I have not heard authentic "new" southern rock since I was a barefoot teenager parked on the red dirt road where I lived in Choctaw Oklahoma with my friends with the radio blasting. Nothing else much to do out there unless the blackberrys were ripe. I now live in Colorado Springs. Just saw you boys are going to be in Denver November. I am going to try my best. I already have tickets to take my 30 year old baby daughter to Lynyrd Skynyrd September 28th. I don't know but we might be able to do both, sure going to try. Whiskey Myers are absolutely one of my favourite bands of the 21st Century, OK they aren’t blowing up in the Charts, but who cares? Do you really need your grandma and next door neighbour to listen to them 🤔 And does that make a difference to their excellent music? They have a solid and very loyal following and that is way better in the long run than being “flash in the pan” success which fades into obscurity. Long may they carry on and slowly grow their base of true music fans. Rock on! ❤🤟
