- In this talk, Sai answers a question on things a Hindu must do in order to protect the civilization. All these points can be practiced by any Hindu and not at all dependent on the state.
1. Learn your mother tongue. Equip with knowledge of your literature.
2. Visible symbols - Start practicing
3. Take ownership of local temple.
4. Do not reduce any of your festivals to mere celebratory activity. Explain the significance.
5. Go back to traditional institutions - Traditional guru and mathas.
6. Park 10% of revenue to support cause.
7. Hinduism is NOT a pacifist religion. Revival of Shastra spirit is CRITICAL.

Let me summarise it - 5 things a Hindu must do
1) Embrace our visible symbols of faith(tilak, kalava, kada, Om, swastika etc), respect them and make sure they become part of you
2) Be well verse in mother tongue, read spiritual and traditional literature in own language - very important for cultural identity
3) Participate in activities at own Local temple, organise collective functions; Engage with own traditional Sampraday Or any Dharmic organization to have a social support, contribute monetarily to further Dharmic cause. At least 10% of your income should go in Dharmic cause and solidarity.
4) Celebrate festivals with both joy and sensitivity(rituals, values, teachings, prayers). Do not loose the foundations of our festivals.
5) Keep yourself physically and mentally fit - never be afraid to fight for Dharma. Inculcate the values of Gita in daily life

Especially the fifth point must be given most attention to, because an unfit body and mind erodes a person gradually.

Yes, you are correct. I do most of these except point 2. But need to do all these more frequently they way he suggested. Lets do it and make your children to do this. It will take two generations to bring things to back on track.

It's their goal to turn you into one of them, I.e. to covert you into a Muslim person. I have heard a lot of cases where a "so called" Muslim friend has manipulated his or her Hindu friend into joining the Muslim religion. Be safe.
If you are a Keralite, I take it that you are an educated person. But do you know that before entering Sabarimala temple during a certain festival (I don't recall the name of the festival), the devotees must first go through a mosque and a church?? This was because Lord Ayyappa had a Muslim and a Christian as his best friends. So, they are ALSO very much a part of your "culture"...

Outstanding!..As a Bengali, point no 5 is the exact reason why I hate Bengalis today. Durgapuja today has become an excuse for secularism and drinking alcohol. Whereas Bengalis today are totally unaware of the very meaning of the portrait of a Durga idol. It is not a message of peace nor of passivism. It is about NECESSARY VIOLENCE against evil. Hinduism has over the millennia taught us to take up arms when needed.

I learnt Hindi Marathi Gujarati fluently& now I learnt little bit telugu & Kannada.

Sir, Me being from Jain community also follow Hinduism.I would like to suggest one important point to our Hindu brothers here about Hindu population & that is a married Hindu couple should'nt restrict themselves to 1 or 2 child policy if they are capable enough to raise more than 2 childs, why I'am telling this is because we Jains did this mistake of having only 1 or 2 child even though we were financially, physically & psychologically were capable enough. I don't why almost every one in our community restricted our-self to 1or2 childs may be because of Govt's much anticipated population control ads ( which was mostly followed by Hindus & Jains Only ) & this resulted in diminishing our Jain population & we (Jains) may not exist by end of next century. We are already facing consequential damages to many religious places & temples of our community as there's no one's there to physically maintain them.Some how we are getting them mantained by hiring people but for how long that remains a question. So please I request all Hindu brothers not to do the same mistake of as we Jains did. The day when first your child goes to Playhome or Nursery school immediate parallelly start educating your child with religious scriptures & religious books as a mandatory practice for a child. Most of we Jains used to practice this before and slowly this is also diminishing. Jain Hind!!
Brother, what your community did was wise. Just by increasing the number and making all of them will not make you win. Just see, your population may be less but you can influence and get things done easily. So go by quality and not by quantity. Also it is our country and we do not want to overload it by population just to compete with them. For them, they never thought this as their country and they just just suck the blood out of it at every opportunity (Take all Govt benefits, Take all the jobs like puncture, mutton shop, reddi bawla etc, where they do not pay any tax, Stone pelting, Burn public assets etc. and of course bombing where ever possible, you name it they do all to hurt India. Rest of us do not do this because it is our country, our Mother and how can we hurt her? Hope you understand.

From all these points: I speak Hindi more than my peers and read a Hindu newspaper and write my thoughts in Hindi script. For visible symbols I plan to get a Rudraksh mala I can wear on my wrist and up an Om symbol outside my house. I currently give money to an online community who takes down anti Hindu posts, I'll look out for more who are doing their bit. And I recognize the importance of necessary violence for self-defense and community defense.

1 - I wear the sacred thread
2- I speak multiple languages and love discussions in vernacular
3- I volunteer in the local temples and engage pundits for traditional poojais
4- I celebrate all Hindu festivals with my son ( did his janeyu last week)
5- gym 4 days a week and read a book every week
6- most important I ve learnt to read and write and Sanskrit.

@@MineshBaxiYTstupid question, any body who are living unattached coppreal life, showering compassion to all living beings and living a virtual life will have his salvation not as in your Christianity, but without rebirth and will be in ever ending tranqulity or bliss as part of Parabhrimam or what u people perceive as God or Allah.
That won't help to revive the Hindu spirit. There will come a day when sacred threads and janeyu won't be of significance. These are basically small rituals. Poojas won't help either. If we call the dharm as Sanatan then the way of protecting it must be too. Reading a scripture might be of some help as it gives you some idea of the culture you follow the civilization you belong to and your religious identity. But regularly visiting temples won't be because they are under state control ( mostly in the Southern states ). So first there needs to be a countrywide change accompanied by personal contribution. Freeing temples from state control, putting a stop the agenda of minority appeasement, demolition of castes, implementing anti conversion laws, teaching correct history in schools, ending the propaganda of pseudo secularism ( that can be only done if common masses understand that they are being fooled ), accepting the mistakes of the past and correcting them, CAA, UCC, abolition of Waqf Board, ending the Nort-South divide, solving the Kashmiri Hindu's problems, etc. These are some of the steps that can be taken to improve the situation

Last one, I am not sure how and where to start. First I should prepare myself mentally, as from childhood we are taught not to harm even an ant. First two, I'm following already. I wear tilak everyday everywere, I pratice yoga, I follow my Guru and lastly I workout for strength I carry a knife with me.
I have 3 out of 5 points covered.
Now i need to make sure I visit my area temple everyday and make monetary contributions to the Hindu cause and celebrate my festivity on a much grander scale.

I am from bengal, we lost every traditions due to long cpi rule even our elder also. We as a new generation need to re-establish tradition. So request mr. Sai or mr. Anand or any other, Please arange to establish one organization to manage community wise Sanskrit language, daily duty, living rule, traditions, astrology, ayurvedic practices so that we can follow with our profession.

Here is what I have started doing:
1. Avoid watching TV and if required only watch educational content in line with Dharma.
2. Avoid giving my business to Non-Hindus as much as possible.
3. Give charity to Hindu organizations at local as well as at national level.
4. Support authors like JSD, Vikram Samapth etc.

Collaborate with nearby temple, give them ideas as to how to reach the Hindus living near by. Temple community do not have these skills of community development activity. So may be try reach them with this idea. It will make the community stronger.
Do something in tackling christian conversion. Like helping poor hindus.

Most of our hindu children are unaware of the significance and importance of festivals. Because they are not told by the parents, schools. Parents should imparts these to their children from the very young.
I am born as Hindu but am actually agnostic. Yet I fully support Hindus in their process to start strengthening their religious, social, cultural and political foundations in this country. If Christianity with it's opportunistic evangelism and Islam with coercive conversions is condoned, then we cannot expect a miracle from any one prime minister or even a party to help us. For a great leader to succeed, we must prepare ourselves to be led first. It's not the same as doing nothing. Liberal ideas like secularism are something we can afford only when things are completely in our country's favour with respect to economy, domestic affairs and foreign affairs. Like the UK and USA who have already solved most of their main problems. It's time that Hindus started to show some spine after more than a thousand years of op*pres*sion and geno*cide.
