Alex proposed to Hayley! Just like the game! Nah, but congrats to both of them! Crazy how time flew by with them! I can't wait to hear a best man and maid of honor speech from Stephen and Mal :3
When come across this vlog again through the journey, I was like "Yep, I remember this vlog well on the first quest." Fantastic proposal by Alex and no hesitation on the sure, great stuff right there.
He didn't care about it being filmed, but he wanted Mal and me there, which we really appreciated. He's been planning on proposing for quite some time.

I was pretty excited to see the Griffith Observatory when my friend went there in GTAV, and still excited when you, Stephen, went there and... Didn't recognize it. But, hey, now you can say, "It's from the game!" again Alex's proposal was pretty charming and silly, too, but still pretty sweet. Congratulations!
Kula is hands down our favorite place to eat now. Decently affordable, you can eat just what you want, and when you're feeling antisocial you don't have to talk to anyone. :)

I do have to say this wasn't spontaneous- yes, I was very surprised because I wasn't expecting it so soon, but this has been the works for a long time. I actually picked the ring out a few months earlier- that's why I was so worried about if it fit! I kept telling Alex I was terrified that the ring would arrive and I would find out that I sized myself wrong. We sorta did things our way, and I want people to know that. Proposals should NEVER be a surprise. Sure, the proposing can, but springing stuff like this on people typically ends badly. :)
Well yeah, I imagine it would be terrible if one person wasn't okay with the whole thing, so it's better that both of them know it will happen; it's just a matter of when it will happen. (besides, I was mostly surprised because I thought you two were already married, haha)
