    What struck me about this episode was how the Dr. Oz show was only a small part of your day. If I was featured on Dr. Oz, I would take the rest of the day off to celebrate and pat myself on the back. After all, I got a lot done that day. To see you not miss a stride and take advantage of every minute to work towards the things that are most important to you is ridonkulously inspiring. It's not my ambition to buy the New York Jets, but I do see how adopting at least in part your "frenzied" work ethic will give me better chances of my own personal lofty goals, even if they're not as lofty as yours.
    It's a numbers and chances game. If I call it quits at 11 AM after being on the Dr. Oz show, and you work for another 12 hours, you have a better chance of hitting your objectives than I do. You're giving yourself more at-bats. I love that concept.

      +Joe Gilder I must say I agree with you. I think that the inspiring part is exactly what Gary intents with putting these videos. It certainly gains trust, even just by the fact that people get to see a real person. I must say I have been learning and I am grateful.

      Yasss! If more people had an immigrant work ethic there would be more successful people!

    • @ShanikaJourney
      @ShanikaJourney 8 років тому +1

      +Curva Lish I don't think it's really an immigrant work ethic. People have got to believe in themselves more that they are very capable of achieving the success they really want. They're are alot of people who work hard, but aren't rich and successful. To me, hard work combined with purpose, belief, and faith in you vision is the real combination.

    • @CurvaLish
      @CurvaLish 8 років тому

      +Shanika Journey I hear ya; we can all name lots of components (all which are well documented) that create success and happiness. My comment was directly tied to the topic of this video: working hard is apart of Gary's success combination and unfortunately, most people don't. So my comment about working like an immigrant is from being a long time fan of Gary and him mentioning how many people don't have the work ethic...which is his purpose of starting the daily videos following him.

    I am standing in a train right now on my daily commute and I feel I am seeing a lot of people who gave up or don't believe they can do something that they love.

    Without a doubt, I know I can't work on your level because the things I'm trying to make happen involve a lot less, but I'm trying to help others figure out how to work smarter and more efficient. It's a nice relaxing moment watching these and realizing that I'm getting upset at myself by taking the time and devoting attention to these when I could do another sketch. When I could figure out a little more of the plot of my next book. When I could get some work in...but then I remember giving you a little attention has been paying great dividends just the last few months! Cheers Gary, all the best :)

    I imagine that DailyVee is for many, the experience that was provided to you growing up in your father's business. The ability to see in motion (as you talked about in the end) the process of building something, what it takes, what it costs, what it needs to be maintained. This episode struck me with the narrative you are consistently providing to those you meet with throughout the day. Ironically, the guy who is so open about his lack of a love affair with traditional education growing up seems to spend most of his day educating, us, your staff, clients, etc. It's definitely inspiring!

    I got Gary Vee hooked less than a year ago. First watched your USC video. You've been sending the same message every fucking time. Be consistent in what you say and how you act. Be an authentic version of yourself. That is what I have taken from Daily Vee, SnapChat, Ask Gary Vee Show, and many presentations. More Human is about reverse engineering the process to become an authentic version of yourself. Same thing, I just use movement and nutrition. Much to learn on my personal journey and i'm fucking stoked at the opportunity I have to learn from you and VaynerNation!!! Keep killing it!

    Episode 019 is out, and this is still the most powerful ending so far. Great message and production Gary & Drock! 'I do me, you do you.'

    Great video. Love how nonchalant you are about going on TV, literally just another part of your day's activities. You are showing us the realism, which is cool to see. Thanks again.

    "Create the cadence and style..." - I feel you, Gary. This is very logical and I can't wait to see what type of content you push!
