can we play like that? With Khmer and Wide & Tall, I think we can!

Hot take, you should be able to condemn missionaries and apostles if you ask for an AI not to convert you and they do it anyways but only in your own land. Nothing leads me to rage quit fast than losing my religion if I am sleepy or don't have units nearby to stomp out the missionaries.
I usually turn into a warmonger when that happens.
I wish you'd have gone River Goddess. The perfect combo for mega cities.
Sometimes I restart the game if Imhotep isn't the first available Great Engineer. Beating the AI to early wonders is a usually a pipe dream, but beating them to a Great Engineer is usually child's play, and an early Mausoleum, Petra, and Colosseum/Oracle can turn any game into pure bliss.
Imhotep is always there if you focus on industrial zone and have spare faith on medieval era

I just won my first game vs. Deity++, and guess where Petra was: on the only desert tile of an AI city :D

I just started a Khmer game myself. My first 3 cities got +8 holy sites with desert folklore. Obviously I took work ethic. I got 2 cities with *amazing* Petra posibilities. Can't wait how your game turns out in the end. Huzzah! :D

Wondering if you're going to allow yourself to flip cities from Loyalty and keep them? Always a possibility since you can deliberately go Tall and the AI just sort of muddles its way toward it.
Not this time - 4 is all I need!
I remember a time I declared war to stop a religion spreading to my cities and ended up conquering a whole continent. XD

dont steal resources from the ai civs with anansi because it reduces your relationship with them. However, if you really want to steal from them, make sure it counts by choosing luxuries that exist in both of your territories.
That relationship penalty falls away with time XD

I know that generally better avoid shiny thing, especially with Poland so close to your border with a theological clash and maybe a war if things goes off to hand, but in "username city" you build (if not already taken of course) moz, Colosseum, kilwa and ToA if you place right.. Sounds good to me for a very rubbish city 🤣🤣

I hate the modded games tbh. If anyone downloads Civ 6 and plays it their experience is wildly different. They are bored within 50 turns and never play it again. Civ 7 is probably 6-12 months away. I watch these vids for fun...you have 400 mods that make the game easier for you probably because you are as bored of the game as everyone else...You have to go out of your way to lose a Civ 6 game...
It isn't a criticism of the channel.
You have played thousands of hours of a game...And probably have many hundreds of hours to play before Firaxis launch Civ 7.
im unsubbing because im tired of you just using all the gamemodes, the game becomes so easy with them as ai arent programmed to use them!!!!
