Thank you so much for this tutorial. My dad passed in November and myself, mum and nieces associate butterflies with him. I can now learn how to make some to add to makes for them, keeping him close always ❤
I love the style paper piecing templates you are using. They are labeled very well. What software did you use to create the templates? Because the guide numbers in the seam allowances is really helpful. I found your tutorial to be very helpful, as I am a new PP creator/sewer.
I saw a video on paper piecing and she used glue. You make it so much easier and less messier. Can I just suggest holding the thread when you start so it doesn't bulk up when you start to sew. I will be looking for other videos you make. Thank you.
Thank you Liza you helped me so much ❤🎉❤
What a great tutorial. It is so thorough. I had seen others, but none are as complete as yours. Thank you! Also, your butterfly...adorbs!
Thank you! I am so happy you enjoyed it!

Which butterfly paper piecing templates are you using?
I’m using my own pattern 🥰 you can find it here: lizataylorhandmade.com/collections/patterns/products/take-flight-fpp-pattern-pdf-download
Using prints makes it harder to discern what you put so much work into making.
