Man, that car takes me back to my college days when I restored an ‘85 Camaro with the MPFI 2.8 v6. It was a dog, but I loved it. Later I swapped an ‘88 IROC 350 drivetrain into it. 😎👍 Loved the video!
@@keeganlangford5580 well they aren't so bad once you remove the emissions, open the heads up a bit, and get them a bit more fuel to burn. The LS wasn't always cheap like it is now. Hell, depending on when he went to college even the LT may have been too pricey. Anything is better than those 2.8 turds. Even the 2.3 4 banger foxbodies could at least handle a turbo.
2.8 multi port motor goes 0-60 in 10 minutes, downhill with a wind, and the local football team pushing. I can crack the joke, because I owned one some 23 years ago.
I'm not sure what the laws are in your state. However, in Texas, we're dealing with reproduction problems with the cat population. There is a catch and release program in our state to keep the cat population under control via neutering and spaying, as well as neutered alpha male cats can keep cat colonies from forming. Just some two cents.
Yess a Camaro and it has the 2.8 v6. I love those engines and never had a problem out of them . That's all I've ever worked on and drove . I had a 85 chevy celebrity 2.8 carbureted same set up as this car but automatic. Then a 92 s10 2.8 tbi 5speed 337,000 miles and now I have a 85 s10 with 2.8 carbureted v6 . But I sold the 92 s10 but kept the engine and might swap it into my 88 s10 I just bought cause the engine in it is a 2.54cyl and has a 5speed but blown headgasket so might do that . But I most definitely wanna see more of this Camaro can't wait lol.

Kind of reminds me a little of my Brother and my cars from back in the day. He had an 85 iroc-z and I had an '86 firebird with the 2.8 . Those doors have got to be sagging by now. They were some of the heaviest car doors in the 80's, lol. I miss that firebird. I used to recline the seat back so far I had to lean forward to see out the side windows, LOL! I started shaving my head in my mid 20's and now I no longer need to, lol.
