Great to see the route again. Traveled to the US in 2019 with my wife and two boys and did the Route 66 from Chicago to Los Angeles. What a trip. Just did Japan, but the Route 66 is something speciel.
I was a little boy in the early 1960s my parents would take route 66. What was amazing was that long trip I seen almost endless signs and they were right beside the Road they didn't have any regulations for safety. Lord I miss them days and my parents 😥
Blessings in an abundance of the faith. I salute you. 😘🙏Grace and peace be unto you and to this place. God, thank you for salvations. Thank you for travel safety, thank you for good roads, thank you for gas and oil and a tuned up car. Everyday. Thank you that it is well with our souls in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen 🙏 🤍
@@travelthetop We are going next year in about 15 months so we’re just looking at You Tube first. But it will definitely happen. Our first trip overseas ( from Australia)
You should have mentioned Springfield MO and San Bernardino CA , both cities are on route 66. I have lived in both cities. Lots of history and things to do. Bass Pro headquarters and the first McDonald's.
This is amazing! Route 66 is such a legendary trip. Which stop surprised you the most, and is there a hidden gem you’d recommend that most people miss?
Hi from Scotland 🏴🥃 basically I'm planning on running away to Vegas and getting married and travel back through America to the east coast and fly back from there ✈️ catching all the southern states in the process. See some saloon bars and cowboys and stuff like that 🤠 any information on the best way to do this ?
Thanx for the Info. 👍I always wondered how to catch Route 66 in Chicago & I never realized that it could take me right to Santa Monica Pier. I know someone who lives in the area, so I'll have to surprise her sometime. I hope she isn't armed! 😱
@@bobk1126 your right but its still really good spot so is the old minners town its on the older tail across America one of the 1st ways out west flagstaff an grand canyon aren't on it either but great to see if you never wont be upset not just a hole in the ground
@@cavecookie1 oatman is sooo cool, I bet it was cool living there, I love the Burroughs or donkeys , not sure why they just didn't film oatman for the video.
@@bobbywhiteman9421 It was a special time in my life. Didn't make a lot of money, but didn't need a lot, and the experience was priceless! Net gain, in my book!
@@bobbywhiteman9421 Well, the lifestyle isn't for everyone, but I fit right in with the rest of the oddballs! Mufflerman was made by my dad Bill Swan at international fiberglass along with many other iconic fiberglass statues
That‘s so cool!
So cool!
Great description of Route 66........From Beginning to End......
Thanks, I’m glad you liked the video!
I would also stop at Williams Arizona. Loved that town and the Grand Canyon Railroad. Great Route 66 vibes.
Thanks for the recommendation!
Williams was nice. Ride to Grand Canyon was very nice, although not very scenic.

Very nice video and route 66 is on my short list. Thanks for sharing and take care. Dave.
Thank you. You won’t regret it ;)
You too!
Well done!
Thank you, I‘m glad you like the video!
Oatman, Arizona, is worth a trip at any time.
Tourist trap
THANK YOU FOR SHARING 🇺🇸
You’re welcome, I’m glad you liked the video! :)
You missed Oatman Az ,a really cool town west of Kingman.
Thanks for the comment! Maybe I should make a second part of the video…
It was mentioned.
Amazing
Thank you! 😊
Oatman, Seligman, Kingman, Santa Fe … to name a few great towns you missed.
True, I should make a video with some places that are missing in this video… but Oatman I mentioned!
Thanks for the comment though ;)
We can’t wait to do Route 66
Is your trip there already planned?

Gotta love a guy with a foreign accent making the video.

What happened to the Dixie Truck Stop north of Springfield IL?
It's still there.
You did good, but you had a drone shot of Roy's a little early in the video friend.
I was going to mention that. Showed Ray's Motel whilst talking about Galena, Kansas.
Subscribed. Love your accent. Serbia?
You should see 4 points Arizona its where 4 states meet
Thanks for the recommendation! 😊
It's not anywhere near the route.

Are you talking about Four Corners: Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, and Utah?
So much of the video doesn’t match the commentary. For example you see a video of Roy’s while the audio is talking about Kansas.
You missed out dwight with its restored route 66 gas station
Is it ok to do this in October
Sorry for the late reply!
Yes, you can do it in October. Just prepare for rapid weather changes. Also, the eastern part may be cooler than you think.
Sorry, but that was not the Rainbow Bridge at 4:57
You mixed a couple of California stops in with KANSAS😂
That was NOT oatman in this video
As someone who lived there through the 90s, you are correct!

the number of pronunciation errors is maddening. he even called the Big Texan Big Texas.
I'm gonna guess that you are a Scorpio.
very hard to listen because of the accent. couldn't understand half of it
I honestly was so bored that I fell asleep then woke up bc of how annoying his voice was lol 😂🎉😮❤😅
then he pronounces first location wrong. im so offended
Russia?
