Chief Heart Officer... a leader that just deploys love in an organization. That's how you scale it! Great idea @garyvee & @vaynermedia. It takes a different mindset to recognize that people don't have the same bounce back that you do, so to care enough about the team you're building speaks volumes. much respect

This may have been one of my favourite DV's. The beats, the message, the finesse of DRock. And the story - the build up of it all to the conclusion at the end was masterful and so fucking compelling. 💯

Gary this DV031 is amazing! When I operated my deli in South Philadelphia, I had similar initiatives that Vayner uses. Like my people having a paid day off on their birthday, or paying them for holidays off or their vacation time. In most cases the employees made more than I did. We were a small deli/steak shop. These kinds of things are not practiced in small business, at least not in my 24 years of work experience. I unfortunately had to close up shop, due to personal hardships. That's ok because if I didn't I wouldn't be where I am today. The beauty of these types of actions is that; when I would call on some of these individuals even after we closed, they would help me in any way. What that tells me is that I actually impacted them to want to give backs. Thank You for taking this mentality & doing it on scale. By treating people the way that they DESERVE to be treated.
Much love & prayers to your family & your journey to changing people's lives & buying the J-E-TS Jets! Louis Panza

Gary this is my favourite DailyVee so far. I worked for a company for years and hustled for a egotistical man who coveted me and manipulated my emotions to use my talent for personal gain. Sounds very dark but there's a lot of layers to it. You scared me at first because there is a passion for your job that I saw in him in you. I was afraid of investing my time and attention in your content. But in this episode you've given me hope that there are great leaders out there and it is possible to start a company that cares about their employees and makes the effort. You're the real deal I see it. My company is in R&D phase but I can't wait for one day to shake your hand and sit next to you at a conference or even in business and thank you personally for giving me the confidence I needed to see in myself to start building my own empire. I'm quiet on social right now... its percolating

This is great, the culture you have at your company, and putting people first, it's the kind of stuff you hope for in businesses but never really see it in 99% of them. So I'm glad to see this in practice and will love to see how it works out and will definitely be adopting this philosophy when my time comes to own my own business

Hey Gary, awesome stuff. This is literally the first time I'm putting myself out there. I love your content bcoz I think it's (in my case) probably 10 years of starting a business + introspection crunched and delivered today. I inherently think about business (and run it) the way you do but hearing you and seeing you do it has allowed my to stick to my way and not get disheartened by insanity that is going on in Startup world. You're impacting lives, please do not stop.

GREAT Message, as always. (Nicely shot and edited video also!)
No company, not a SINGLE one I had ever worked for, had this kind of emotional, 'people first' philosophy with their employees. Quite simply, they just didn't give a shit if you lived or died. All they cared about was profits, whether or not you turned in your tech packs or approved samples. It was just about being the BEST machine we could possibly be.

Gentlemen ... G&D you're both breathtaking‼️ As someone who has seen your work grow together from the get it is stunning how fluid and powerful these DAILYVEE's are becoming. The ego side of me says you're making this series just for Chefy Liz- this is how I learn best, by studying human behavior. The DOING (including EP 30) that is taking place in each EP coupled with DROCK's emotional storytelling kills me each time!
DAILYVEE 31 HR❤️ could easily be packaged and gifted or sold at every HR conference around the world. It is the blueprint of a new standard in biz that needs to be celebrated and duplicated around the world.
Fortunately with the parents and grandparents I've been gifted along with The Ritz Carlton, Marina Del Rey I know exactly how special it is to make people feel special in the work environment. I can't wait to do this in my own biz‼️❤️👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🔥🔥🔥❤️

Nice one GV. I was thinking about the idea of the 5min meetings with every staff member you have, to make that relatable to me, that would be similar to me meeting every single one of my Facebook friends, which would mean 54 hours of back to back 5 minute meetings, equivalent to spending a whole week of 10.5 hour days (with not a single break) only spending 5 minutes with these people. That really put it into perspective for me.
Also, I love the idea of a 'DailyVee' spin off where, its exactly the same thing, but starring other people and it would showcase how others work, and what drives them and allows comparisons. Just a complete cross section: Other entrepreneurs, stay at home parents, sales people, police, musicians, photographers, cab drivers, EA's, anything....

Now that I've made my 1st comment, I can comment on this particular video.
Agree (9.9/10) - I think you're spot on on company culture and I think it ties back eventually on the aim to build a robust sustainable long term business. HR in business life and Health in personal life are the 1st to be ignored during the growth phase, but just like health, if HR is not corrected from the beginning, can really make a seemingly high growth company weak inside.

Ok just sharing ideas, I don't know shit compare to Gary. I will try to
keep this practical and to the point. I have been applying that mindset
with my friends for years. So here are some idea on top of my head to
    help larger company.
    - Listening: Between
co worker listen and take notes. When they say my son is crazy about
Ninja Turtles, 6 months later it's their son birthday now you know what
    to get them.
    - Social Clues Everywhere: People
"like" on social media all the time. Food, Music, TV show, Dreams and
Goals. When you planed your trip 3 months ago and they said "When you go
there you have to stop at this little shop and they sell the best _____
and it's to die for." Now you know what to get them, watch their jaw
    drop because you remembered.
    - Your time: Pick up a
little extra work for them so they can leave early once a week to pick
up their kids, so they can be on time for soccer practice and spend
    quality time with them.
Also we are all going to go
through a ruff patch at one point in our live. Sickness, Death,
Divorce. Most of the time people just want a break from the bad stuff in
their life. Chip in and give them a day at the Spa or a massage. Just a
little something to give them a break from the chaos, based on what
they really need. How do you know, you ask and you listen, before the
    crisis shows up.
    It could something simple like
preparing a meal, and just take time to listen let them talk over diner.
When you help people become better human being and let them shine by
    definition they become better employee.
    How do you
do that with with 600 people, well the office is divided in groups you
let each group listen and note the likes and dream of their co worker.
So when Claude says we want to do something special for ______ You have
some clues to put something together.
    Have an
anonymous box, to drop ideas and clues for Claude to collect and manage.
"This is the name of my co worker and she really loves ______. " So
when it's time for promotion maybe she doesn't want money, maybe she
wants to see a show that has been sold out for 3 weeks. Now if you knew
what she liked you could have gotten her ticket before they were sold
    out.
So there you go, hope this help. Just trying to add value. smile emoticon

First track is Satellite by Madreal. It's on their UA-cam channel. It's the "Lil Wayne + Drake" track.
