Origins had the perfect oppertunity for amazing stealth. But sadly the developers focused too much on combat and less so on the different stealth aspects of the game. The only reason I like Origins is because of Bayek, his story and Egypt really.
@@xAzrael_This largely depends on how good your predator bow is and the difference in levels between you and your opponents, but in general, it is impossible to eliminate a fort with just this bow.
saving this vid for later as i gotta go., but i gotta say, Mirage makes me happy. actually sneaking around. I really try to not be detected and have progressed thru the game with not many scuffles. its fun subbed and liked.
AC3 had the best recruits. while i still love the randoms you save from the streets in brotherhood and revelations, AC3 gave you a lot more options with them. they could shoot from roof tops, start riots, act as bodyguards when you walk into enemy zones, disguise themselves as guards, and you can pretend to be a prisoner to get past enemy checkpoints! that one alone makes them way more useful than anyothers in my opinion
I personally feel that syndicate had a much better and polished stealth system than Unity. 1. The ability to whistle 2. The ability to hide bodies 3. The cover system was so much better and less janky 4. The ability to assassinate from zip lines opened many possibilities for stealth. 5. Overall better blackbox missions (IMO) 6. The addition of the kidnapping feature was really good 7. If you say Evie's disappearing feature was weird then what would you say for Arno's ability to change his entire appearance into to literally anyone. Unity also has a good stleath system but I feel it lacks some of the key features from Syndicate ALSO NO WAY YOU PUT BROTHERHOOD ABOVE SYNDICATE!
Bcz brotherhood is also great, I have one problem with syndicate, if ssi indicator appear on enemy the character instead of assassinating he/she straight up go to combat
You’re fucking right, the stealth system of Syndicate is practically more complete with more possibilities than that of Unity. To say that it is better Unity is impossible.
syndiace’s combat is my favourite bruh, ac3 and black flag and rogue and unity all work the same too so i dont see how its bad because of button mashing
It's very weird how one of the least liked AC games have arguably the best stealth together with Unity, Syndicate and Unity had similar flaws but similar good things.
I think rogue is probably the most underrated ac game, and the stealth is really fun, especially with the rifle. But again, its just black flag with more.
No way Assassin's Creed 3 came lower than 1, 2, brotherhood and revelations !!!! AC3 just revolutionized stealth in the series PS: Did not expect Brotherhood to be in the 2nd place!
I view AC Odyssey as simply a more realistic version of stealth since you are fighting people on full plate armor and unlike in later games you are not trained to go for the efficient one shot kills but instead to be a soldier fighting dozens of people at once hence why you can’t assassinate everyone in one shot
the assassin missions they did in unity and syndicate were my absolute favorites. It seemed like they took inspiration from the hitman series and I had wanted to see that so bad, its what really puts those games at the top of the list for me, but unity more so for the setting and crowds. I hope they return to that style, a game where I actually feel like an assassin, waiting in the shadows, not a blood soaked warrior cutting through the front line. I do love me some brotherhood though. I loved that games approach to stealth, and it really tried to nail that 'grayman' stealth, hiding in plain sight. with many different options. yea it could be lame sitting on a bench but it felt appropriate to me, biding my time. That's actually something I missed in Unity, I wanted more of that 'social stealth' of sorts. It had hiding in crowds i think but that was about it. Also, that multiplayer in brotherhood was amazing at the time. stressful
I disagree with unity stealth being more polished than Syndicate, I felt it was the other way around honestly, Syndicate's stealth is way better and more accessible due to the newly added kidnap feature with that ability I never failed a stealth video while recording.
I agree. I haven’t struggled with stealth in any ac game except unity. Syndicate had whistle, throwing knives and the assassination missions were much better
The stealth for unity was so fun but it just lacked more tools to use and how the guards can detect you alot quicker an realistically. However, it kind of lacked polishing
This is one list where I'd be alright with AC1 being lower on the list. It's functional but but later games had stealth tools and moves like ledge assassination. The one pillar of AC that pretty much fell flat in AC1.
I was so overjoyed to see Brotherhood so high on this list, and even happier when you said it was in a close race with Unity, which a lot of people would say has the best stealth and parkour hands down. I give the edge to Unity, despite Brotherhood being my overall favorite, because of the unique ways you could infiltrate restricted areas and take down your targets. I don't know if it was rushed development or what, but the flaws Unity has killed an amazing future for Assassin's Creed. Rogue definitely should have been developed after Unity. That would have given Unity more time to fix issues, given us a better time gap to callback to AC3, given a major plot twist on Shay and Charles Dorian (rather than being dependant on which game you played first), and perhaps given Rogue unique gameplay mechanics as opposed to the copy and paste of AC4 that it actually has now. Plus, we could have gotten the Arno revenge sequel after Syndicate instead of the RPG games. Seriously, the Rogue/Unity co-release dropped the ball on so many levels in hindsight, and it is tragic.
AC1 has some of the best stealth in the series imo. Not only most assasination missions wants you to be stealthy it's actually hard to fight against enemies until you get parry leading you to be stealthy or run away from them using the parkour. AC2 and onwards turns too much into power fantasy with the tools Ezio and Connor and Edward etc. has.
i kind of disagree with Odyssey. If you put in the work, I think the stealth is great. Also I was one shot assassinating most guards or captains so it's about how you play.
The problem with Odyssey is that first you have to pick skills in it and second you have to be at right level/with right equipment. And that is a bit bad for game called Assassin. Im right now replaying this game and it is annoying that at 3 level i can sneak next to a guard and take only half of his HP because i went into wrong direction on map and im in section with 4lvl enemies and not in 2-3lvl. It is strange that you cant kill someone with hit to the neck because they have one level thicker neck than you :D and because of it you cant do anything in area that would include being undetected because you cant kill without being detected.
Even though you’re right, I just don’t care. I just went in there wanting the smoke with everyone and I didn’t care I was playing an AC game. I was legit having fun with the combat.
Ac odyssey stealth is extremely underrated, if you make an actual stealth build instead of being stealth with a build made to kill like miste people, you can kill anyone without being noticed, even if you dont kill them with the stealth attack, if you uses abilities that won’t throw the enemy away or make a ton of sound you can get away with it Also there is literally an item that duplicates your assassination damage by reducing your health to 25%, you can kill anyone with that but you will die if you get detected, that’s the more balanced stealth you can get in any ac game, a fuck ton of damage to kill anyone if you have enough Adrenalin bars and insanely broken abilities, but you actually need to kill people in an order that will allow you to regain adrenaline, and if you get caught or in an open fight you will most surely die, that’s great stealth right there In any other ac games whenever I get caught I just kill everyone, no tension at all
I think the only RPG entry with bad stealth is Valhalla (bc it’s broken). Origins and Odyssey allow for very fun stealth approaches. Mirage has excellent stealth. Rivals the best in the series. Looking forward to an updated video.
Valhalla stealth is very bad. Origins and Odyssey stealth is viable and fun. Valhalla tried to mask it's poor stealth with the return of "social stealth" which is just smoke and mirrors.
I think the best stealth was before Origins, and now we have Mirage, wanna play it to taste it all. Here's my opinion: AC1:The first one really has some stealth, but not as much as other ones. Like yeah, you can blend, but that's all. AC2:Better, can normally blend in, use smokes, or even people. You have more possibilities to kill, that's why I like it. ACB:Same here, but it added parachute, so mid air assassinations can be performed. Many new instruments, and many possibilities ACR:same with the ACB, but has zipline AC3:Made some empoverments, added bushes, some places like people near the wall, hide at the corner, even blend like you're tasting something. AC:IV:Same with AC3 AC:Rogue:Kinda same AC:Unity:Made improvements, added cover system, many other things. AC:Syndicate:Same with Unity, but kinda better. The main focus in my style is: 1) Find a good place to see everything 2) Make a good plan to kill everyone as stealth as possible 3) Flee if noticed 4) Run after a successful hunt
Ac1 had the best stealth, no over abundance of utility like smoke, sleeping/berserk darts, pistol, bow, etc. Just your skill in blending and not being spotted. Only range were the limited throwing knives you got.
Hey mate. Congrats on the quick growth. You're doing great! Didn't want to comment on the post incase I somehow won. Don't want to take that from someone. But yea man, you came in running and you are being rewarded for your hard work. Keep it up. Hope you make it to 100k in no time :)
Unities stealth is great...when it actually works. I've had stealth opportunities ruined too many times by the phantom blade glitching, the bombs failing despite being right in line of sight with the guard I'm aiming at, but somehow alerting a giard that isn't even on the same floor, or a guard seeing me through a literal wall.
true, often the enemy will just ignore the cherry bomb or not come close enough to investigate it, as though he's only scripted to be suspicious for a limited amount of time... if only Arno could whistle.
Evie with Stealth mission is incredibly good and she's better om most missions in syndicate but in all honesty Unity is the epitome of stealth and I love it
23:03 fun fact: you can learn that move in AC II in training grounds at Monteriggioni, alongside spear and heavy weapon special, gun intimidation and the most powerfull of them all: POCKET SAND
AC 3 had one of my favorite steAlth like feel. That is not proper English but being able to climb from tree to tree stalking a group of British was awesome
black flag was just good. one of the reasons for it was when you get detected in stealthy mission it would not failed beacuse you were just saw by one guy and not everybody got alerted
but the combat in Black flag was way too easy, it was significantly easier to just kill them one by one in combat. Note that the stealth is also ridiculously easy in that game.
I would rank Mirage over Brotherhood in terms of stealth. I'd also swap Brotherhood and Revelations' spots. The smoke, poison and diversion smoke bombs made stealth incredibly easy.
I think the worst stealth was definitely black flag, no crouching, standing up gets you immediately investigated, and hiding in bushes was just annoying
AC Odyssey atleast added a guranteed assassination option with the knife of walldun since it can one shot everyone that is at or below the weapon level. Meaning at level 99 everyone is one shotable. It's not the most optimum thing, but it's there
Because a lot of people still think crouch = stealth which doesn’t have to be how games like hitman shows but tbf Ubisoft done a terrible job improving social stealth to convince people that it worked. I just hope Ubisoft Bordeaux is going to pick up social stealth and do something with it
@@damndatscrazyyy940 I doubt that’s happening they’re a small company that was lucky to get mirage but didn’t do enough with the game. A small Ubisoft studio made Rogue and liberation but that’s it they were never aloud to anything again and they still just are used to help with dlcs which is probably what Bordeaux will only be aloud to do.
I just watched this guy best parkour video and I had to admit I really disagreed on everything. But I just watch this video and he is absolutely correct on every point this has to be one of the best stealth ranking videos of assassin’s creed ever.
Odyssey: wtf, stealth in Odyssey is best of all RPGs, it's just different. But I have to admit that it's really fun on a high level Black Flag IV/Rogue: would rank it higher, but ok Brotherhood: First, yes, but I would have ranked it a bit lower because the new OP combo kill system, which didn't exist in II, encourages just going into combat as a one-man army
If your crit is high enough in Odyssey, you can one-shot almost anything via stealth. I took out an enemy Templar that was 12 levels higher than me. I do agree with the other points about Odyssey, though.
So after I've played all of the Assassin's Creed Games i have to say that Mirage has probably the best stealth in my opinion. The level design is perfect for Stealth. There wasn't a single time where i had to sneak in somewhere to either kill someone or steal something that felt too much crowded with guards in a way that stealth wouldn't be possible. All the tools you have work perfectly and i felt many times proud of myself at how i used my tools and how i approached the stealth in a mission. It felt so rewarding. Untity is good but i has some issues on stealth that makes it worse than Mirage's stealth in every way. Like some places are unreasonably filled with guards and oh boy if someone sees you, for some reason they can call guards from miles away, not to mention that many times guards detect you too easily.
Assassin creed 3 hands down you could literally down a whole group without getting caught (I haven’t played remastered) edit: without superpowers I barley found out about the wolf thing
I can confirm after completing Mirage that the Stealth was very enjoyable
plus the throwing knives got a seriously good upgrade by getting a skill to slow time a smidge and throw the blade while in the air

7:25 PTSD
i actually think origins has a really good stealth system and perfected the environmental stealth of the rpgs
Origins had the perfect oppertunity for amazing stealth. But sadly the developers focused too much on combat and less so on the different stealth aspects of the game. The only reason I like Origins is because of Bayek, his story and Egypt really.
nah, every single scenario can just be completed fully with the predator bow
@@xAzrael_This largely depends on how good your predator bow is and the difference in levels between you and your opponents, but in general, it is impossible to eliminate a fort with just this bow.
Yeah, Origins' stealth is pretty underrated, better and more fun than many games from the pre-RPG era.
saving this vid for later as i gotta go., but
i gotta say, Mirage makes me happy. actually sneaking around. I really try to not be detected and have progressed thru the game with not many scuffles. its fun
subbed and liked.
Hey I love your content, pls do best gadgets next❤🙏
AC3 had the best recruits. while i still love the randoms you save from the streets in brotherhood and revelations, AC3 gave you a lot more options with them. they could shoot from roof tops, start riots, act as bodyguards when you walk into enemy zones, disguise themselves as guards, and you can pretend to be a prisoner to get past enemy checkpoints! that one alone makes them way more useful than anyothers in my opinion
I personally feel that syndicate had a much better and polished stealth system than Unity.
1. The ability to whistle
2. The ability to hide bodies
3. The cover system was so much better and less janky
4. The ability to assassinate from zip lines opened many possibilities for stealth.
5. Overall better blackbox missions (IMO)
6. The addition of the kidnapping feature was really good
7. If you say Evie's disappearing feature was weird then what would you say for Arno's ability to change his entire appearance into to literally anyone.
Unity also has a good stleath system but I feel it lacks some of the key features from Syndicate
ALSO NO WAY YOU PUT BROTHERHOOD ABOVE SYNDICATE!
True i enjoyed syndicate so much
Bcz brotherhood is also great, I have one problem with syndicate, if ssi indicator appear on enemy the character instead of assassinating he/she straight up go to combat
Yeah. I'm still not convinced that Unity's is better
You’re fucking right, the stealth system of Syndicate is practically more complete with more possibilities than that of Unity. To say that it is better Unity is impossible.
Goated assassins creed youtuber
Assassin’s creed syndicate had really good stealth but the combat system is not that good
Combat in syndicate just requires button mashing, that's the main problem
syndiace’s combat is my favourite bruh, ac3 and black flag and rogue and unity all work the same too so i dont see how its bad because of button mashing
in ac1 u can insta counter kill with one click and in ac2 u sometimes have to repeat the counter up to 4 times on a single enemy to kill them
Mirage has best stealth by far I think after completing it
It's very weird how one of the least liked AC games have arguably the best stealth together with Unity, Syndicate and Unity had similar flaws but similar good things.
My first assassin's Creed game was Black flag and then i fell in love with it
I think rogue is probably the most underrated ac game, and the stealth is really fun, especially with the rifle. But again, its just black flag with more.
for Odyssey you combine the Pilgrim armor and "Shadow of Nyx" ability you can become invisible at will, if that's not stealth I don't know what is
Exactly
@@nestormelendez9005 nope, I got easy just follow the UA-cam video and you can get it early on, then devote the points into the skill, and profit
No way Assassin's Creed 3 came lower than 1, 2, brotherhood and revelations !!!! AC3 just revolutionized stealth in the series
PS: Did not expect Brotherhood to be in the 2nd place!
Bro i am here before you even had 200 subs. Nice content keep it up
Legend!
Was mad at ur ac3 placement but then you nailed the #1 so perfect it can be forgiven lol
I view AC Odyssey as simply a more realistic version of stealth since you are fighting people on full plate armor and unlike in later games you are not trained to go for the efficient one shot kills but instead to be a soldier fighting dozens of people at once hence why you can’t assassinate everyone in one shot
Great video, fellow Assassin!!!!!
Man i always loved using the “crossbow” as well
i am still playing unity till now and i didn't get the same fun from any other game crazy how a game from 2014 can be this good.
I think rogue had really good stealth opportunities and missions
Really cool feature of Unity is that you can use phantom blade while doing leap of faith
Mirage is the best for stealth. You were almost right in your prediction. 😊
the assassin missions they did in unity and syndicate were my absolute favorites.
Also, that multiplayer in brotherhood was amazing at the time. stressful
Underrated❤
I disagree with unity stealth being more polished than Syndicate, I felt it was the other way around honestly, Syndicate's stealth is way better and more accessible due to the newly added kidnap feature with that ability I never failed a stealth video while recording.
I agree. I haven’t struggled with stealth in any ac game except unity. Syndicate had whistle, throwing knives and the assassination missions were much better
ac3 has recruits and ac1 doesn’t have haystack kills or roof ledge kills
The stealth for unity was so fun but it just lacked more tools to use and how the guards can detect you alot quicker an realistically. However, it kind of lacked polishing
This man needs more subscribers.
AC2 and onwards turns too much into power fantasy with the tools Ezio and Connor and Edward etc. has.
I 100% agree all the utilities make stealth more of just ranged takedowns
i kind of disagree with Odyssey.
@@Just_a-guyskill issue odyssey was better than origins and Valhalla
@@3levated_ivan831 so the fact that in the game called assassin's creed I can't assassinate guy who has one level higher then I is skill issue?
Even though you’re right, I just don’t care. I just went in there wanting the smoke with everyone and I didn’t care I was playing an AC game. I was legit having fun with the combat.
You’re completely right, he was just playing how he played assassins creed 1
Ac odyssey stealth is extremely underrated, if you make an actual stealth build instead of being stealth with a build made to kill like miste people, you can kill anyone without being noticed, even if you dont kill them with the stealth attack, if you uses abilities that won’t throw the enemy away or make a ton of sound you can get away with it
Also there is literally an item that duplicates your assassination damage by reducing your health to 25%, you can kill anyone with that but you will die if you get detected, that’s the more balanced stealth you can get in any ac game, a fuck ton of damage to kill anyone if you have enough Adrenalin bars and insanely broken abilities, but you actually need to kill people in an order that will allow you to regain adrenaline, and if you get caught or in an open fight you will most surely die, that’s great stealth right there
In any other ac games whenever I get caught I just kill everyone, no tension at all
Unity is a perfect Assassin's Creed Game, I hope they do more like it
I think the only RPG entry with bad stealth is Valhalla (bc it’s broken).
Here's my opinion:
AC1:The first one really has some stealth, but not as much as other ones. Like yeah, you can blend, but that's all.
AC2:Better, can normally blend in, use smokes, or even people. You have more possibilities to kill, that's why I like it.
ACB:Same here, but it added parachute, so mid air assassinations can be performed. Many new instruments, and many possibilities
ACR:same with the ACB, but has zipline
AC3:Made some empoverments, added bushes, some places like people near the wall, hide at the corner, even blend like you're tasting something.
AC:IV:Same with AC3
AC:Rogue:Kinda same
AC:Unity:Made improvements, added cover system, many other things.
AC:Syndicate:Same with Unity, but kinda better.
The main focus in my style is:
1) Find a good place to see everything
2) Make a good plan to kill everyone as stealth as possible
3) Flee if noticed
4) Run after a successful hunt
Ac1 had the best stealth, no over abundance of utility like smoke, sleeping/berserk darts, pistol, bow, etc. Just your skill in blending and not being spotted. Only range were the limited throwing knives you got.
AC2 or Brotherhood are a close second imo.
In slight defense of Odyssey, there is a flashbomb skill that does disorient close enemies but its still lackluster.
Hey mate. Congrats on the quick growth. You're doing great! Didn't want to comment on the post incase I somehow won. Don't want to take that from someone. But yea man, you came in running and you are being rewarded for your hard work. Keep it up. Hope you make it to 100k in no time :)
I appreciate that. That means a lot. Your content is stuff I watch quite often, so keep it up too
@@TheHiddenOne690 cheers mate. Try my best with the limited time I have.
Mirage has a amazing stealth system
Evie with Stealth mission is incredibly good and she's better om most missions in syndicate but in all honesty Unity is the epitome of stealth and I love it
i think some people hate ac valhalla cause is a lil bit realistic
My picks for best stealths
1. Assassin’s Creed Syndicate
2. Assassin’s Creed Mirage
3. Assassin’s Creed Origins
- regarding AC
Ac valhalla has better stealth in every way, one shot stealth, social stealth. All that origins doesnt have.
assassins creed iceberg when???
Unity’s stealth was not better than syndicate. Syndicate is the polish version of unity’s system and it had more and better black box missions
Syndicates parkour was ass
@@DarthRevan1712. Ok... but this is about the stealth, which is 100% better in Syndicate. Can't even whistle in Unity.
idk man
I would rank Mirage over Brotherhood in terms of stealth. I'd also swap Brotherhood and Revelations' spots. The smoke, poison and diversion smoke bombs made stealth incredibly easy.
I think the worst stealth was definitely black flag, no crouching, standing up gets you immediately investigated, and hiding in bushes was just annoying
I did play the remaster of BF so it might be different
AC Odyssey atleast added a guranteed assassination option with the knife of walldun since it can one shot everyone that is at or below the weapon level. Meaning at level 99 everyone is one shotable. It's not the most optimum thing, but it's there
AC1 is prime social stealth. The only game where social stealth actually makes sense. It’s disappointing to see it ranked too low.
You are totally right parkour stealth combat world graphics story an unmatched game😏
Mirages placement is pretty accurate.
I like the one where you sneak around.
you can have a great time using those sleep darts and the chain assassination ability in origins !
I just watched this guy best parkour video and I had to admit I really disagreed on everything. But I just watch this video and he is absolutely correct on every point this has to be one of the best stealth ranking videos of assassin’s creed ever.
I love your videos man
Odyssey: wtf, stealth in Odyssey is best of all RPGs, it's just different. But I have to admit that it's really fun on a high level
Black Flag IV/Rogue: would rank it higher, but ok
Brotherhood: First, yes, but I would have ranked it a bit lower because the new OP combo kill system, which didn't exist in II, encourages just going into combat as a one-man army
What outfit did you use for Evie in the syndicate section
I feel like origins’ stealth was really good with like completing the Roman akropolis or pissa oros citadel were soooo fun
Origins was fun the crouching the escapes and stuff, origins is a masterpiece
Valhalla has one of the best stealth systems. Never required, always an option. With plenty of tools to get the job done.
