I felt the same way about Mykonos. That initial town section was the most detailed and polished part of the game, it was gorgeous and the questline there actually gave me a real feeling of loss after it was finished. I wish I could go back and experience that island for the first time again.
tbh memphis in origins was a better pick the way it blends in with the egyption religion the egypt temples and style both alexandria and memphis were quite unique but memphis is actual in my opinion the most wel designed in all ac games
City-wise Syndicates London is by far my favorite. I managed to wander around in the city 3 years ago especially in Westminster without much help of Google maps just because of the detailed ingame experience
I have a soft spot for Cyrene in Origins. It looked amazing! In Odyssey, it’s difficult because the game is overloaded with great scenery. It’s insane. For Valhalla, it’s close between Jorvik and Winchestre.
Mykonos was terrific, but In terms of underrated cities, and i'm surprised not many people mentioned it, I have to give points to Korinth from AC Odyssey.
One city I really enjoyed was Memphis from Origins. There's something about the closely-packed buildings and narrow, watery streets that feels so fun to parkour across, even in a game with de-emphasised parkour like Origins. It's also really cool how sinister it is when you first get there, before the curse is lifted.
I’ve never got into AC series until now and main reason I’ve gotten into series was the accuracy of the cities and local dev has put into. Historical events were also cool to see.
i was in florence and a few other major cities in italy last month and it truly is beautiful city! not only my fav city in AC 2 but also my favorite city in Italy (speaking as tourist)
I really like acre in ac1. I like the blue tint, I love that big leap of faith, I love the targets, and something small is the monks wear hoods so I feel like I blend in better with them
Same with you! I hate New york in ac3, but i love it in rogue because the city has a lot of strict areas, and the guard will immediately trigger... for ac4 i prefer havana and kingston... havana because of Parkour and kingston because of enemies' numbers... nassau is great, but it is kinda small and had fewer enemies roaming
I think I can consider myself lucky for having visited locations from every single game from the AC franchise in real life so far. It is worth to visit each and every one of them and see the difference between the game and the real city. If I had to choose my favourites, they would be Jerusalem, Athens and Rome for their history and landmarks. My least favourite, maybe Alexandria or Havana which are sadly not being taken care of, but still worth to see at least once in life. However, all of them are so different from each other, so many different cultures and with so much history behind...
I have two AC games: BlackFlag and Syndicate. Syndicate is the most modern setting and I just like roaming around in its industrial mechanical setting, and driving carriages around London gives it some GTA feeling :)
In AC Rogue, there’s actually two major cities, New York and Albany. And for those like me who live in Quebec, Percé is really cool with the very great depiction of le Rocher percé, which was less eroded in 1756-58 than in 2024
AC brotherhood was the game the intrduced me to AC and whole of GAMING back in 2013. I have played it more times than I can count and still think that Brotherhood is the MOST BALANCED assassins creed game that exist. The inclusion of Stealth, Social Stealth and Combat along with fellow assassins brother felt like we are not juts playing as one protagonist but an actual Master Assassin who can command a small army of assassins. The setting of Rome, The ambience sound we get for different regions, the characters, the story. Yes, they could have made it a little longer but it was still amazing just to play.
I have a question: What's your favorite Landmark to Parkour on in this franchise? For me it's the Pyramids. Sliding off one from the very top is so fun.
nothing can beat odyssey.. the map is so beautiful and colorful.. sea, forest, architecture, cliff, dessert, even a little snow on top of highest mountain.. that big map is so worth it to explore.
Just wanted to point out that AC Unity also features Versailles, which is a city just next to Paris, where is located the famous Château de Versailles. It used to be the place where kings like Louis the XIVth lived.
for me, the best city in all AC game is Korinthia mainly because there's the temple of aphrodite. beutiful view. i literally legit spend 30 minute watching the city and legit run around the city for an hour just looking at the city from diffrent angle.
But it was a perfect tutorial area. I remember playing it the first time and I was stunned how beautiful the game and the city of Versailles were. And then they throw you into Paris which was just another dimension.
@@krixxusjg7452 That is a good point. Plus I guess the part with being thrown in prison and escaping is the first time we see Paris explains why we don't see the title drop until that sequence.

Such a good series of video games. Can't wait for mirage!
The city in Revelations isn't called Cappadocia, that's the name of the reagion in Turkey. The city is called Derinkuyu.
My favorite part of Alexandria is the library of Alexandria because Ubisoft had to use the`re imagination.
Man the odyssey is sick , the map is so beautiful and colorful , 😍
16:28 has happened to every one of us at least once haha
I play odyssey once a year just to experience the Ancient Greek world.
They did an absolutely fantastic job in recreating Ancient Greece
I’ve never got into AC series until now and main reason I’ve gotten into series was the accuracy of the cities and local dev has put into. Historical events were also cool to see.
i was in florence and a few other major cities in italy last month and it truly is beautiful city! not only my fav city in AC 2 but also my favorite city in Italy (speaking as tourist)
Playing Valhalla in the fall and winter just hits different
Jorvik is a great city, especially in the order hunt.
I'd love to see you and Master assassin play unity together and just go over (what place they should revisit or go next with the future of AC)😊
Messara was absolutely stunning in Ac odyssey in my opinion. Also the exploration soundtrack ,,Kydonia,, was awesome touch
Very excited to see what cities we can go to in Japan!
tell me im not the only one that cried or almost cried when they first heard ac rouge's main theme
Bro why did you have to play that Black Flag music for so long. Now I have to play it again😭
Konstantinopel in revalations was such a vibrant and rich place. It’ll forever be my favourite place from the whole franchise.
London from AC:Syndicate is still my favourite to date. Just so immersive and felt so beautifully realised.
I visited Florence because of Assassin's Creed. Wish I'd spent more time there, it's an amazing place.
In AC Rogue, there’s actually two major cities, New York and Albany. And for those like me who live in Quebec, Percé is really cool with the very great depiction of le Rocher percé, which was less eroded in 1756-58 than in 2024
Underrated city is Lisbon in Rogue and the way you have to escape the Earthquake was fun. Wish I could’ve had more content to explore that city.
Acre is my favorite from AC1, would love to visit Akka sometime in my life
That Iconic scene from AC2 still slaps
I have a question: What's your favorite Landmark to Parkour on in this franchise? For me it's the Pyramids. Sliding off one from the very top is so fun.
nothing can beat odyssey.. the map is so beautiful and colorful.. sea, forest, architecture, cliff, dessert, even a little snow on top of highest mountain.. that big map is so worth it to explore.
if there is something that Ubisoft does well, it's the maps in these games, they are beautiful
Agreed on kingston. Always came back to this city to fight the guards lol
Just wanted to point out that AC Unity also features Versailles, which is a city just next to Paris, where is located the famous Château de Versailles. It used to be the place where kings like Louis the XIVth lived.
nice Video bro.
for me, the best city in all AC game is Korinthia mainly because there's the temple of aphrodite. beutiful view. i literally legit spend 30 minute watching the city and legit run around the city for an hour just looking at the city from diffrent angle.
Good video👍
I just wish you would have showed the other cities in each game so we could compare.
Something like a brief clip or image.
There is also the Versailles City in Unity but Paris still wins by a longshot.
People always forget about Versailles lol, but yes, Paris still wins.
@@TheAssassinscreedpro I can see why with how small it is. I just remembered it cause it was where Arno was raised.
Syndicate had a great setting but I feel the story could’ve been better, London was great though.
U should do a rank of your favorite gadgets
Dead kings for unity had something similar to the cave system if I remember correctly it was done pretty well in my opinion
I can't wait to get my hands on Assassin's Creed Mirage so I can explore Bagdad during the reign of the Abbasid Caliphate.
Fyi, that "empty space" in Boston in AC3 is Boston Common. It was one of the first public parks in the country.
Florence has such a VIBE to it and I love it.
Missed opportunity to say "Let's leap into it" instead of "Let's jump into it"
