One trick for the 85mph autopilot limit is to switch to Kilometers for the distance units. This will unlock 140kph autopilot which is roughly 87mph. It’s not much but it’s enough for me to keep up with most of the traffic in the 80 zones.
Also when you get your S3XY commander installed they have a feature to keep you out of autopilot jail with the latest update. It automatically turns off AP when you manually press the accelerator to get over 140kph then automatically re-engages when you get below 140kph. So that will help in the future.

@@CrazypostmanMost of the Francis BTC stations have been giving me 135kW for about 20-30 seconds then de-rating to like 30kW. Those BTC units are just junk and need to be ripped out.
Hopefully they replace them with the newer SK Signet units that seem to have been working pretty well in Belle Isle, KS Branson, MO and Muskogee. They’ve had them less than a year but they’ve already had more full power uptime than the BTC units have over the course of 5 years 😂

I've used those Francis Energy CCS chargers along the turnpike in Chickasha without any issues. Looks like the units were locked at 25kW for some reason when you visited. They do charge a bit slow (65kW) on my '24 Telsa Model Y using my CCS adapter. I usually need just a short charge to make it back to my house after going hiking in the Wichita Mountains. The computer does tell me I would have 5% or so left if I didn't stop, but stopping in Chickasha is good bathroom break anyway. Regarding the size of the Model 3, I did rent one in FL last year. I kept hitting my head on the door frame getting in, so I crossed the Model 3 off my list. The Model Y fits me much better with ease of getting in/out. I don't use FSD at all, tried it briefly (when it was free) but I don't want to have to supervise the computer the whole time. I would never have blown through a rough railroad crossing like FSD did on your vehicle. Wouldn't pay a dime for FSD, for sure. The other reason I chose the Model Y was it still has the steering wheel stalks.

in autopilot screen, you need to toggle “minimal lane changes” so it’s not often changing to the right lane. But yeah yours is the same peeve I have with the current FSD build: the unnecessary lane changes, the inability to plan ahead so it can be in the proper lane way in advance so it doesn’t get stuck in the wrong lane at the last minute and unable to make the correct turn or exit, its propensity sometimes to hug the curb, its inability to drive at the speed limit it’s reading and maintain proper flow with traffic. Hopefully it’s being trained with all the data it’s collecting and by the time they roll out version 13 next month, it will drive smooth, safe and perfect just in time for their reveal of robotaxi on 10/10. This week we should expect the wide release of Actual Smart Summon.

@@James-cq9dp Almost none of what you said is correct. The Model 3 will request around 90KW at 61%. The voltage of the car is not even a factor here. This station is capable of 350 amps so at 400 volts would give me 140KW theoretically. I did not precondition the battery so I might not have received full power Immediately, but like we mentioned above, I wouldn't have received more than about 90KW at this state of charge anyway. The car wouldn't have thermally limited to only 25kw unless it was much much colder outside.

Actually there are a lot of EV’s in Oklahoma, and Francis Electric has chargers all over the state, on US and State highways, not just the Interstates like Tesla and EA have. There is only ONE Supercharger in the entire western half of Oklahoma, along I-40 in Weatherford, as he noted. There are none in the southeast quarter of the state either. @@mowcowbell Oh that’s right, I’d forgotten about that one. You’re right, a totally useless location overall. The fact that Tesla has no Superchargers in NW, SW, and SE Oklahoma at all was the primary reason I did not buy a Tesla and got an Ioniq 5 instead. Add to that the fact that Tesla has an ENORMOUS hole of no Superchargers between I-40 and I-70 and I-25 and I-35 that makes a trip to Denver a no-go. Since I don’t live in NE Oklahoma, where all the Superchargers are, there is no real reason for a Tesla. It’s enough having to deal with Francis’s trash network as Postman showed in this video.
