What does £13,000 get you? Skoda Kamiq used review

- The Skoda Kamiq might have been facelifted earlier in 2024, but the original car that launched in 2019 is still a brilliant small crossover/SUV. Tim's found an entry-level one that's up for sale for £13,000 - so how does it stand up? Tim tests the driving performance, the practicality, in-car technology, boot space, rear-seat space and more. You just have to get through a weird intro about Toblerones first.

I have the 1.5 and it can shift! Also does 61 mpg on long drive 38/40 around town very very comfortable. Don't like the stop start and side assist though both are dangerous in my opinion so I have to remember to turn them off at the start of each journey. I have the SEL 7gear dsg gear box. Also has temp control knobs just make sure it's in manual mode - Nice smart practical car
Bought one a few months ago, its a fab family car its great for the everyday but also adaptable for those trips away with the roof bars. Plus that 1.0 with the 6 speed is really great, bit of punch when you need it plus I get between 55-60 mpg on an A road and motorway driving. Id recommend the SEL trim as it has the digial dash just makes it feel expensive and modern.
Best value family car in 2024 easily!
Had one of these in top spec and was fantastic! Great boot space and cabin massive compared to similar cars in this class. Only thing missing was rear camera but as it was small it wasn’t an issue
Excellent quality video. Wishing you more subscribers and views 🍀
I’ve had Skoda Scala SEL 110TSI for the last 4 years (£125/m on a lease). The best value car I’ve ever owned,
Great practicality and Czech-ness!
I love that engine and gearbox combo. Really quite satisfying to punt along 🤓
Swiss and dubious treatment of prisoners 🤔
Buy one in Bulgaria and I love it!
Tim Roddie is my hero
Perhaps you should learn to spell his name, then.

Very nice car, had one as a loan and I loved it, but didn't love all the heating controls being on screen...very difficult to sort that out while driving, proper dials are best for me personally. Also didn't like that I couldn't turn the lane steering assist off permanently. And I also don't like that in Rip Off Ireland, 2019 models are selling for 20,000 euro...way more (as usual) than UK prices.....**edit....note to self, watch before comment....the one i had was brand new model, just noticed the one you had did have dials......rushing out to buy one as we speak 😅😅
The most stylish to me is the Audi Q3 Sportback. Possibly my favorite.
Heavy chat , with a decent engine. Miles behind Japanese and Koreans .
Feels like the Asian brands are the brands that are making the most interesting cars these days
No chance, modern Skodas are up there with them. I know, I’ve had them all.
Reviewers😢 90 bhp not enough but 110 is. Check the torque curves. Same old quips by every reviewer. Put some unpaid owners on instead
OMG a sensable car no1 needs to go tree menus on a screen just to turn the temp up or
down
