Flat out voice
✌
Awww Chris! Only you could take this song, covered it and turned it into a masterpiece. You don’t do music, music flows inside of you like a daily miracle. Bless you wonderful soul! ❤️🥰😘
Incredible!!!!! I cannot stand covers most of the time especially being one of my favorite song. Thank the Lord for Mr Chris Stapleton.
Chris is the resurrection of country music .Thank Christ there’s someone.
From a metal head, this was absolutely incredible. I don't think I've heard anything so angelic before in my life. Great job.
He kept the bones to the original there but really did his own thing. The end solo is insane. Amazing take on an absolute classic. Impressive.
I want to Specially appreciate you for being a big fan. Thanks for your nice comment on my post, it means a lot to me.
When a song you love getting put to a new level
No one else could do this
Damn. He's channeling Chris Cornell on this... and made it his own. Chills for days. Chris you NAILED this.
Chris Cornell wasn't in Metallica ...
@@Tuck7326 I'm aware
WTF are you smoking lady?
This is a MetallicA song not written or performed by Chris Cornell or soundgarden...
Give props to the people that created it and put heart n soul into breathing it to life...
Chris Stapleton doesn't need to channel Cornell to sing, because hes Chris fucking Stapleton!
Also losing Cornell was bad enough we don't need to compare people to his genius as that just diminishes how rare and unique he was. Chris Cornell was and will always be irreplaceable, in a leauge all his own...
If you admire Chris Cornell help bring the people that killed him to justice.
P.s. they're the same sick fucks trying to jab you with a vaccine...
@@octaneartllc wow dude.. you sure have a high a opinion of your own opinion for someone who can’t spell league.. personally I get pretty heavy soundgarden (Chris Cornell’s band) vibe from Chris’ cover here.. which is a pretty big compliment for anyone.. even someone of Stapleton caliber.. and as far as heart and soul goes it’s hard to top Chris Stapleton.. unless maybe you’re channeling Chris Cornell.. but.. I mean.. YEAH! METALLICA WOO!
I’ve been less than impressed with all of the black album covers. Until I heard this one. Holy shit this is a great example of paying tribute, keeping the original spirit, and making it your own all at the same time.
Hard to do but Stapleton gets it !!
The Volbeat one is by far the best cover so far in my opinion
I agree
Exactly what I thought. I didn't like it at first because I was expecting it to sound the same. I had to consciously avoid that expectation to appreciate it.
@@troybaker8113 Bleh, Volbeat sucks
Absolutely, hands down, the BEST cover tune I've ever heard. Thank you my Brother.
This is one of my favorite Metallica songs, and Chris's cover is great!!!
Love it, haven’t heard anything from him that I don’t enjoy. His albums are pure gold. Thank you for sharing your gift with us Chris.
