👋 My son has a 2000 Cadillac Deville and throws P0741 & P1860 codes. P1860 says TCC PWM Solenoid Circuit Electrical Any advice is greatly appreciated!!! BY the way the car has only 57K miles
The pressure control solenoids are more difficult to test because the pintle hump isn’t visible on most vehicles. The TCM operates the pcs solenoid with a duty cycle keeping the valve open slightly all of the time. Sometimes you have to disconnect the TCM and manually power the solenoid briefly and check the scope pattern.
Great diag on the Transmission. Thanks for sharing!
I got the same problem with the transmission control! Thanks for sharing , excellent explanation of what is going on with my system
Awesome video!! Thanks for sharing your diagnostic procedure for the TCC. Thank you.
I just wish all manufactures would allow TCC lockup control with a scan tool. Many of the newer vehicles do not have any solenoid testing.
Thanks for another great video. Very helpful. Merry Christmas

How do you check to see if a PCS pressure control solenoid is bad?
