- let me show you how I have been making my patchwork mini houses.
This video was filmed for another social media app, so the video orientation is wrong, but I know some people requested a video here on youtube.

I am seriously tempted to convert this to an EPP pattern. It would be so much fun. Your little houses are adorable!
1:50 there's a ruler you need. It's called: add a quarter ruler. It has a lip that slides onto the folded paper and automatically positions the edge for 1/4". There's lots of videos explaining it. But it's perfect for FPP. 💖🌞🌵😷
Love these little houses, plus they look pretty quick and straight forward to put together. A grand project to play with colours 🥰
Such cute little houses. I will look forward to trying FPP sometime. Thanks for the explanation. xx
Such adorable little houses. Thank you for sharing, Rachel.
Glad you like them!
Exactly what I was looking for to empty my scrap box 🏠. Thank you for sharing ❤! Best regards from Germany, Andrea
You did a wonderful job showing us how to piece it
I'm so glad!
Rachel👏👏👏 I LOVE it! It’s on my wannado list ❤️😀
It's a really fun project!
Rachel thankyou for sharing how to make the mini houses using paper piecing. I was making mine with the dimension from the patter so there a little wonky. I have not paper pieced before so its always great to learn a new skill. As I said in a previous post they are so fun to make.. Thanks again :)
You are so welcome! They are really fun and I find them very accurate to do this way, happy stitching
Gorgeous Rachel! I love your colorway!
Thank you so much! I've been having fun with the colours and my scraps
WOW Thanks I have never seen this done and wondered how to do it.
No problem!
That you so much for this video. I have bought the pattern, but haven’t started it yet. This was a great tutorial, as I much prefer a visual instruction rather than written instructions. Your houses look adorable.
You are welcome, its quite an easy technique once you get the fabric placement. Happy stitching
I’m itching to start, but I must get some of my other projects off the table first. Thanks for your encouragement.
Cute little houses. Did you see the pineapple pattern at the link with the houses ... wow! Looking forward to your next video. Plan to buy you a cup of coffee soon at your link above!
She has so many wonderful patterns, I've been tempted by a few! Aww thank you, that is very kind of you and I do appreciate it ❤️
Very helpful! Thank you!
Great video ❤ I love FPP. Can I suggest you get an “Add a Quarter” ruler - it’s fantastic for FPP and makes it so much easier to cut xx
Thank you! I will definitely look into one 🥰
Black and orange house please Rachel
Do you peel of the foundation paper when finish sewing? Thanks
Yeah you rip the papers out ❤️
What is the effect on the needle when you stitch through paper? Does it go blunt quickly?
I havent noticed any issues with the needle to be honest xx
So cute! I love that little ruler! Where did you get it?
I purchased it from amazon, I searched "half inch ruler"
@@stitchwithrachel Thank you!
Ciao! Ma poi la carta rimane o si deve togliere?🤔
All of the papers are removed
