Good concept! I think it's gonna be interesting to see how he can do it. I liked the song, butI like the original better. It's gonna be hard not leveling up anything else, but you can do it! Great episode!!!
Always found it interesting that one of the bandits (at the camp near the Talos shrine) is sometimes chopping wood when you show up, yet the axe is never in their inventory. Yet there is usually one at the entrance to Embershard Mine.
On nexus they call that idle animations. Yes, this one is particularly interesting, because wood chopping is an unusual activity. I think I have seen hunters do that too. Or they are mining ore, but have no pickaxe in their inventory.
An interesting idea for sure. Would you mind if I suggest using an iron dagger for changing to unarmed due to weapon weight. Maybe keep a gem stone for good luck ... like a flawless emerald perhaps. Yes I did see the that the black robes were not there the first time you were looting the camp. I always loot in 1st person, much easier to avoid stealing if that's a rule of engagement. Third person messes with me too much.
You are right. An iron dagger would be even faster for the switch. But I need to be careful with the carry weight. This one will probably always carry around a lot of food and materials. There are only the 3 rules I mentioned in place: legendary survival, no follower, only conjuration. So Condrenn could steal, if he wanted to - and perhaps he will. Most likely. I agree that playing in 3rd person always comes with a high possibility of stealing accidentally. But I love to see my character and with this build I think I can.
Recently discovered this channel, and I really like it. I've been playing this game for 13 years, and currently on my 87th playthrough. I played Arena, Daggerfall [ never finished a game! ], Redguard, Morrowind, Oblivion, and now Skyrim. I much appreciate the 'challenge' style of play. However, I wonder why boon23 does not cook venison stew, beef stew, and especially Elsweyr fondue. The fondue is extremely powerful, and is amazing for all magic casters, as it adds 100 to magicka, and increases the regenerate rate of magicka for 12 minutes. I make sure that I have several fondues on hand if I play a pure mage build. Legendary to me is just lazy programing, and makes the game tedious, rather than challenging. However, I imagine Dark Souls fans would probably like it. The Bethesda version of Survival just adds annoyances to the gameplay without and real challenge, IMO. So I avoid those styles of play. That's just me. I always start the game with a character backstory, debuffs to that character, and my general restrictions for Skyrim gameplay: No paid training [ except magicka ], no fast travel except from and to hold capitals and owned properties; Dragonborn must be a Nord; Nords cannot have elf or agonian followers, and elves cannot have Nord followers. Orcs are an exception to those rules. I always use the Lord stone, and I always do the 'Book of Love' quest from the Temple of Mara in Riften. Those two things give me 40% magic resistance, and the stone gives 50 additional armor points well as the 25% magic protection. I haven't put any level up points into stamina in about 7 years. Potions and food will take care of that, and now we have the backpacks, so carry weight isn't that important as it used to be. If you grow weary of the 'stealth archer', ask me about the Stalwarts of Steel... I will keep watching this channel. I have subscribed, and I give thumbs up. Thanks.
Thank you, Perihelion77 🤗 You have really counted your playthroughs? Daggerfall is just too huge and a bit repetitive to ever finish a game, from what I have heard. I actually don't know if Elsweyr Fondue works in survival mode, but I will try and use it (as soon as I can get my hands on moonsugar). Vension stew, beef stew and vegetable soup are not working. They do not regenerate life. I disagree about legendary. Yes, the enemies are just stronger with more hp and the player does less damage, but that is true for exactly every difficulty level skyrim. What I like/love about it, is that it forces me to think about strategies instead of just storming in. Your restrictions for your game are fascinating and make for an interesting challenge every time, I am sure. What's Stalwarts of Steel?
@@boon23 Thank you for continuing the efforts of MajorSlackAttack. The Stalwarts of Steel: only up to steel weapons and heavy armor - no orcish, ebony, Daedric, dragonbone weapons or armor. It's so interesting, how this very game even without mods, can be fresh and exciting, when you play by specific rules. It can be roleplaying, strategy, lore, you name it. I like the idea with gods though a lot and will maybe come up with something.
oh, sure I can, but I would have to take off, what's in the hand, for example a spell. You cannot just take off a spell, but a weapon you can and with the hot keys this is pretty fast.
If you want to get conjuration up fast early game just use raise zombie in one hand and summon familiar in the other, raise a dead corpse then hit it about 4x when it attacks you just cast summon familiar to kill off your raised zombie
such great strategies to level quickly. Thanks, Jorge Ortiz. I don't have the raise zombie spell though and it's not how I want to play. Pretty much like casting soul trap on your horse. Skyrim is much more fun for me without that. But I might spam cast bound weapons.
Fascinating! When you say Conjuration Only, you really do mean it! Ha! I guess I just didn't try hard enough. Here I am calling myself an expert and don't knoew the basics 😅. Thanks for the great suggestion, Michael Klee 🤗. Are you a fellow German?
Challenging is putting it lightly, conjuration magic can get pretty overpowered, depending on what you're actually going to have as parameters, I mean you can literally summon a small army of daedra if you really wanted to, I think up to 100 Daedra at a time and also conjure your own swords, and technically you could have armor you would just have to make sure that you conjure it,. Which that would have been cool if they added those as extra magic spells.. like I said.. parameters.. there used to be doomstones in the world that would randomly enchant you with something in Oblivion if you found them.. I think they should bring those to Skyrim because that would kind of help with this type of build.
I think with the AE 3 is the maximum of summons. Could be more with the Ritual Stone in combination with the Ethereal Crown. I will not be doing that though. Doomstones? That sounds great! There are a few mods that overhaul the standing stones with new powers, most famous probably this one: www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/14910 Andromeda.
Doom stones was something that you can find in elder scrolls Oblivion, I didn't want to find something that could overhaul The guardian Stones, there's only one mod I like that makes them a little bit more OP, but even then it's fine the way it is. I meant literally something that adds Doom Stones, glowing red powerful stones that add enchantments to your character, such as a helmet, gauntlets, greaves, curiass and perhaps a weapon. If you ever played Oblivion you should know what I'm talking about.. it would add these Stones scattered across Skyrim, and maybe even be compatible with beyond Skyrim.. it's kind of an idea I had for a mod. But they were first introduced into Oblivion in the vanilla game. You had to be a certain level or me a certain requirement in order to use each of them. Some of it you had to have a level of fame or infamy, I think.
For real if you haven't played Oblivion then go play it for a little while, I've got my reservations on the game the only thing I really liked was the fact that it had the DLCs.. other than that I feel like I was trapped in a little world and it was kind of annoying.. once a completed the main quest there wasn't anything to do. Morrowind was my game, and Skyrim is my beast, there's so much more with Skyrim and the fact that there's so much more with the modding community that can be done that it just makes it so much more worth it
Raise zombie levels conjuration fast and according to the wiki there are a couple guaranteed locations. Of course the problem is something has to be dead first.
I will keep that in mind. Thanks for pointing this out. 🤗 Do you think it is faster than bound sword (which does not require hitting anything, just an enemy being around)?
