I have 2 of these. I fill one with oxygen and the other with hydrogen. They weigh virtually nothing in my backpack until i mix the contents together to produce water. ;-)
hello I'm not trying to be rude or a butt but it is not a thermos its a single wall bottle but vey cool you can boil water in it because its single wall but wont keep water cool or hot I have the canteen and canteen cup combo its great
Hi Just want to ask Which one is better for edc klean kanteen or the Kieth canteen? I’m thinking of getting the Kieth bcos its titanium. I Want something that will last for long time and safe for health and sorry for my bad English.
Hi, I have both steel Klean Kanteen and Keith Ti3036, both 1.2 litres. The steel one has a slightly smaller opening diameter and a plastic lid. The titanium one has a titanium lid. The total weight difference (including lids) is 30 grams in favor of Keith so it's negligible for most use cases, especially if you consider the weight of the water itself. Steel is going to be stronger and it will resist dents. But if you prefer all-metal construction, pick Keith which I think also has a slightly better form factor. Both are cool pieces of kit though for extreme weight saving I'd just pick a plastic bottle from the grocery store. But it can be punctured and you can't cook in it so there are pros and cons.
I got that water bottle from Keith Titanium, plus another two items, the Ti3208 and their tea infuser. I sent back the latter two, because they arrived in 2nd hand condition and were flawed. But even after sending out emails to all three global offices, I have yet to receive a financial return on the items I sent back to their EU hq in Paris, even six months later! I recommend to avoid Keith Titanium, as tempting as their pricing may be.
@@KenTheoriaApophasis you can play percussion with the other titanium items using chopsticks while waiting for your food. Forks not so much fun for this. Not to mention selfdefense.
Clickbait! I too love titanium and I thought wow, a thermal flask made of titanium. Unfortunately this is a titanium water bottle, so keeping my coffee or soup hot is not an option unless I use the optional blanket. Thermos is still my go to brand for keeping things hot or cold for extended periods, nothing happens in a vacuum :)
Weird... I just bought a titanium canteen... Are you watching the same stuff and going to the same websites I am to make Google think you like titanium stuff and start pushing ads your way like they probably did to me?

This is a NOT a thermos bottle. This is only a single walled titanium bottle, so you will be burned instantly if you put in a hot beverage.
Unscrewing the cap to take a drink is not convenient especially in a car when driving. I hope they make an easy to drink out of cap. Does this sweat?
Yes. Single wall bottles sweat.
Thanks! I ordered one.

Is it actually a thermos (keeps drinks hot ot cold) or is it just a container?
its a container, its not double walled, no the sleeve it fits it keeps the temp

yes, its not a double-walled thermos.
Theoria Apophasis i was hoping it was not double wall thank you!
it's now $104... ken you have gone beyond lenses in raising the price of something on ebay by simply recommending it. lol

But will you climb Mt Fuji??????
yeah, not
It's NOT the worlds lightest metal water bottle! My Tomshoo 750ml Titanium water bottle/flask only weighs 5.2oz (144g)!
thats only cause it holds LESS liquid
Of course, but it's considerably lighter than his, so mine is the lightest metal bottle in the world!
@@g7vgg If you talk like that then a 100ml metal bottle would take the cake. It's about the ratio.
Nice but admittedly I'm about sick of buying everything from China
not everything from china is crap
@@KenTheoriaApophasis I never said it was and I totally agree but it doesn't help support our economy. Just my perspective sir.
