Don't reel in your large live baits to "check" them. Just grab the line and give a little tug to see if it tugs back and is still alive. If you keep reeling it in and casting it, that will sometimes cause it to dislodge or kill it by slamming it onto the waters surface. Leave it sit unless you are moving to another spot. Sometimes it takes a large fish a long time to find your bait. Occasionally tugging slightly on your line will make your live bait active and attract large predatory fish. Just make sure you don't do it hard enough to tear off your live offering.

If you close your eyes it’s like your fishing with John Krasinsky.
Just his bait looks like my best fishing day
I just love how I can go fishing anytime I feel like it
I love this guy, don't particularly like watching fishing videos, but his enthusiasm, his "fish on" and "see ya later buddy", I'm "hooked"!! Definitely want to go fishing with him, definitely love watching his videos...
Gave me a trip down memory lane catching 17 flat heads in one night at the ice factory in Paramaribo, Suriname. Thanks for a great video ❤️
That poor fish being tossed to and fro to catch a bigger fish is like, "Can you just end me now for fish sake?"
"Holy cow - fish on - see ya later buddy".... 🍻
"See ya buddy, whooo this is a nice one..not bigs as the other 😂😂😂
Everybody have a drink when he says see you later buddy
I'm fuck as drunk right now
Take me drunk im home
Interesting video. I'll look for the next one but until then, see ya later buddy! 😁
Fellow 618 resident here
In the beginning of his vids he’s like “HOOKED UP WITH A HUGE FISH” ends up being a snagged carp
It happens to him a lot
Did you see the goose he had with him
Unfortunately
This guy deserves so many more subs he is honestly one of the best fishing you tubers I have seen
Check out ndyakfishing
Stop...
Nick even keeps his voice down when other fisherman are near, he’d make a good neighbor!👍😊
I've literally been fishing 6 times this month not one fish only the bugs are biteing
They are under a Stay at home order...
I went out about 8 times and caught nothing but then I Caught 3 on the 9th and then I I started catching fish again
@Soapy Sandal I think he was talking about the fish lol
Soapy Sandal that went wayyy over your head 😂
I've been fishing at least 50 and I've only caught two sand bass
Looks like you got the same fish all-time.
You say - see you later
Fish - sure
🤣
HAPPY THANKSGIVING NICK
When using live bait you have to wait till the pole bends alot before setting the hook. The live bait will try swimming away from the bigger fish making it look like you're getting a bite. Be patient and wait
Especially this big bait!
Disclaimer: there were no monsters caught in this video.
You’re fun at parties 😐
Yo yikes I u no no hi
It was just photo shop
You ain't wrong
Hey thanks for saving me time tho
I CHALLENGE YOU TO CATCH A 12 POUND BOWFIN
618 Fishing: “Poops”
“Looks at the poop” See ya later buddy😂
what is the derivative of COS?
This made me laugh to much
It seems that I was not the only one watching the guy in the background lol
The fishing is great! But your music and scenery pictures are spot on.
this guy when he catches a big fish: holy....
Me unfortunately: OMG OMG OMG I NEED TO TAKE A PICTURE
Edit: also the first fish he caught was the big fish i catch 😂
This is awesome!! Brings me back way back!! I fished in a town called Selkirk. The local docks where the place to catch cat fish. On the right side we had a massive concert dock dock to left a dry dock. On any day it was cat fish day! Beautiful fresh channel cats to monster yellow cats. I caught a 47lb yellow on minnows from Frizens store. We ended up 40 lbs of fish fillet!! Best darn fish barbecue ever!!
A day of fishing like that is something that only happens ever so often but that ain't a day to complain about at all
Top video instead of all the UA-cam drama at the moment more of this please well done.
Imagine if he was just getting the same fish over and over again.
OwnyOne
It’s like getting bad rates for a gacha pull except for fishes
Thats why he says see you later buddy
The same dumbass fish, lol
Maybe it's the same Fish all the Times... And the added Bait in his Stomach makes the PB's...
Who else seen his bait fly off n knew it wasn't on there lmao 😂
You mean the slip weight that hits the water too? Lol
Yeah I did!
Funny I’m getting recommended these videos the day after I start fishing
This guy wouldn’t know what a big fish was if it hit him in the face -! Every video huge fish lol
Dude spent his whole day catching the same fish over and over again.
Floating Peaks 😂😂
But he was getting bigger ones each time.
*the fish he catched : its free food!!!
Floating Peaks
Nope, he only caught it once.... different cameras mean different angles...
Lol. Sure does seem like it with the same pose afterward / float editing afterward.
It was super cool to see you save that fish on all that. loose. Line.
he might've been wrapped in that line for you don't know how long thanks again for helping this poor fish!
iagain helping this poor fish!!!!!!!!!!!💕
Use hotdogs if u want to catch bullheads thats what i use
Caught a 30 lb blue on a hotdog lol. Bent that circle hook like it was nothing.
@@MattTheMan22 daaang brotha heck yeaa😁😁💪💪🙏🤙 biggest cat ive caught on a hotdog was like 4lbs
chicken livers or shrimp have given me luck in the past as well
Using large live baits you don’t need to cast them out so far, be gentle with them, keep them moving.
Great day - great video!
Thanks and see und later buddy 😉🎣✌🏼
All these fish are named "buddy"?
Buddy the Bowfin!
All buddies are fish
Remind me to never go to this state to fish I never seen this man catch a big fish
I appreciate you listening to the subscribers
Man catches a bunch of bowfin, says "holy cow thats a nice one" every time, the end
Where I live we call them shoepick
Ive caught one that was 25 inches
Long.
@@yaboicrinklecut2165 holy cow thats a nice one
Here in Alabama we call the bowfin a grinnel. Catch them occasionally while bass fishing. Never seen so many in one place.
Here in SE Arkansas we know when you start catching grinnel/bowfin in the backwater of the Ouachita River it's time to move. Current and oxygen are gone. They put up a good fight.
My dad always calls them mudfish. Or recently hiden bidens
Dude where I work we catch 60 lb flat head cats off baby small bull and channel catfish hooked in the back weekly...it's alot of fun!!! Thanks for the vid...loved it all...def a great vid to watch in morning with coffee
I’d recommend trying some beef hot dogs for catfish :P I’ve had allot of luck with beef hot dogs.
Luncheon brand meat. Wrap it with a piece of braided line and put hook through. Also sliced sandwhich ham.
I caught some pretty nice sized river catfish on corn and homeade bait
Chicken liver or nothin
DJPJLezzGo ya something that has a lot of oil and smell. Chunky canned dog food, worms or fish that sat out to rot a little always worked
The goal was to use bullhead and catch a giant. He used cut up bluegill to catch dogfish. smh
and his non stop big fish was a lie.... dog fish get much bigger than 6 lbs... just saying he didn't catch non stop big fish and he didn't catch a big flathead...
@@Shocke89 but here you are, supporting his channel by falling for those influencer keywords, LMAO.
