It's been a year or so since I followed daily StephenPlays, and I only started to be consistent on the vlogs since April, so yeah, I'm fairly new compared to a lot of people here, but everyone is welcoming and nice in the comments, it's a pleasure :)
i feel like i could go to a They Might be Giants concert without knowing any of there songs and still have one of the best concert experiences ever

I was wallowing in self pity when I suddenly noticed myself smiling. Your vlog always brings such joy, I just wanted you to know. Though I know you hear that all the time >
I tried to get into TMBG when I was younger but nothing really peaked my interest. Recently I gave them another try and I'm finding I really like them. A only know a few songs right now but this vlog will definitely help me expand that list.

This is really cool actually seeing a location close to me on the vlog for the first time!! Also, the Fish Market is one of my absolute FAVORITE places to eat!!!

It’s been forever since I’ve been so i don’t know if the menu has changed, but i LOVED the Athenian entree!! It’s more of a Greek style, and it’s fish (i usually got the grouper) with Greek spices, feta cheese and other toppings. So good!!! They had opened up a location where i live (about an hour away) but it ended up closing :’(

I don't know if I can pick one favorite song but as for favorite albums I've been loving I Like Fun, but Lincoln, the pink album, and Join Us are up there!

Laika's anxious and protectiveness is a lot like my family's dog, Ridley, which makes me feel a lot better about his behavior.
He doesn't like strangers and whines and barks at people he doesn't see every 5 minutes. He's not aggressive or anything, he's just really anxious, protective, and mouthy because they're catahoula things. He also gets out of trouble for being a butthead because he's really cute and means well.
DynamoDuskull yeah, Laika’s super gentle but just worried people are coming to take all the nice things she has. She’s getting a lot better! I’ve heard shy dogs “age like fine wine” and often improve over the course of their life. Alex and I notice differences between months.
We’re pretty strict about no barking, but we live in an apartment. She’s gotten a lot better since they visited.
I've always been a Cliff Richard fan for life. But They Might Be Giants is awesome, too. Some of my favourites by them include 'Man, It's So Loud In Here' and 'How Many Planets'. I've never been to a They Might Be Giants concert, nor have I ever been to a Cliff Richard concert. But I'm a huge fan of music I feel makes me think of different things that I feel could easily count as entertaining to read about and maybe even more fun to see.

I went to see them on that tour when they came to Charleston, SC, and they were definitely entertaining (especially for a guy who knows probably 5 songs of theirs).
Birdhouse in Your Soul is a great one, that and You're on Fire are probably two of my faves.

Alex's Accent and way of talking is very interesting. Its very southern in words but also very midwestern in speech patterns

Trying to pick a favorite They Might Be Giants song is like trying to choose a favorite child. Minimum Wage? Fingertips, with all of it's twenty-one strange-but-oddly-wonderful little pieces? Spider? The Statue Got Me High? AKA(Nyquil) Driver? I Palidrome I? Man, It's So Loud In Here (boy, that's got a great hook!)? Bastard Wants To Hit Me? Contrecoup? Older, which I now sing regularly at people's birthday parties(yes, I'm THAT guy)? You see my problem, right? Hoo boy. I guess I'll have to go with the strangest one I know all the lyrics of: Lucky Ball And Chain.

Okay, yeah. Fresh 2 Order is a restaurant that sells food. But that is legitimately one of my favorite restaurants in the Atlanta area. It is really good.

It's funny to watch this back and hear Stephen say "a lot of people watching this don't know you have a dog." Because all I can think is, yeah and all of us had no idea they were getting married. Once college was over, Alex and Hayley have been off the radar.. which is a good thing but also a bad thing?

I've never been to a They Might Be Giants concert before. But I guess I can always record an album with a little help from a few friends of mine. So I'm gonna be doing a lot of work to get some money in for whatever I'd like to do.

My dog also has anxiety problems so what we did was get him a collar that gives off a relaxing aroma.

NintendoMaster probably a different collar than what they’re talking about but Thundershirts work really well for fireworks, thunder, separation anxiety, etc. and they sell scents that you can put on the Thundershirt to help dogs relax
Emily EmKaKe I have tried Thundershirt for my dog it didn’t do anything unfortunately. But I didn’t know they also sold sprays. I’m going to look into that. Thanks!
By the way, they do sell Milo's at Walmart (at least where I'm at, somewhere between Dayton and Muncie).
So I looked up They Might Be Giants and the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse theme song came up, and I thought "Oh, it’s like a joke cover of the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse theme song" and I listened to it. It was the actual freaking theme, what the heck is this band?

Did you name your dog "Laika", or was she already named that? I ask because Laika was the first animal to orbit the Earth, on the Soviet Sputnik 2.
Tubewings she didn’t have a name- just a temporary one they gave her at the shelter. She was shoved in a crate somewhere having puppies so she didn’t have an owner or anything. We named her after the original Laika, of course!
She looks a lot like her. I always wanted to name my future dog Laika after I heard the story. Turns out Alex did too! We had already named her before we even left the humane society. We told her she wasn’t allowed to go to space.
I’m surprised so many people don’t know about Laika, and ask if we named her after the animation company. It’s just an awful story that breaks my heart. They admit her death wasn’t worth the information they collected.

Lol Phil Collins's birthday is Jan 30, so that was very appropriate.
It's a little funny seeing everyone complain about how cold it was where they lived without a single drop of snow while where I lived everyone was complaining that we couldn't get a snow day with 6 inches and it being below 10 degrees at the time this was released.
