bought the same one, opened it up to replace the green fuel line with hard plastic and found they had installed the fuel pump horizontaly,i understand they should be fitted at an angle so i repositioned it .
Have the same model heater, and a samsung s24 , and the app. The app doesn't auto find the heater, nor find it if i ' scan devices'. The heater works fine in manual mode. Any ideas?😢
Mine found the heater very quickly. Perhaps the bluetooth broadcast from the heater only works for a short while. Try disconnecting the power supply to the heater then reconnect and turn on bluetooth in your phones settings and see if it sees the heater
i bought this same heater, it worked great for 2 weeks then showed code 03 so i replaced the glow plug but still saying code 03, the app has never worked for me, the ticking of the fuel pump is not so bad once it settles, i would buy another but i think it will not last long, my son bought one and he got a different code showing on his, the motherboards on these are pants!!
It is quite a lot on start up it is about 10 to 12 amps as it varies. When it is in stable running it just draws about 2.5 to 3 amps. On start up it will drag a battery to 8-9 volts and if your battery is not good it will say low voltage overrun and shut down. My very small power bank with short leads will run it fine however
The exhaust silencer is the issue use it leaks. It is fine under a van in the open air but not in a boat unless you get it outside. If you search diesel heater silencer for boat on eBay you will find both a sealed silencer and a nice stainless steel outlet. Make sure it is well sealed and fit a carbon monoxide detector

I wasn't able to find an instruction manual for it, but you can do a search for Sunster A2309 controller and see what you can turn up. For example they have a bunch of videos on UA-cam: ua-cam.com/users/results?search_query=sunster+a2309
I just switched the heater on, opened the app clicked on search in the App. It found the heater, I clicked on it and it was paired. Obviously make sure Bluetooth is on on your phone

@@stevebeard9656 they all make that sort of noise once they get up to heat they are quieter. It is the price you pay for such an effective cheap heater

Are these safe to use in van setups?
I think so but always fit a Carbon monoxide alarm and I would not leave them on while asleep. Ultimately though you need to decide for yourself

Mine al all inside so not totally sure. If not I don’t think it would be too hard to make it waterproof

Once it settles down it is not too bad. The idea is to put it on push the temp up then switch it off. I would rather a bit of noise than be cold lol

How big is the fuel tank?
Not sure and can’t check where I am at the moment but I think I covered this in the video. In practical terms one tank lasts a very long while
