I think its because most UA-camrs who focus on SMM usually play troll levels, and 3d world is a hard style to design trolls in that are actually enjoyable. Traditional levels are plenty, but troll levels are what get the most screen time.
The combination lock level should have a poison mushroom pipe to continue pumping them out if one is destroyed. It's a shame sound effects don't work if they are off screen, because then you could put sound triggers to let the player know something happened.
I've seen on Reddit a level only possible when played by separate characters; in the new supe theme, different characters (with fire power) will shoot fireballs at different heights based on where their arms are and will have different patterns
Ceave, I got a new global ground entity, witch actually counts for ELB. May you know this but here we go. Skewers. I tested it and it works. It may take a lot of space, but it works! Video idea - Is it possible to beat New Super Mario Bros U with Baby Yoshis? I mean once you get a baby yoshi, you have to keep him alive throughout the whole game.
in multiplayer, almost all speed runs are changed into impossible levels for many reasons: 1. the timer keeps going while one player is in a pipe or door. 2. the stage will not reset when a player enters a door or pipe if another player is in that area. 3. If a block affected by gravity (like a sideways spring or POW block) is placed just above a pipe, it will fall and block the pipe due to the game having to constantly run when displayed on anyone's screen, even while coming out of a pipe, therefore sending you back.
There is a way to make a level impossible in the different modes (Local co-op, Singleplayer or Online) You use a mechanism (I suggest Tobias Bergdorf's Design) and then make one or two of the pipes lead to death Then you can only complete it in a certain mode
Try this for a impossible level. Make the level extremely short (Make sure the rest is empty) Make some killing Machine that kills the player instantly every time,or place something that will kill the player everytime with out them escaping And that's it.

The spring seemingly impossible level is beatable by hitting the block and jumping on the on-off switch, (so adding something like a couple one-way gates to stop both the payer and the spring from being placed on top of the on-off switch which actually makes the seemingly impossible level to work your way) then wait for the P switch effect to end and the shiny, yet deadly coins are boring but life saving blocks again and go through the door.

can't you make a level impossible for muliplayer because you have a tight timer and require going through pipes since the timer doesn't stop while in pipes in multiplayer
I've found by playing if you put some blocks with wings on the other side of a pipe it is literally impossible to complete the level while playing on online multiplayer because the room begins moving before you are fully out of the pipe so you can verify the level and beat it by yourself but not on online co-op
A less capable mushroom would probably see this brick block and come to the conclusion that it is impossible to reach it, and give up. But not Toadette. Because Toadette has 2000 I.Q.

The best part is how some of these actually aren't glitches, just little-known mechanics. For example, in Toad's case you could eliminate the On/Off crushers so that the lock simply resets if you make a mistake, add some signposting to clue the player in, and NOW you have a legitimate puzzle. I remember a level in SMM1 where you had to smuggle a spring the wrong way through one-way doors room after room to proceed. It was genius.

The only thing you need to do in every level is just press minus and edit the level to make it possible. It’s really simple.
