In the FL Keys there's a joke about a Texan who hires a charter to catch something "truly epic!" First they hook him up on a big Bull Dolphin. When he lands it, his only response is "Meh, in Texas we have catfish that pull harder. " Then they get him on a huge Barracuda and his response is the same "Meh, in Texas we have catfish that pull harder." Then comes a Tarpon, Wahoo, and even a massive Marlin. Each time the Texan replies with the same response. The captain is fully annoyed now and turns back to the Marathon hump. When they get there the captain tells the mate to rig up a deep drop rig, drop it down half way, but don't hand the rod to the Texan until at least three Amberjacks are hooked up. The mate does just as he was told. When he hands the rod over the Texan is pulled tight to the gunnel and then he's almost pulled over. He's saved when the mate grabs his belt and pulls him back to his feet. The rod is bent into an almost perfect U as the Amberjacks pull as one towards the bottom. The reel begins to smoke as the heavy braid screams through the eyes of the rod. In just a minute or two the arms of the Texan begin to burn and his legs begin to wobble. In a panicked and cracking voice the Texan turns, looks up at the captain and asks "What kind of fish is this! A Great White!" The captain with a slight smirk, looks down from the flybridge and says "That's an Amberjack, but around here we call them Reef Donkeys." 😄 I want to see Nick get hooked up on a couple of huge Amberjack, Tuna, etc, or perhaps the king of all arm breakers a Goliath Grouper. It's not because I think he can't do it. It's because I was disabled in a bad accident and can no longer physically do it myself. Imagine what it would be like if one day you were told that most physical activities are no longer possible, including most types of fishing. That might sound silly to people who don't fish but you guys who are fully dedicated to fishing like I once was can understand. I made my own tackle and high-end custom rods for everything from mountain streams to offshore deep drop rods. I enjoy Nick's videos because his commentary makes it feel like I'm right there fishing with my friends again. Thanks Nick!
@Repent and believe in Jesus Christ Whenever some like U starts spouting scriptures, I'm reminded of Matthew 7:22,23. Many will say to me in that day: ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and expel demons in your name, and perform many powerful works in your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them: ‘I never knew you! Get away from me, you workers of lawlessness!’ U talk about what U do not know, and U never practice what U preach.
Beautifully done, Nick, every fish richly deserved! Thank you so much for taking us along on your adventures. Easily the most wholesome fishing channel on UA-cam. Looking forwards to many more videos to come! Tight lines, Brother!
Congrats, Nick. And to think I was there to see each and every one! Wonderful flashback dude. Thanks for some awesome viewing and inspirational fishing trips. See ya later, buddy.
Nick is my favorite person on UA-cam, always excited to be on the water, and even more excited to land a fish. He cares about where he lives and about the fate of the creeks and rivers. And the catchphrases -- we use them all the time around the house, especially, "See you later buddy." Oh yeah, and I have to say that I really enjoy the moviemaking (action shots, art shots, drone shots, scoring, and songs). Thanks for creating such entertaining videos, Nick!
Main reason I love this channel is its just so real . Little fish , big fish , no fish , we see it as it is . Its exciting to catch big fish but that don't happen every time ya toss a hook in the water . Enjoyed reliving these memorable catches with you , look forward to the next monster catch 😎👍👍
BEST FISHING CHANNEL EVER!! Wish i could have fishing adventures like this. Nick, can you have a fan fish with you? Maybe a tour of the US and fish with fans lol
What an incredible variety of fish you have in your area, minus the shark of course. Your filming and editing techniques are amongst the best I’ve seen on UA-cam, as is your passionate energy expressed in the excitement of your voice. I’m always excited to see what new videos you put out, but this one of your personal bests was amongst my favorites to watch. Thanks. Happy fishing!
Nick, not sure if people would like it or not, think they would. Chance you could do a tutorial type video? Fishing knots you use, line, tackle, methods, weather, and so on. I still use the GK6 knot for tying on lures (Granny Knot 6x) 😁.............Would love to hear your tips and tricks also. Anyhow, long time follower, love the content. Rock on Nick 🤘😎
It blows my mind how many of those pb's I remember watching on the original video lol. Those were awesome. Not sure who was more excited me watching or you catching it lol
And this is why you made the number 1 spot of my Top 10 fishing youtubers video! Those were some big fish and I hope this year brings even bigger fish to us all 😃
Man I've gotta tell you you've learned me a lot of stuff about fishing. I see you do a lot of stuff. That I would've never even thought about. Thank you for making all these fine videos I watch everyone.
Nick, I'm enjoying this with my 9 year old granddaughter who can't wait to fish with Gran. I think this is such a fun video to watch during during break. I hope you are enjoying your springtime wherever you are fishing.
Watching that grass carp on 2 pound test line reminded me of the time I caught a 14 pound channel catfish on my 4 pound test crappie rod. Absolute units of fish great work.
Hey Nick, Only video I didn’t see was the shark on a kayak. Your videography is the best I’ve seen, even the music always fits. Totally appreciate the effort!!
Also…. I’ve said it once I’ll say it again and probably will again: Best fishing videos on UA-cam!! It seems like you are really that excited about catching fish as opposed to some others who are just doing it for the hype. Thanks again!!
So fun! I’ve become a huge fan of your videos. My work IRL keeps me from really doing a lot of beloved hobbies like fishing and so living vicariously through you is a real joy.
So dope that you have most or all of your PB’s on video. I think I might have one single picture of a PB. It would be great to go back and relive those moments.
From watching your channel and the full videos on most of these. My favorite part was remembering different parts from each catch. So glad you did this, hope you are forced into making another one of these due to numerous new records!!!
Howdy Nick thank you for the video and all your EFFORT!!!! Keep it up there great. This was a very cool idea of yours, always the best for the endish. The Bowfin and it's music was GRRRR8. They are such power houses. Again thank you and Get Bent.
Your PB flathead would probably be your easiest one to upgrade, hopefully you can do that this coming year! Focus on keeping one pope with a live bluegill on it wherever you fish, it'll happen eventually!
Not a better fishing channel anywhere. What a great one nick.
Jon b🗿
Dude every fishing channel is better than this.
@@nickgrazianon-lethalassass7294 you’re just being mean.
I love how excited he gets when he's hooked up on a big one. "OH MY GOSH YOU GUYS!" 🎉🎉🎉😁
It has become a running gag between me and my fishing buddies, and it is amazing.
In the net!! In the Net!! Holy cow you guys!! ❤ 🤘🤘🤘❤

"See you later buddy" it's also his "trademarked" phrase too!

Love watching these videos! I keep an eye out for when a new one comes out. I’ve watched all of them, it started with tiny creek episodes.
Your PB flathead would probably be your easiest one to upgrade, hopefully you can do that this coming year! Focus on keeping one pope with a live bluegill on it wherever you fish, it'll happen eventually!
great show Nick!
Yeah that also really cool to see and have you recap your biggest catches
THE 23 POUND BLUE CAT WAS SWEET BROTHER GREAT CATCH
