MOONX ix [The †reasure]

[The †reasure] is the ninth of 12 sets based on Fibonacci's golden spiral, and merges the figures 21 (the number of solar rays in the flag of Kurdistan), 89 (Actinium, which was one of the first non-primordial radioactive elements to be isolated) and 344 (the speed of sound in air at room temperature equals 344 m/s).
The set is realised using a glass bead as the single object and limiting the manipulation of the sound source to the parameters of the 3 specific numerical values, 21, 89 and 344.

This mass of assembled cells.
The downcast eyes, the curved back and absence of touch.
This tactile impulse that stirs too close, like a captive jellyfish, and inflames the need for thought.
Thought, critical and constant: an act of living and not just breathing.
Breathing the void, the black hole that swallows us, that swallows empathy.
Empathy dehumanised on the curve of a sofa, in the comfort of a room isolated from the rest.
A confined place in which one pretends to experience the world.
World, this rubbish bin, full of microevents, single drives and intellectual egoism.
Intellect: the great absentee.

Questa massa di cellule assemblate.
Gli occhi bassi, la schiena curva e assenza di tatto.
Questo impulso tattile che si agita troppo vicino, come una medusa cattività, e che infiamma la necessità di pensiero.
Pensiero, critico e costante, atto al vivere e non solo al respirare.
Respirare il vuoto, il buco nero che ci inghiotte, che inghiotte l’empatia.
Empatia disumanizzata fra le curve di un divano, nel comfort di una stanza isolata dal resto.
Un luogo piccolo nel quale si pretende di vivere il mondo.
Mondo, questo cestino di rifiuti, colmo di micro-eventi, singole spinte ed egoismo intellettivo.
Intelletto: il grande assente.
