I bought one today. The instruction pamphlet that comes in the box says you get an Alternative Foaming Head (part No.8) and a Screen Washer (part No.9). What's that all about? I didn't get those with my purchase.
I would use this JUST for the "foaming soap" aspect; so basically, this only replaces the bucket and sponge/cloth used to "soapie-up" a car. It seams I would have to use a cleaning cloth to utilize the soap foam to actually clean the car. Glad it comes with a "quick connect" so you can quickly remove the cannon and switch to a regular hose power-head for rinsing.
I agree i thought about using my Foam Cannon to Soap down a Car then use a Mit to Scrub it down. But you need a Bucket of Water to Rinse the Dirt off the Mit.
@@tonysreviews No problem lol it honestly took me like 10 Mins of looking at the thing to figure out how everything worked, i have used Quick Disconnects on Pressure washers and Garden houses for a few years that's how i figured it out
One interesting item was omitted. The instructions say to (after putting in your car washing soap, fill the container with warm water before spraying using the hose attachment. I don't know if it makes much difference since I have not bought the product (yet), but thought I should just point this out in case some users it does make a difference.
It won't strip off your clear coat, it'll get rid of any waxes or protestants you had on it though, which you should reapply every now and again, so yeah when you need to reapply take it off first with dawn soap and save some money doing the cleaning part of it on that go around
for people saying dish soap its bad, its not bad if your vehicle has alot of dirt, plus Dawn does has a soap named Dawn ultra heavy duty it works great and its car wash safe
If you use dish soap, you’re stripping wax and polish off, only time you use dish soap is when you’re going to polish it, and or wax it, and before you polish/wax you should clay it.
It’s a soap dispenser to assist you with washing your vehicle. The type of soap and spot free water to rinse has to be used. It will not wash your vehicle. A soap with special release agents, hand washing , spot free water and towel dry gives a professional results.
I am looking at buying this product myself, however I would use it only to soap up the car, then wipe the panels manually. Thanks for reviewing this product.
I washed my moms car with this and car wash soap and a wash mitt came out great also if you do this again use a microfiber cloth or sponge it will be amazing
Um, your car was clean compared to cars that get seriously 10/10 dirty in Australia! Just cleaned my car with the carwash cannon that arrived this morning, my car was only 3/10 dirty. I had the soft extension brush at the ready and had to use it to clean the dirt off the doors. I forgot to add the warm water but it still worked pretty good like the Weed & Feed technique. At least you showed me how to assemble it! Thanks. After giving my car a rinse and a quick wipe down with a car sponge, I used the cannon on both sides of my garage roller door, had to use the extension brush again. This cannon depends on the water pressure in your area too.
Thanks for the comment from a different region of the world. Helps people get an idea of how useful this thing might be in different parts of the world!
Your video was great. It showed that you've got to do more than just trust their claim. After you soap up the car, I'd use a wool mitt and agitate the car surface after applying the soap, and then shammy/towel dry. It amazes me that only a bit of soap does the trick then why is the container so large? Does it fill as you use it?
You still need a wash mitt to go over the car after you apply the car wash soap. NOT dish washing liquid. If have leaf blower you could air dry the car followed by a synthetic absorber.
I'm going to start making money from washing peoples cars so this gives me hope I will be making hundreds of dollars a day. I would say that because this cannon does not waste time. Another thing is that if you windowshop in Walmart this will be there for 20 bucks. Ebay sells this for 50 This cannon sure does look versatile, Quick performance, and simple
Isnt it the quality of the soap that removes the dirt & grime without wet wiping the car? Not really the duty of the careash cannon, especially if the vehical is vet dirty.
Like u said , it did half decent job. Have u ever heard of scratch repair where u rub the stuff on & wipe it off . Supposed to run out scratches & scuff marks on ur car ? Let me know. Good job

The only true way to dry a car after washing is to use a shammy. If you want to be lazy (like me), after rinsing your car, break out the leaf blower and blow dry the water off of your vehicle. The high pressure air removes all the water beads and it turns out just like the blow dryer mechanism at an automatic car wash. Leaving the water droplets on the surface of your car to just evaporate will always end up with you having to do extra buffing in the end with no success at having a clean finish.
You do know this is a cannon not a pressure washer ! You're supposed to spray on and wash with a fiber towel and rinse! It saves you from using a bucket of soap water !
I bought one of these.I was skeptical.I was right, after using it,there was a very slight reduction of dirt on the vehicle.Don't waste your time - just wash it normally. When they tested this thing, they must have seen then that it doesn't clean the dirt off.False advertising. After using it I had to wash the car in the normal way.And you can't use the cannon and then use a chamois to dry it,you will be just rubbing the dirt across the paint finish.
It's $20 and I'm going to give this a shot. You showed it worked in your video and there's nothing to be "skeptical" about lol only not wanting to spend $20 on this... not too many options for a "water hose" plug in type cannon ... only for pressure washers which I don't want to use RN. I recommend the "armor all extreme shield ceramic " car wash soap. Green bottle with this. But you have to hand wash it after you spray the car/truck down with the soap. Then dry with microfiber towel for Best shine. 👍👍👍👍
I am wondering if the adaptor goes with the “Gardenia” brand hose connectors? They are popular here in Ontario Canada. That sure gives a nice frothing of soap. I guess you would have to use a cloth for the hard to remove dirt. After you towel dried it, your car looked great! Just a suggestion Tony ~ I think a good car wash soap would remove more water spots. 🤷♀️. Not sure but I don’t use dish soap on mine. Great honest review! Good job Tony !
Best 20 bucks I spend honestly. Don't use any soap use the best. Use meguiars soap along with the ceramic was and wow it looks like it came out the lot. I know the box says you don't have to use the sponge just wipe, but no the best results use the sponge
Dish detergent???. Sorry mate, try again with a dedicated car foam designed to stick to the car. Although this vlog is interesting, this product is being pushed in Australia 🇦🇺 currently.
Dishwashing soap is actually not good for the clear coat and paint. It a bit acid. You are suppose to add 32 oz of water in the container along with the concentrates soap. You didn’t read the instructions. This is not a good review.
Hi Tony this is so amazing your car looks so brilliant and shiny it seems that I am looking in a mirror because of the crystal which so clear from front windows unto the back this is so great I guess you buy permanently those carwash materials in amazon ☺big thumbs up for this vlog
You're not washing dishes. Why don't you use car washing liquid from the auto parts store. Dishwashing liquid might take the wax off if you waxed your car.

There is one little black part that it looks like an adapter. But, I can't figured it out where it goes or how to use it?
I am pretty sure it is just an adapter for different types of hoses. Thanks for watching!
@@tonysreviews I find out is the adapter for washing the wheels.
Dish soap strips your wax coating!

@@Robs_Got_A_Gun You could just leave the mitt on your hand and hit it with the hose to rinse it.
Put it on zero and it's good for rinsing.
You're supposed to disconnect the "Quick Disconnect" and use the Handle Sprayer to Rinse the car really good instead of turning the Dial to 0

Dawn is wrong soap to use on a car FYI...
Absolutely. It stipes your clear coat off. (-:

Plus it does a better job of cleaning than most detergents made for cars anyways because they aren't trying to strip that coating off
