Wish I had seen this before Father's Day. Took advantage of a sale and just got the CG version. Haven't tried it yet, but I guess I'll be happy either way. Nice comparo.
Thanks so much for the in depth review. Chemical Guys is more expensive bc they brand and market their stuff as the "best". But it's paying for the name basically! Appreciate you!
Personally for someone to just clean their car at home and not having to use a bucket and sponge to soap it up, is a plus. Especially if i could smoke a joint and a cigarette in one hand and hose it down with the other, im good, especially for $40 here in canada 👍🏼
Good review. A pressure washer has more satisfaction but at the end of the day the $20 one gets the job done the same, might need to go around the car twice but still gets it done for cheap
@@kaybrireviews3312 interested in selling the chemical guys cannon? i'd pay up front. I started a car detailing service and have a good foam cannon and power washer, just can't take the power washer in my car, need something mobile to be able to do at there house if their not willing to bring the car to me? do you have a FB or Twitter channel? LMK
I got the CG foam blaster. The suction tube wasn't attached and I find it,so far, impossible to attach. There are no instructions. What is the difference in the settings?
I have the Chemical Guys version of this foam cannon, and the quick disconnect to the cannon to the sprayer broke! No replacement part avail, so I'm SOL.
Good review. I use a pressure washer with Chemical Guys Snow Foam with great results, however I just picked this up to give it a shot. Got it on sale for 10 Bucks so why not. Thanks for the review,
I have been using chemical guys for about three years. Once you order from them. They will send you discount emails. The last one I got was for 35% off. So I loaded up on stuff. That’s mainly when I buy. Very cool and objective review. What type of soap did you use? You have a very easy to understand channel. Perhaps a review on the various foam soaps. Keep that cool content flowing.
Finally found a review of these and I bought myself the foam gun cannon. Uses alot of soap though compared to a high pressure cannon. But still good when you dont want to setup a high pressure cleaner.
I always wanted some foam cannon and online they're all over priced and I saw the blue one at CVS recently and decided to just buy it. I just don't know what one piece is for but other than that works great
Seemed like the Chemical Guys was a smaller Spray Pattern/Higher Pressure maybe better for dirt and Bugs.... The Cheaper Cannon has a Wider Spread, maybe more Convenient and quicker, easier to soap down and use a Wash Mit? I would still recommend a Bucket of water just to rinse the dirt out of the Mit to prevent Scratching the Paint...
Why didn't you use the metering tips? The blue, yellow and green tips for the different pressure amounts? Aren't they supposed to give you more or less suds?
Chemical guys looks better and definitely had more of a thicker foam then the cheap one. But also could depend on how much of a mix you put in. Obviously if you want more foam and more pressure you use the power washer foam canon that's the one I have and it changed the entire car white can't even see the paint. I am purchasing a chemical guys kit with the hose cannon since I don't have that one. I also started up my own detailing service and I like using chemical guys products. Good review tho👍
I got the chem guys one and just used it for the first time today. Not very impressed. Used a ton of soap to get good foam and had crappy pressure due to my crappy water pressure. I used mine on 5 for all of 30 seconds before the soap was gone 😑 ended up washing the rest on a 3.
These foam cannons are all the same. Wouldn't be surprised if the Car Wash Cannon was made by the other guys for them. Their performance looks exactly the same.
I prefer Chemical Guys products and they seem to stand behind what they sell. You sometimes get what you pay for. Even in the demo I preferred the Chemical Guys side, but In also willing to bet the product mix was incorrect and it didn't seen like you gave the application process enough time to mix and produce product. Unfortunate.
Mostly the garden hoses for the foam guns are not designed for tons and tons of snow foams and that’s why the pressure washer has the most strength and power to cover the entire vehicle. However the foam guns looks pretty cool to use and looks fun! Like I said before, it doesn’t produce a lot of foam, but just enough to cover your whole vehicle. It’s just as fun as the pressure water. It will still get the job done. It’s just another way of washing your own vehicle even if people don’t have access to a power washer which I know 99% of it are expensive and gets the job done a lot easier
I looked at the Adams premium foam gun and for some people that bought it and used it before said they really liked it but my issue with those foam guns is that it doesn’t have the number ratio adjustable of how much foam it will come out from the nozzle. There’s like a 32 ounce bottle and a 35 oz as well. The chemical guys and the car wash cannon has the V shape foam pour when you turn the number nob ratio of the highest number how much foam it comes out. I’m still a fan of the Adams polishes stuff and which I do a admire for their brand but they don’t have a specific nozzle where you want to adjust your number and how much foam will pour out and this one literally pours out like just water coming out of the hose. There is foam that still pours out of those foam guns when you put it on your car and it’ll just pour it like a straight line like watering your plants in your front yard
Turtle wax has a New car wash soap called "Max Power" it's for Soap Guns and Pressure washes. Has a higher PH level to clean Dirt and Bugs off, But doesn't include "Wax"

I like seeing an everyday guy give a realistic review. Thank you. Looks like I will only spend $20 bucks.
Love reviewers like this. Very informative and straight to the point. Excellent
Thanks!
Your video deserves more views. You just showed us all we could spend less than half for the same product. Thanks!
This was an excellent video! Straight and to the point! So enjoyable to watch.
Thank you. You just saved me $25. Great video comparison
Just what I was looking for thanks man. I think they are made by the same company just different names.
Wish I had seen this before Father's Day. Took advantage of a sale and just got the CG version. Haven't tried it yet, but I guess I'll be happy either way. Nice comparo.

No nonsense, honest review. Thank you!

I agree, it gets the job done

@Digital Psych0SID we purchased the Chemical Guys Cannon on Amazon. Wishing you the best of luck on the detailing business!

Good review nothing wrong with the $20 foam cannon, regards and best wishes Perth Western Australia 🇦🇺
Thanks so much i bought the green one with different name lol and i love it works fantastic with garden hose.thanks for video
Good review. I use a pressure washer with Chemical Guys Snow Foam with great results, however I just picked this up to give it a shot. Got it on sale for 10 Bucks so why not. Thanks for the review,
Good job on the review. I do have the CG one. But the other looks almost as good.

Great review…keep up the great videos

Great job. Thank you for sharing straight forward information

my question is does the bottom of the tube have an areation/filter if so does it make it spray better? thank you
What's your soap mixture ?
What is the soap you’re using?
Why didn't you use the metering tips? The blue, yellow and green tips for the different pressure amounts? Aren't they supposed to give you more or less suds?
Great review. Straight to the point. To me the Chem Guys Foam Gun seem like it had a little more suds. Not much but there was a difference.
I agree it definitely had a bit more suds
The Chemical Guys unit is built better, as well. You can tell before he starts using it.

Thank you for commenting! I’m looking to get into detailing too professionally. I like CG products so far.
Where is the link for the cheaper one brother

Nothing beats a power washer with a cannon but a good alternative.

If i decide to upgrade from a garden hose to a pressure washer would it connect to the bottle?
No, you would have to buy a foam Cannon with the 1/4" connection that fit on a pressure washer nozzle.
Link of the products in Amazon, please! 😃

Chemical Guys Foam Gun: amzn.to/3C9CE3v
what soap did you use?
I used Armor All Snow Foam Wash.
Not bad for a normal hose connection.
i have the Car Wash Cannon and its not putting out that much pressure any suggestions ??. Good review though
Maybe your water pressure is too low?
And thanks for the review!
But what ratio of snowfoam to water as they are concentrated
I filled the snow foam wash up to the recommend line on the foam gun bottle.
I usually go 1/3 of the bottle with shampoo and fill up the rest with water, makes it a little more foamy.
Good review 👍
Thanks!
Good review. I was expecting a thicker foam.
Have CG gun didn't like it , foam not good and hose adapter doesn't shutoff. Giving to daughter and went with electric pressure pump much better.
Do the windows so we can actually see it
Definitely the cheaper one
Nobody ever talks about what soap they were using
These foam cannons are all the same. Wouldn't be surprised if the Car Wash Cannon was made by the other guys for them. Their performance looks exactly the same.

good video, I understand that the 2 are Chinese but the chemical guys put their logo printed on it. I would buy the $20 one
It's the same foam cannon my friend Chemical Guys they buy it and they brand it with their name..!!!
Nice
Cheaper one looks fine if you don’t have a pressure washer.
It’s suppose to be foamy and thick, not Watery if I’m not mistaken .
Yeah its cause when you use a pressure washer it definitely looks much better
