I'm looking to install these in my Vauxhall Astra (Not sure you have this car in America), I think it has just standard 6.5 size speakers in the front.. It almost sounds like an obvious answer, but do these fit in a 6.5? I've heard people say yes, I'm just curious if you know.. I'm also looking to amp them, and was thinking of using a 2 channel amp and aim to get around 150W at 4 ohms to each one, does this sound about right? Thanks for any advice in advance!!!
Spanktastic1989 sorry for the late reply but yes they will fit if you have room for the 1/2" spacer they come with. You can also amp them they love power
WIll they fit in a Honda? THe Honda Element has four 6" speakers but many have installed 6.5" and 6.75" with spacers. How are they with acoustic music? I'm looking at Focal and Hertz but the Kenwoods are easily half the price. I've also decided to go with the 9702 deck and the xr900.5 amp.
The higher end version have great mid bass and a smooth sounding tweeter. You will have to trim some metal to get them to fit because the Honda hole is not round.
Definitely the excelon version. Are those tweeters very directional? I saw a review which said aim these tweeters toward your ears. I wanted to mount them in the factory location but that faces almost directly across the dash.

Ali-Sleiman CHEHADE sadly no they do not come with the rings. They will fit but you will have to find a shop willing to sell you some adapters.

I'll use a spacer against the metal. Possibly an inch so the grill pops out a hole in the grill.

Mr La Kenwood makes 2 4 channel amps, they both work great
