wow, did the pilot request a high performance take off or something? the acceleration down the runway, the time it took to take off, and its climb rate were amazing!
Amazing watching the colours change in the sky and reflecting off the engine cowling and wing leading edge. At one point the engine appears to be glowing red hot. Beautiful.
great view of the engine in action. I have always had a window seat each time I fly so I can see things like this. My favorite part is taking off. You captured it all. Thanks!
These help soooo much against my fear of flight! Yaaay... youtube therapyyy.... :p :) No, but really, they do! Just normal, beautiful take offs instead of catastrophe-scenarios...
US Airways no longer flies the Boeing 767-200ER as of 2/12/15. The final bird, 252, flew AWE767-PHL-CLT-PHL, ending 28 years of 767 service that began at Piedmont, and later, USAir, and US Airways.

THAT SOUND! ❤ They sure don't make engines like they used to anymore, this is a classic and beautiful sound.
Absolutely Glorious Sound!! I love older aircraft especially on takeoff!
Awesome sound, the seats in front of the engine where you can see the blades is the best for the sound :D
Nice sound from those GE engines!

Nah, they take off in 1500 feet at Boeing field sometimes.
Sweet one of my favorite aircraft.

Great work!
I've been on all 3 versions...200...300 and 400Er
US Air. Wow there used to be so many airlines in America. What caused all the consolidation?
Was the economy on this plane nice?
I feel old watching this video, US Airways and the 767-200(ER) are both long gone. And yet I feel as if they went out of service just yesterday.

WOW I LOVE US AIRWAYS B767-200 ♥

What's replacing them?
A330-200
Kevin Meno But American Airlines still does, and seeing how the two companies merged, they have 10 767-200ER.
American also got rid of the 767-200ER in 2014 (replaced with Airbus A321T) before US Airways did a year later. AA still flies the 767-300ER
+Kevin Meno Sad to see that cheap, outsourced European products are replacing fine American machines.
Sunset or sunrise?
Nice take off
Beautiful
That probably felt like a rocket taking off!
COOL!
no those are RB211s. Pratt & Whitneys have a distinct sound on spool up
These are General Electric cf6 80's.
PointerPride Aviation and Travel RRB211 engines are on the 757s
@@NVHSChadSheppard1 there are 767s with RB211 engines equipped, for example British airways 767 uses them.
Are this on full throttle?!
Is this morning
wow looks like a steep climb
why would they fly a 76 for just two hours?
packed flights getting people to their hub
High density route
nice
Are you even allowed to video tape wile taking off? Don't worry I've done it before:)
Nice
Wow the plane must have bin very lite it didn't even take a cuarter of the runway to rotate.

Rocket takeoff. Too bad these birds aren’t in passenger service anymore.
Could've been a light takeoff weight...
