I saw Whiskey Myers for the first time when they opened for Blackberry Smoke. The first time I saw them as the lead act was in the basement of Texas Hill BBQ in Washington, DC. They played for about 100 people in a small venue and they were amazing. I've seen them a half dozen times by now, and the last was in June 2022 at Red Rocks to a sold out venue with 10,000 screaming fans.
Whiskey Myers put on a hell of a show, and the two openers - Reed Southall Band and Shane Smith and the Saints killed it as well. I have never seen a better live band than Whiskey Myers, and that includes a long list of rock icons.

A buddy of mine got me into Whiskey Myers, we even ended up driving through Palestine on the way to Dallas. I finally got to see them as my first concert at a Crawfish Festival in Hitchcock, TX

I remember growing up and going to the county fairs and downtown being able to see y'all live! I remember asking if y'all had a spare guitar pick, y'all actually gave me one and tried to sign it . Man how I wish I still had that guitar pick!
