J Sai Deepak, a native of undivided Andhra Pradesh, did his schooling in Hyderabad followed by a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University and finally an LLB from IIT Kharagpur. I am born Gay and Hindu. I have not found a single shloka in the shastras that declares my birth or existence as either sinful or unnatural. I do not believe my orientation is a norm or could be a norm, it is just a natural variety that will remain a minority just like all varieties are and minority variety by itself cannot be a norm. My life is exactly like everyone else, birth-family-education-work-relationship-seva-retirement-death. Just one single thing is different-my relationship will be with a person of the same sex and will come with all the same "kabhi kushi kabhi gham" elements of a heterosexual relationship. Dharma-kama-artha-moksha are the same for me as everyone else. I live in a country that allows me to marry & even have pandits who will perform my wedding, if and when I choose to. I do not need any extra rights or privileges nor my orientation be a subject of public debate nor education to children in school. If the law accords me the same right to life and protection as any other citizen, i shall not want or expect anything more. I agree with JSD on his view and India should accost the subject the way that she seems fit for the time and circumstances and not through western pressure or anything else. My country is the first country in the world to allow gays to marry by a vote-the people went to the polls and decided they want people like me to marry if we so wish and I am very blessed that way. So some Indian LGBT might think I am confortable and safe here hence my opinion but I remind them that i lived and thrived even before the law was passed. But also want to point out that there is now an LGBT/Marxist alliance(mostly TRANS-gender fluid-non binary crazies) which is so virulent that people who voted yes and were kind to LGBT before are turning against us because of the gang! So India should really be careful about this and not blame normal gay people who just want to live in peace within society just like every other person.

Pashubali is part of rituals in many regional and tribal communities. Dont just think Hinduism/Sanatan dharma as you concieve from Instagram. Here in Nepal, it is mandatory for each community shakti mandir to sacrifice a male buffalo or black goat, on the ocassion of Mahaashtami and Mahanavami. Even Ashvamedha yajna is a ritual mentioned in Rig Veda. So Pashubali is a part of Hinduism as well.

@@CovidPositive It is not just "somewhere", its actually written in Samhita of RigVeda, which can be considered as the foundation of Hinduism before upanisadhs and purans arrived. And, many tribals or Janajati, who partially practice Hinduism and majorly remained unique to their way of spiritual practice, they still practice this. For example(I am from Nepal), here we practice Dusshera as Dashain(दशै). And particularly on the occasion of Asthamitithi or Kaalratri and Navami, Kalika temples around Nepal, each and every temples, there is Pashubali. Even communist regime couldn't stop this, though they have narrated Pashubali as superstitions. Nobody listens to them except few of their Karyakartas and Pro-West Medias who constantly make noise regarding this issue. FYI, most of the large media houses in Nepal are under the control of Open Society Foundation(yes same ngo founded by George Soros).

For once, I disagree with JSD. I expected a more rational and logical answer from him. All he said was a more polished version of homophobia.
Just to make myself clear, I do agree there is a strong agenda to push LGBTQ+ as a norm from the west. But I fail to understand what is the problem in making it a norm. Is the standard of my religion Hindhuism so low, that it won't let me treat two people who have a different sexual orientation to mine, as two human beings?
There are various references of gender fluidity in our ancient books. Will it be said now that that is all wrong? Lord Ayyappa whose case JSD talks about all the time, is the son of Vishnu (Hari) and Shiva (Hara), and hence the name Hari-Hara Putra. There are several other examples that show how diverse amd inclusive Hindhuism is with genders.
People don't wake up one fine day and change their gender or sexual orientation, neither is it a mental disorder. They are just born different, you or me may not like them, and the thought of it may sound disgusting, but just them live their life in their own terms. As long as they don't try to shove those ideas down our throats, its not a problem at all.

Coz you see I am a sanatani sikh my father is a sikh and mother is a Hindu and they don’t have any problem with lgbtq community of India. We are nothing but supportive but what about the biggest minority of India ? The Muslims ? According to their religion it’s a sin! There are about 50 Muslim countries in the world and ain’t no gay, lesbians and transgender allowed there. India is still a developing nation but what about the developed countries why have they not been able to convince the 50 Muslim nations to accept lgbtq rights? And let’s say hypothetically if tomorrow Supreme Court allows the wedding and all, are you really that naive to think that there aren’t gonna be riots by the peaceful community in this country? Are lgbtq activists on India ready to take responsibility of the murders of innocent civilians? As long as there ain’t uniform civil code in India a lot of things can’t be implemented and it’s a fact.

Do you even know what they do to lgbtq people ? India is still a third world country but has the developed countries in the world been able to convince the 50 Muslims countries to accept lgbtq right? What if Supreme Court allows the wedding and all do you think there ain’t gonna be riots in the country by the peaceful community? And if they happen and people like us get killed who are nothing but supportive of lgbtq, are the lgbtq people of India going to take full accountability of our murders? ?
