I wouldn't call it the Roar of the Trent... she resembles the Roar of her father the GE 90... she always had it in her, but she always preferred to be quiet
GE manufactures CT (computed tomography) machines as well and when the machine revs up it sounds exactly like GEnx/GE90!!! I'm a radiographer as well as an avgeek and everytime when the CT revs up I feel like I'm in a 787/777!
Beautiful Safe, Clean and Green CarbonFibre Boeing 787 with two Yokes in front so each pilot can see what inputs the flying pilot is doing, plus Dual head-up displays.
Pretty short roll for a long flight. Definitely sounds like about 95% N1/throttle. Then again I had no idea KLM flew from Amsterdam to SLC of all places. Definitely long and thin so not the busiest route.
I am glad you all are enjoying this takeoff noise so much. I am here to try and beat my fear of flying. And this is where I would be thinking: "Is it time to start panicking yet?"
@@ethansaviation2672 so I mistakenly thought GenX didn't "whir" like that. Must be due the positioning of the microphone more in front of the engine then. :-)
The difference between Trent 1000 and Genx is the whirl in the middle and the RR Trent on full toga gives a buzz saw and a Genx on toga gives only a little and the tones are different rr is more high pitched and Genx is low pitched
Not too noisy, not too silent. Perfect engine sound
@John curiel The Trent 1000 sounds better.
@John Curiel The louder, the better😌
@JohnCurielSpade Stupid car guy
I love the sound of it but have you heard the 757 sound
@@Verztexit's kinda similiar with A350 (xwb) also
Wow I didn't know the GEnX is actually able to roar like a Trent!
Thank you for having pleased my ears with this gorgeous music :)

@@RaY_77W yep
Its buzzsaw is heard more if it’s at higher power. GEnx operators mostly have it set on lower power most of the time.
BRUH ! That is a MAGNIFICENT view into that engine intake!
That "growl" is actually buzzsaw!
Awesome catch. I found that the rumbling of GEnx engine is far less sharp than GE90 on a Boeing 777.

Don't forget the Greatly Engineered GE engines. Take that Rolls Royce
even better than the ge90. I didn't know the 787 could have a better growl than the 777
When the cough in the cabin is louder than the engine! Lol
*covid intesifies*
@@RoadhouseDeluxe LOL🤣🤣
yeah the 787 is surprisingly quiet.. when youre at cruising altitude the AC packs are literally louder than the engines
@@blur3253 I bet! Can't wait to fly on it.
@@blur3253I guess that’s why they call it the Dreamliner
I miss traveling
Wow ! Whatever airport this plane is at and wherever the plane is going the view from up there is amazing
I wish they sounded like that all the time 😍😍😍
A new type of smooth and amazing roar as well as thrust reduction of GEnx,, LOVED IT.
Thank you for sharing.;)
This is artistic, amazing engines!
Awesome video keep up with the great work. My best regards
Beautiful sound!
Same I said nice sound
Great video! And this view, just wonderful!
Excellent & Splended 👍
Nice video and the engine sound looks good I love B787 1:29

I love seeing this plane fly over my house into SLC but ever since Covid-19 started, I haven’t seen it for awhile. I hope I can see it again soon
Even if it was full power you didn't notice. Just shows how quiet they are compared to the 747 you expect a huge roar
To be fair, 747 has four engines, so more noises.
First time I hear a GEnx roaring
787 is perfect 🥰✈
Nice sounds
Beautifully shot! Schiphol is a great airport.
Why is it at full power, does Schipol have short runways?
I didn't know a GenX can roar like a trent
It does have a roar but you don’t really hear it
Lovely video!
yes powerful and beautiful !! dope
I love GENX engine

I'll take the electric-like whirring of the GEnx over the grating sounds of the Trent 1000 any day. 🤩
You and I are opposite people, ha. Genx has that GE 'fire siren' sound which I find annoying
Which is why I prefer all of RR’s Trent buzzsaws.
Genial!! nice video!
I didn’t know the Genx can growl like the Trent 1000 does, which makes me the Trent 1000 sounds better
Did the pilots applied the thrust to TOGA because it sounds like it is
Well it’s literally a scaled down GE90
It even STARTS like a GE90
With less number of blades.
why is it taking off so slow
Almost sounds like the PW400 of the 777-200 engines at first!!!!
So much quieter than the old jets
Seems quieter than the Trent 1000
Ahh the good ol' rwy 24 kaagbaan departure to the west :)
I have flown on a 787-9 with GENX
Me too
I did with the 787-10 with GENX and it was awesome
Ok
Top - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍🏻
Are you sure this not a Trent 1000?
KLM use the GENX on their 787's

I think the Trents are quieter then the GE's.
I would say the opposite, when it comes to takeoff anyway
