No, it was the Warlock's Ring. If you Block while wearing it, the Ring casts a Ward effect, but a weapon is needed to do the actual Blocking, that's why the Bloodskaal Blade was out that time.

I think the Slack is doing an OP run next. I am actually not interested in that, because it sounds boring. Sure I can play the game and easily get an OP character, but then nothing is a challenge anymore. This run would probably be an interesting watch until I reach level 20 and then it would be just going through everything with ease. I did an almost Solstheim region lock run with my pure dark elf: ua-cam.com/play/PLSOC3jQY0u7fdl3UIj9ZMqG2w6BbvSsLj.html thing is: a lot of Solstheim is locked until the player has activated dragons. I am playing pure vanilla. No mods at all. And of course I have been purchasing skill levels from trainers all the time. Where did you read that it would not work?

@@boon23 I shouldn't have listened to the Google AI summary, you are correct. However on my particular play through it's not letting me! It always says 5/5 trained even after I level up. Weird. Sorry!

perhaps the level is full. Try leveling up the regular way, then it should work again. And don't forget to sleep to level up.

uhm, what? I have no mods installed. So it is just narrating and commenting. I am using a few audio effects and here and there I am using original game audio that wasn't used in the particular scene.

@@boon23 Thanks for satisfying my curiosity. 🙂 Just sometimes when you read a dialogue option, then it gets selected felt like the normal delay of that mod's speech processing. If you've never tried it, you might enjoy it for a different run. Makes playing as a character with a lot of spells or shouts quite different.

hehe, well, I made an entire playthrough and also used the wiki and the Bethesda page to find everything. It is a huge update from Legendary to Anniversary Edition, but so worth it.

@boon23 it's definitely one of the things I enjoy most about Bethesda games. And why I've never really power leveled in any of them. The challenge, the grind, the progression to become truly powerful feels so much more rewarding when taken seriously and not skipped past.

Could be very hard to get to Brittleshin Pass at level 1 and be able to cast and recast an undying ghost. The soul husk is not a guaranteed drop. It could work though. Interesting.

@ It’s one of the first undead to attack you once you enter, a skeletal minion and a shade of some kind when the staff of hasedoki quest is running, the hardest part should be the mage at the ambush site near the dilapidated home west of Witerun. I think it can be done with undying ghost and save/wizarding

the easiest way to deal with that Orc is to bring some giants to his place.

Kiting is a super strong weapon against quite a few enemies.
