How to fix a noisy toilet after flushing

If your toilet is making an unwanted noise after flushing it's a sign that the fill valve is going bad and needs to be replaced. While some fill valves can be repaired in the field we typically just opt to replace them.

I have the same problem, I just replace the toilet fill valve seal and it worked. Try that first before you replace the whole fill valve to save money.. it’s very easy to replace the fill valve seal.

Don't buy Mansfield toilets- their fill valves are junk. I'm on my third one in two years. Planning on replacing the toilet with a better brand.

Nice, question when I flush my toilet and it refills it make like sound like it's refilling over and over until it reach the top? Any idea what could cause that.. just started happening out of nowhere

Mine did the same, the flapper at the bottom of the tank wouldn't close. It would get Hung up on the chain that held it up.
