You guys are so inspiring, I've been in a wheelchair for 33 years since I was 18. My motorcycle accident was just one week after I graduated high school and I love what you are doing.
My accident happened in April… T11 paraplegic. I’ve been going through it, I’m back to living in my own apartment.. good and bad days. Hearing you guys talk about addiction and how easy it is for people with our condition to wanna just give up, not get outta bed, etc.. also brought a tear to my eyes. Seeing all the adaptive equipment is inspiring, I love your videos, I’m glad I found your channel. Thanks again ❤️
Richard I just wanted to thank you for putting this out there. My husband was disabled from birth with cerebral palsy and although he could walk short distance he relied heavily on his wheelchair. But what always flabbergasted me was someone looking at his legs, seeing how badly outta whack they were and still calling him a lier and a fake. Unfortunately his disability caught up to him 2 and a half years ago and he passed away. I to am disabled though not to such an extent as you or my husband. I still need my crutches and or the store scooter when I'm out and about. I can walk perfectly on some days, for a short period, but if I don't have some kind of support I'll regret it quickly. I simply cannot understand why people are so rude to disabled people or why perfectly healthy people feel the need to fake it. I am very glad you are sharing with the world what being physically disabled really means. Again thank you. And thank you for letting me ramble on.
Just randomly stumble upon your channel. Even though I don't have a wheelchair, I can relate to the feeling of being watched and pointed at by people. Due to my chonic illnesses and mental health issues I have a service dog. Toghether with my medical equipment I always carry with me my "invisible" disability becomes visible for the public. I realy stuggled with that for quite some time. Nowadays I know that most people are actualy curious but just don't know how to aproach someone. Your channel could realy help educate people and make others feel like they are not alone. You have educated me about people in a wheelchair. Keep up the great work. 👍
I like the toys, but the conversation was the best bit for me by far. The way you guys talked about addiction and coming to terms with shit was awesome. Honestly brought a tear to my eye. Thanks for the inspiration Richard and the email you sent me. Some days are a struggle still, but I will always remember your advice and I have been keeping things under control. Not quite there yet, but I believe I am avoiding a potential catastrophe by you sharing your story with me. Thanks man. Keep up the awesome videos ❤️
I may be completely normal, no injury or defect that has put me in a chair...I can walk and do everything a biped can do easily but I am so impressed by your drive to inform and educate everyone. No one is ever disabled...just are just more able as they get creative to do whatever they want. I've been binging on your videos and your enthusiasm and infectious drive to just overcome anything...yeah the world needs more people like you. Whatever you do just don't lose track of your inspiring others to just learn and don't give up! And as an aside to ANY one, don't ever be afraid to ask for a hand no matter the situation, most folks would bend over backwards to assist anyone, seriously.

The raw reality of this is amazing. I will keep watching and supporting. After I broke my neck it was such a shock.. I was stuck in the bed on a bed pan not out with friends and for an active teenager that was tough. Thank you for showing everyone who has had an injury they matter!

I had an Aortic Dissection 3 years ago and needed emergency surgery. I had a stroke during surgery and now my left side is paralyzed. I was in a coma for 6 weeks and my memory is messed up. I know how you feel.
Just had a stroke in my spinal cord in March at 31. I never even knew so many young people had strokes. Don’t be scared of anything, keep fighting. I haven’t been able to gain weight I’ve loss over 50lbs but there are exercises for us. Don’t quit, I’ll be praying for your full recovery April. You posted 2 years ago so I pray that you’ve seen much more progress on your road to recovery
By the way, Canam and Yamaha both sells ATV with automatic transmission. I'm driving a Canam Outlander 500. The only problem could be the height, the chassis is quite bulky compared to the ATV shown in this video. Great video (besides the loud music again), keep it up!
21 years after my illness/injury I still struggle with some of these issues. I have ridden four wheelers and wave runners without adaptions and is the most peaceful feeling I have felt. I wish sooo fucking bad I could afford to purchase these thing’s. Respect to those with mobility issues still living their best life.
such an inspiration shows nothing is impossible lv the vehicles once you learn to ignore the whispers and see your not just your disability but you are an individual with a few challenges than life becomes brighter life is important keep going keep inspiring others
I swear everything both of you guys said is how I feel, I'm still trying to deal with becoming handicap but its hard, I became handicapped may 8, 2017 and its been 2 years of a fight but I'm still going

I just recently got a new ATV to take the place of the side by side I had a couple years ago that I had to sell due to financial issues. I gotta say the seating position of the Polaris RZR I had was great. I didn’t have to worry about seating issues or height. The power steering was a big feature for me. I knew how hard it can be to turn the handlebars while traveling at low speed or a stop. The seat also was less painful for me because you are leaned back slightly instead of sitting in a more upright posture associated with a four wheeler (my injury is lower spine and sitting upright without support is very painful). I couldn’t afford another side by side but I did find a Polaris Sportsman ATV. It is automatic and has an electric power steering option. Not only is your throttle on your handlebars but your brakes are as well with an emergency brake pedal on your foot peg. It has a hand operated shift lever that is similar to what you would have on an automatic car. I added a wind screen to take the wind off of my body to remove that variable, which can be painful after a bit of fighting it’s force. I also added a back rest. It’s not a racing seat that hugs you and holds you in one place but at the very least I’m able to get outdoors now. I have thought about making a couple different adaptive devices. One is a piece that would allow you to lean forward against it at an angle between 45 and 90 degrees to take some of your upper body weight off your lower back. Another would be similar but to lay back against and curve into the seat, almost arching your back to get as close to the position of those zero gravity chairs. The last one would be the most difficult because you would almost need to design the ATV around the seat. I didn’t get the chance to try out the Polaris Ace but it seems to be promising. A single seat RZR with the size of a normal ATV, with the added benefit of a roll cage. If I went with that my wife wouldn’t be able to go riding with me unless we got 2 so....
I was in a dirtbike accident got hit by a drunk driver broke my collar bone and my neck both legs both ankles all my ribs punctured lung and fractured lower spine I know exactly what’s this guys going through u can never quit or let people put you down coz of our conditions stay strong 👊🏽
I want you to know that I’m not parolized but I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and this inspired me soo much to just keep my head up and keep “kicking ass”
I am a T4 complete, mine happened on oct 5 2012, dontbletbanyone say you cant do something, i was just on a dirt bike a couple weeks ago. They have kits for stret bikes for paraplegics, never give up. I live on my own in my own house one 1 acre, i mow my own lawn and do just about everything around the house. Never give up.
You both are blessed to be alive. This video touched me. In 98 I was shot in my head by one of my old bf my left side of my brain is dead. I can't do a lot I forget and have bad headache feels like my head is on fire.
Hey man i watch your channel often i suffered a burst fractured vertebrae in a motorcycle accident 5 months ago i was incomplete i push every day to get back on my feet. Love the the videos especially this one I always go to it when i feel down about my injuries and need inspiration.
You're not the only one that feels that way but I'm glad you got to the point where you can realize that you still have to move on I'm in a wheelchair too I was born like this.
Hey there... i just found your UA-cam channel and already watched half of your vids. I am completly healthy besides that when i start getting stressed the acid of my stomache attacks me and i cant move. When im outside i do notice people in wheelchairs but i am always thinking how i should react to them or even talk and so on. so your videos help me a lot with showing me clearly that the wheelchair is just and object and not the person itself. thanks for that
my wife had a spinal cord tumor and surgery caused her disability. It's an incomplete injury but she isn't whole by any means. she can walk but is unstable and requires someone to help. her arms have problems so she can't use a walker or propel a manual chair. we are generally happy and lean on Jesus for strength and joy. but there are a lot of tough times where we just don't feel like getting off the couch. thanks for sharing your life here and we look forward to using your channel as a source of information and inspiration. carlos and mandy
I like the way you guys home the way you guys go about life like that it's really inspiring are you get for people to go through what you guys did and to come out on the other side and speak positive and and helps people I really does helps a lot I know it helps me when I when I'm feeling down and out and depressed at all that I watch a couple your videos and it like puts a total different aspect on my life and for that I appreciate that keep up keep it up
That first part got to me. I was balling my eyes out. 😭😭❤️ but u taught me so much that people may stare but don’t let it get to u. Keep up the great work and I love ur videos keep on doing what ur doing
He could ride an actual motorbike again if he wanted. I have seen these kits that can be put in your bike so you can control everything with your hands like the atv. When you stop kick stands come out to hold you and the bike up then goes back up as you go again. I saw a UA-cam vid of a guy a while ago having his friend help put it all on the bike to get it working it was really cool
I just got t-boned off of my gsxr .... going through something similar, I broke my back very high up, thankfully I'm gonna walk again years from now but I'm nervous for a wheelchair... I'm still in hospital but gotta keep fighting. I'm getting skin graphs to cover my leg so hopefully it goes well. its nice to see someone who's been through something similar , although alot worse it's good u seem to be doing well
Great video! I’m a paraplegic (T-11) and am buying a atv. I appreciate the time and effort you put into these videos, just know that we appreciate you!
Leaving in a wheelchair it is not easy I get paralyzed 14 months ago and has been the hardest time in my life is been few times that I tried to kill myself but I have a daughter and she needs me does why I keep fighting every day and see them not the only One people in a wheelchair makes me get up every morning and keep fighting
Jj R ive been in a chair for my whole life. (14 years) even I have it sometimes. But what I do i think about the good things. For example. You can always stand 1st row at party’s or something. Try to think like that, i hope it Will help you as much as it helps me. Wish you the best man.
How are you able to use the rear brakes on the quad? Its located on the right side for right foot. I'm an above right knee amputee and I'd like to be able to use my rear breaks when riding my quad. Thank you and great videos. Would like to talk sometime, from and amputee point of view. Peace.
Just moved to Port Charlotte Florida 2 yrs ago. I was with a friend at his families place in Tampa and they were inviting me to go out Jet skiing with them and now here I am coming across this video. I'm a T-4 Burst Fracture from a motorcycle accident just like yours. I'm paralyzed from below the chest down and have been like this going on 22 yrs May 14th 1999.... I'm going to get me a Jet ski. I just need to know where do you get the straps for the tie down into the Jet ski? and is there any tips you can give me being a brand new owner of a jet ski? btw. My motorcycle was a Honda CBR 900. I loved my bike but sold it a few months after getting out of the hospital. I wasn't upset just thought I couldn't do nothing with it so why let it sit there. Stay up man and continue doing your thing. Thanks for the inspiration
Gotta be careful with that jet ski Witt the straps mighh want to develop different system if he rolled it and was knocked out he would be stuck underwater and risk drowning unlike a traditional jetski setup where you would just fall off if it rolls. Other than that awesome setup!
This is really helpful to me because I got paralyzed from my 3 wheeler and want to get back on it. And also could u make a video of him driving the manual car?
But late but did the bike also have an auto clutch because it looks like it would be difficult to pull the clutch and press the button at the same time
Can you make a story time of how you got hurt? I know you have told us some things about it, but it would be cool to hear the details so we could all learn how fast things can be taken away from us. I think it would be a great story for all of us.
Carlos needs to be wearing a helmet. My daughter was born with Spina Bifida. She is a T12-L3. She has ridden horses and had a few championships for challenged riding. Now she rides a four wheeler that her dad made adaptive for her buy making it hand control with a shifter.
You guys are so inspiring, I've been in a wheelchair for 33 years since I was 18. My motorcycle accident was just one week after I graduated high school and I love what you are doing.

Thanks for the info! I have informed the editor about the volume, he will be improving moving forward 👌🏻
Thank you! Watching your video and listening to both of you really inspires me.
such an inspiration shows nothing is impossible lv the vehicles once you learn to ignore the whispers and see your not just your disability but you are an individual with a few challenges than life becomes brighter life is important keep going keep inspiring others
I had to pause before 5 minutes to compose myself. A lot of the things you guys are talking about are so true for me and hit a unexpected nerve.

Check out his website Wheels2walking.com the Untold Story. You are not alone buddy.

awesome glad your still having fun.
I'm wondering which three tourism destination you would recommend to wheelchair users? Or which three country is the most accessible friendly? 😊
Come to Navarre Florida

Your video is so motivated, that I was energize. I too got a spinal injury at T12, past 20 year's. Thank you bro.
I want you to know that I’m not parolized but I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and this inspired me soo much to just keep my head up and keep “kicking ass”
You inspired me to never give up

You both are blessed to be alive. This video touched me. In 98 I was shot in my head by one of my old bf my left side of my brain is dead. I can't do a lot I forget and have bad headache feels like my head is on fire.
🌟Inspirational. God bless you brothers 🙏🏽
Hey man i watch your channel often i suffered a burst fractured vertebrae in a motorcycle accident 5 months ago i was incomplete i push every day to get back on my feet. Love the the videos especially this one I always go to it when i feel down about my injuries and need inspiration.
I love your videos you are so inspiring ♡♡♡♡
You're not the only one that feels that way but I'm glad you got to the point where you can realize that you still have to move on I'm in a wheelchair too I was born like this.
You and Carlos are so inspiring you guys teach me to just keep trying
Love you Carlitoooosss, you have come such a long way and you're stronger than ever

I like the way you guys home the way you guys go about life like that it's really inspiring are you get for people to go through what you guys did and to come out on the other side and speak positive and and helps people I really does helps a lot I know it helps me when I when I'm feeling down and out and depressed at all that I watch a couple your videos and it like puts a total different aspect on my life and for that I appreciate that keep up keep it up
Wow. This is so inspiring and a huge motivation to move myself forward I love this movement and hope the best for these people.
Love u thanks for the motivation please never stop
Promise you I won’t 😊
That first part got to me. I was balling my eyes out. 😭😭❤️ but u taught me so much that people may stare but don’t let it get to u. Keep up the great work and I love ur videos keep on doing what ur doing
He could ride an actual motorbike again if he wanted. I have seen these kits that can be put in your bike so you can control everything with your hands like the atv. When you stop kick stands come out to hold you and the bike up then goes back up as you go again. I saw a UA-cam vid of a guy a while ago having his friend help put it all on the bike to get it working it was really cool
But how would he shift gears
Sry didnt se the automatic shifter he would just need suport weels
As a student working to get my bachelor of nursing and want to help others who are in a wheelchair
This is exactly what I going through yes life is different thanks for sharing your story’s
That is so cool enjoy your ride
Leaving in a wheelchair it is not easy I get paralyzed 14 months ago and has been the hardest time in my life is been few times that I tried to kill myself but I have a daughter and she needs me does why I keep fighting every day and see them not the only One people in a wheelchair makes me get up every morning and keep fighting
You and I have a similar story. Keep your head up bro. You got this 👊🏻
Keep your head up! Your daughter will see how strong your are.
Jj R ive been in a chair for my whole life. (14 years) even I have it sometimes. But what I do i think about the good things. For example. You can always stand 1st row at party’s or something. Try to think like that, i hope it Will help you as much as it helps me. Wish you the best man.
I salute you all 🙏🏻 I admire all the positively, very humbling .
Stay strong brother💪🏼
How are you able to use the rear brakes on the quad? Its located on the right side for right foot. I'm an above right knee amputee and I'd like to be able to use my rear breaks when riding my quad. Thank you and great videos. Would like to talk sometime, from and amputee point of view. Peace.
I needed to see this 🙏🏼
Man I love you Richard. (Man crush) your videos have really changed everything I look at
Totally inspiring. How do you get past the depression, addiction, and develop the motivation and attitude to kick ass like you do?
Hallo Panowie mam pytanie gdzie mogę kupić mechanizm do zmiany biegow? Dziękuję za info
Gotta be careful with that jet ski Witt the straps mighh want to develop different system if he rolled it and was knocked out he would be stuck underwater and risk drowning unlike a traditional jetski setup where you would just fall off if it rolls. Other than that awesome setup!
Real talk. Thanks guys! T6
You’re welcome 🤘🏻
Just found your page and I love your content! Keep up the good work on the videos.
Hi can I ask a question? When u were in the target video were you in Atlanta, GA?
Wow, this is really amazing
This is really helpful to me because I got paralyzed from my 3 wheeler and want to get back on it. And also could u make a video of him driving the manual car?
It is awesome to see how people have adapted to horrible things that happen to them in life and that they come back stronger than before!!! 💪💪💪
What song do you use for the intros
Clean raptor bro sick they made it so you guys can ride
But late but did the bike also have an auto clutch because it looks like it would be difficult to pull the clutch and press the button at the same time
Super Inspiring!
This is so deep, this is so motivatin. Love you keep staying strong❤💪
Is the instragram acct for Carlos still active? It says page not found.
Imagine the jet ski flips over
Pretty hard to do if you know what your doing. Just Incase they always go in a group so they can help each other out
Can you make a story time of how you got hurt? I know you have told us some things about it, but it would be cool to hear the details so we could all learn how fast things can be taken away from us. I think it would be a great story for all of us.
i used to be super active as well after my accident until i got a pressure soar then that stopped real fast enjoy it while you can
10:55 did he not stand up and walk
Wow this hit me hard. I’m routing for y’all 😊. I think it’s absolutely amazing what you’re doing.
What’s the shifter called again
Inpiration, it push me to keep going through dificult time. Thanks both
Man im the same t7. Stay strong buddy sweet toys
Carlos needs to be wearing a helmet. My daughter was born with Spina Bifida. She is a T12-L3. She has ridden horses and had a few championships for challenged riding. Now she rides a four wheeler that her dad made adaptive for her buy making it hand control with a shifter.
From horses to horse power! I love it 😁
Hey - you guys are awesome. Wasn't sure what this vid was gonna be. --Dadders
Key Largo, Montego, baby why don't we go.. Oh I want to take you down to
