This is hands down the best video of hair loss on yt and I’ve watched dozens. Especially for guys our age it’s tough. Highly appreciate you putting out this solid content
Guys, don't lose hope. As someone who has the most aggressive hair loss (my two brothers were Norwood 7 by 28-30), not to mention aggressive retrograde alopecia as well, all my cousins in both families are Norwood 6-7 by 30. I am 32 and have managed to keep 90% of my hair. Unfortunately I experienced bad side effects from finasteride and had to quit. However, using minoxidil + microneedling saved my hair. I strongly believe that DHT is related to blood circulation, which in turn due to low supply leads to hair loss. I used a derma roller + minoxidil and kept losing hair. Once I switched to a high-quality pen, within two months my shedding stopped and my hair started to get thicker by month 4 with a lot of new growth. I have followed this protocol for 5 years and haven't lost ground. It's possible-just be consistent. use a good Pen and do NOT skip sessions. If it worked for me, it should work for EVERYONE.
I'm only 15 and im experiencing exactly everything you have explained. Receeding hairline, sides not growing but back is perfectly fine and i got some bald spots. I hope this video can help me out wish me luck :)
@@ChrisMisc1it cuts small incisions which will cause your body to heal the spot causing blood flow to the area cut and hopefully causing hair growth as well
I'm 35, mine grew back from norwood 3 vertx back to my teenage hairline in just over a year. I changed my diet to just meat, vegetables and fruit with nothing processed and no sugar, limited stress and minoxidil topical once daily and a weekly 1.5mm dermal stamp. I couldn't beleive it!!
This video is exactly what I needed. Relate to this in so many ways, especially the part where you’re known for your good hair and then it just drastically starts going, I’m 16, this gives me, and all the unlucky dudes hope
crazy, i used to have the thickest curly hair, and now i feel like a shell of my self. was the only thing really going for me. i see you commented 4 months ago, hows your progress. ive started minoxidil and finestride about 1 month and a half. lets hope i can fix it

You got lucky in the sense that you had a lot of diffuse thinning all around but not a ton of recessions or dead zones. Considering you caught the hairs while most of them were miniaturized or just recently in dormancy you were able to get great recovery, you were most definitely a hyper responder. You pretty much fully recovered your loss from the looks of it. It should be said that the vast majority of people should not expect these results.
Im also 19, starting to notice some thinning at the front of my head. When its wet or light hits my scalp becomes slightly visible. I'm scared of using finasteride due to the side effects. Kinda lost atm ngl.
Start with just minoxidl and dermarolling in the mean time go see a dermatologist, they will be able to examine your scalp and give you a better idea if finasteride will be worth it. @@MalikTalks101
Not even dermatologist can explain the androgenic alopecia this detailed. Doctors do prescribe medicine, but this guy is amazing. I have the similar problem. Initially started losing the hairs on right side during my teenage. Just started the treatment with hope. Thank you for sharing your experience. I wish guys with similar problems see this and have proper idea of what's going on the scalp.
@@Pranav-rp8wi if you take a 5ar inhibitor like finasteride or Dutasteride, yes. If you don’t, you’re not going to win the fight against hair loss. The hair oils and derma rolling are great for on the side to improve some spots, but without targeting the problem (DHT), it will not work for u.
@@Daniel-nm2qb I've gotten to the point where the hair on my scalp is pretty much all gone, sp i don't know how any of those are going to help me, although to be honest, the eholr side effects thing is a massive turn off. As is having to keep doing it for basically the remainder of my life.
@@ThisHandleSystemCanGetNicked here’s the thing bro, you never really know how much you can get back. I’m on finasteride, and the side effects scared me so much at first. As I took time to watch a few positive videos on finasteride (look up haircafe on UA-cam), I eased into it. You still can at least “try.” And no. Side effects are NOT TERMINAL. Post Finasteride Syndrome is NOT REAL. Finasteride half life is hours, so if you get a side effect, you can always lower the dose by splitting the pill or just completely get off it. I wouldn’t give up just yet brother. Just some tips. Lmk if this helps.
I too have male pattern hairloss, i am almost 31, and want to let you guys into some info. So after i've done some research (mostly scientific papers). What you guys would like to do it use natural oils (rosemary oil, peppermint oil, tea tree oil, lavender oil, and lemon oil) rosemary should be the higgest concentration around 10%, the rest between 5-7% (volume/volume). I suggest you use them twice/week and leave them on your scalp for like 1-4 hours or more depends on what you schedule is. Avoid shampoos with sodium laureath sulphate, lauryl sulphate, sodium chloride, why? They are powerful cleansers and leave your scalp dry after washing (removing also the oils that your scalp produce and you may get itchy reddish scalp afterwards). A 0.5 mm dermaroller works best for the start, or dermapen for extra bucks (any dermapen) until you get accomodated, then hop onto a 1 mm (why? Because we got STEM cells at 0.7 mm into our scalp and with the dermaroller/pen we can 'activate' them by causing inflammation through puncturing the scalp, this will make them hop on and promote healing the scalp, thus promoting blood flow with oxygen and nutritents to the hair follicle, and by dermarolling/pen'ing you also increase the collagen concentration on your scalp which has benefits for your hair follicle). Forgot to mention this, you can also ingest pumpkin seed pills and also apply pumpkin seed oil together with rosemary, etc. As a carrier for the oils you can also use a combo of pumpkin seed oil + castor oil and then pour the essential oils into it, rosemary, pepperming, lavender, tea tree, etc. Pumpkin seeds/oil lower the overall DHT level (not on the same level as dutasteride/finasteride). Also, try lowering your overall sugar consumption, due to the fact that sugar may induce OXIDATIVE Stress onto your scalp, and overall cause arterial clogging. Hope this may come in handy ! May all your heads will be full of hair !
Once the topical regimen becomes a habit, it's really not hard to keep it up. Consistency is key. It takes a couple minutes. You're already brushing your teeth after waking up or before bed. Rubbing some minox onto your scalp on top is easy. Treat it as a self-care massage 😅
@@computer-r1k No, if you only take minoxidil your hair follicles will still be miniaturised over time. Your hair will grow but ultimately fall out in the end. You need something which halts the DHT. Minoxidil is for regrowth, finasteride is to prevent loss and address the DHT issue. You need to take both.
Hey guys! Just wanted to say, keep fighting! I started diffuse thinning at 18 and it happened FAST. My hairline was decimated and my overall density was shot to hell. I got on finasteride and minoxidil and made progress. It was not until I added in a dermapen that my results practically doubled. I did end up getting a hair transplant on the frontal 3rd of my head to restore my hairline (which never came back with previous treatment). The key to success is to get on the Big Three (Fin, Min, and Microneedling/or Ketoconizole) IMMEDIATLEY. This is a battle that can be won. No matter what, life is short, and I'd advice to find happiness in God and your family and not in hair. Stay strong KINGS!
Congrats man I'm 34 diffused thinner started dutasteride and minoxidil just 45 days in noticed slight improvement, but waiting for 3-4 months to see significant growth

Happy to hear your good results man, I'm recovering to a point where I'm not wearing a hat at all times any more and I'm fairly happy with my hair. My family is similar to yours thin hair on dads side and my mums dad died with a better hairline than I had at 25.
@popcorn177 yeah basically smooth crown, can't say how long it was to get results maybe started coming in around 4 to 6 months, but you should start as soon as possible. Not everyone responds the same so your results will vary.
Be aware that once you start using these drugs like Minoxidil, finasteride or dutasteride. You have to use it for life long. You cannot stop the treatment orelse even the little hair thats left on your head, everything will fall off within few months.
So crazy how your story is identical to mine with my mom's dad having the best hair possible and yet his son (my uncle) fighting against hair loss with the age of 34. I have newly started minoxidil and add the microneedling. I really dont wanna use finasteride but if i got no other choice... 20 years here btw
Same bro, I’m 15 and I have the same exact story, both of my uncles from my moms side have thin hair while my grandpa has the THICKEST and healthy hair, shi just unlucky for me fr
Just shave it off. I'm starting to get a bald spot on my right side. I wil try to more eat hair health-rich foods...i'll see if that helps. If it gets worse, i'm shaving it.
@lancevance781 i believe i’m going through the same thing right now. and unfortunately for ppl like me i’m only 19 and i’m going into college, do you suggest i stay home and go to community college so i can focus on my hair more or go off to university and be broke. i know that the hair loss treatments can be expensive so i was just asking for guidance??
1)Minoxidil 2) finesteride 3)dermapan 4)kenekortezol shampoo 5)amla juice & alovera juice 6)pumkin seeds 7) try to get vit c/e gives anti-aging 8) avoid heat 9) avoid stress 10) get regular prp 11) do your best and leave everything to god 😊
It’s amazing that this worked for you so well! Unfortunately for me, I had gynecomastia for which I had surgery already and recurrence is a risk I am simply not willing to take. Feeling like you have a female chest is a BEYOND horrifying feeling. Just like hair loss. Sigh.
Having pubertal gyno does not mean you have an increased risk of getting gyno from the slight increased testosterone (10-15%) from finasteride. Your hormone profile will be completely different from peak puberty. Also since you had most the tissue removed via surgery it's probably less likely to reoccur, you can also cease use if you start to see gyno symptoms and your testosterone will go back down 10-15% -> less estrogen conversion
Even though i am a girl i wanted to give some extra additional solutions for hair care. Black Jamaican Castor Oil is very good for the hair follicles. I recommend to put it on the hair, one half an hour to an hour before you wash it with shampoo. Might want to apply it once a week, since it can clog the pores if used too much. I had to deal with hair loss as well and my home remedy is: Moringa Powder, Clove, Rosemary and Hibiscus leafs. Mix it all together in a glass bottle, then put hot water in it, leave it for at least a day, better is 2 or 3. After it cooled down put the mixture in the fridge (For me it stayed fresh in the fridge up to a month) and then use a sieve, filter out the excess and fill it in a spray bottle. You can use this spray everyday. Gently rub it into your scalp, then work your way down. For the leave in conditioner you can use only the fresh rosemary and clove and heat it up with a light oil of your choice or water (in case oil is too heavy for your hair) and put a few drops into your leave in condition of your choice. Hope this helps somebody. i saw those remedies by other youtubers and gave it a try. My edges have grown in like crazy and i use it for around a month now.
Thanks for the video! I'm not a beginner at hair loss unfortunately. I started at 17-18 and it seemed it stopped at 26-27. Never did any treatment during that period. But also never decided to shave my scalp. Didn't want that by any means. It certainly affected my confidence and self-esteem in general. Now I'm 35 and there's very little change to the worst. My barber and a couple of doctors said that typically androgen alopecia stops at around 30yo in most cases and since not much worsen in the last 5-6 years there's nothing to be afraid of in the future and that I'm not going to loose any more hair. During the last 1 year I use a daily treatment made by my barber containing aloe and castor oil. Also I've been using beer shampoo or shampoo for babies due to pH. Lately I found out about micro needling and started watching videos to learn more. In the picture with the phases of alopecia I'm in the middle of 4-5 but only talking about the affected area in general. Im not bald there. There are hair but few and very thinn. Do you think micro needling combined with minoxidil would help me? How often should I use the pen? Thanks anyway ❤
Seems like you know about this topic. I‘m almost 24 now and I noticed that at the age between 16 and 19 my temple area got higher and my hairline is now M shaped. In the middle part is no recession. I was monitoring my hair in the past two years and there was no change. Is it considered as stable then or could it go away further in future?
I also lost my hair between the ages of 16 and 18, and noticed it only at the age of 21. I had cat ears and they did not go higher, but I had covid and this became a trigger factor for the continuation of androgenic alopecia, I had vitamin d deficiency and chronic stress. Therefore, in theory, hair loss is possible, and I advise you to eat less fast carbohydrates, do sports and monitor your vitamins and hormones, and while androgens are active, try to keep your hair until their effect becomes less@@UnknownUser_10
This is the first I hear about this, so you’re saying that male pattern baldness eventually stabilizes and doesn’t proceed to get worse after a certain age?
@@JRisabeast09 typically it does stabilise. As long as you take care of your hair, and considering there's no other condition that could affect the loss. My maternal grandfather had lost all his hair at the top by 24. He only had hair around his head. And that's how I knew him until the end of his life. Obviously they turned white after an age and seemed to be less. I was afraid that I'd be like him, because he was the only member with baldness and probably I took genes from him. Yet, I'm 35 and haven't got to his extent of loss.
Phenomenal video mate! Looking at hair stuff, this was motivational. I’d want to get a full blood work panel before jumping on finasteride though. Well done on bringing your hair back and staying with it. The salt, oil routine is super interesting.
I’ve always had amazing wavy thick hair and would get compliments all the time. I’ve noticed now (29 yrs old) my hair has lost a lot of density and thickness and my hairline is starting to fall back on the temples. I just ordered fin and monox. I hope I caught it early enough cuz I really don’t want to lose my wavy/ curly hair 😢
I am 26. Feel the same. I have been losing it slowly for the past 2 years but didn't do anything. Tried minoxidil but it was too much of work for me. And it was hard to put it all over scalp so I gave up on minoxidil. Now just started finasteride alone. Hope it works
Fin+min can absolutely reverse hairloss, and especially if your problem is diffuse thinning which is much easier to fix than regrowing a hairline. I'm a NW3 with hardcore thinning, I've been on fin+min for 6 months and I'm starting to see some nice changes already. In the worst case scenario dutasteride and oral min will turn any NW6 to NW2 within 3 years.
Awesome results. I am 18 on treatment and my hair started to thin my freshman year (not as bad as yours though). I've been on finasteride, minoxidil, nizoral, and microneedling for about 6 months now- I've seen improvement on my left side, but my right side has nothing to write home about. I want to try trentonoin because I don't think I'm responding to minoxidil, maybe even dutasteride.
Minoxidil, unfortunately, does not bring great results, it does for a few people but for the most part it doesn't work that well - that's what my dermatologist told me. I have also been using it for over 2 years, and it did nothing. Most of the slowdown in the hair recession came from the finasteride.
@@NeWodDipo If trentinoin and microneedling can reactivate the specific enzyme to make minoxidil effective then I don't see a problem with it. Sure it's annoying to apply, but it makes me feel safer.
@@paxton9299 I agree, I mean I am still using it even if it is responsible for 1% of the slowing down in hair recession, but still it sucks that by itself it is not as effective as we wish it were

Good job. I started losing at like 17. Jumped on Fin on 18. And was on it for 9 years. And been on dutasteride for 4 years now. I'm 31 now and my hair is still there. DHT is the devil. Nuke it before it's to late.
Great video, i also caught myself thinking "ive had this hairline since 16-17, and on the right side" and then you literally said that. That was the moment i was like alright time to do something about it. I've heard alot of post finastride issues so i will be looking to start with keto, minox and needling first.
Finasteride is the first thing you have to do, especially if you're 20+ years old. I did the same mistake (not adding 5AR inhibitors) and minox + needling gave me only decent improvement through last 7 years.
Finn doesn't have any side effects, most common side effects that affect 1 out of 100 people are issues with sex drive and erection. And mind you that's just uncommon side effects. Hope on finn for 1 year and see if anything happens if it does, then hop off. Simple
@@subinj9174I got panic attacks and depression from Finastaride. That said, I have a history with anxiety, so it obviously won’t happen for most people. But to say that there are no side effects is wrong.

I was also 15 when I started experiencing hair fall. It was too frustrating to me at that time because I was too young to experience that nightmare. That continued for almost 3 years and I had lost about 50% of my crown hair. At 18 I went to a dermatologist and he recommended me doing PRP but I didn't do it because it was scary and expensive too. After blood tests I had Vitamin D deficiency. He prescribed me Biotin and Vitamin D tablet. It helped me a lot and it drastically reduced my hair fall. Then at the age of 19 I started topical minoxidil 5% and applied to thinning areas and empty areas . Now a lot of hair is growing back in that crown and in bald area (sides). I am feeling quite well now and I don't really think stopping minoxidil. If you are also in same situation, Start using biotin and from age 18,19 you can start Topical minoxidil. ( not oral)
@jacksongray5920 just turned 22. Norwood 2. Finesteride for over a year and fast recession and now dutesteride and 4 months nothing. I'm not only one. Look on tressless
i AGREE, I was on dutasteride 0.5mg then upped to 2.5mg and stayed at 2mg x3 weekly for 1.5 years. hair kept getting thinner. only lost abit less hair thats it and with bad sexual sides. also tried oral min for 5 months high dose 15-20mg had initial shed first week only then lost very very little hairs yet after 5 months hair was thinner. tried fina after this for a few months hair worse sexual sides worse. tried even topical with oral and then RU. I gave it all up and hair is actually thinning alooooot slower now. big waste of money.
@kalleanka88 dude ain't that crazy? I actually have crazy libido but I feel like all this hormonal unregulation is making things worse bc now I'm overall thinning which I wasn't on finesteride. Might drop it all and go to just topical growth stimulants
I am almost 30 years old and i started facing hair fall from the past 1 year and i have been keeping an eye on my hair line and my overall hair but i couldn't notice any changes yet. I just started taking biotin supplements along with hair serum and hair oil both which have DHT blockers. I am on my best diet possible and have been working out regularly. The ones that worked were Ru fin, min, and microneedling, keto wont do anything about hairloss itself first is way too weak and it dont get to ur folicles just removes ur dandruf though its the best at doing that. This things are things that u gonna need to do for life hence the less is better. Min/fin for me alone totally changed my hair though I started a lil earlier then the average guy. Started balding at 16 and at 21 a noorwood 2 I started treatment. Now i have a really decent hairline, and no one no one believes me that i have hairloss. Im 23 now and I have better hair then I had when i was 19-20. Finasteride is the backbone of hairloss everything else is just an addjunk. Just one pill a day and topical min once every night, cant get simplier then that. Im so grateful for this treatments. And i get 5 mg fin pills cut them in 4 pieces and it costs me that way 1 dollar per month ( Yes that cheap). I take 1.25 mg if fin daily.
@@jayce842 in the pharmacy. Propecia ia the brand name so I go with the generic one which is for prostate 30 pills for 3.7 dollars. But its the same exact drug its just the dosage that differs. Just do a lil bit of reaseach and dont buy the 1mg finasteride pills, those are way more expensive and do the same thing. And do be fooled by people that tell u spiliting finasteride pills is bad. Its not, just keep it away from sunlight and ur good. I cut two pills every 8 days and Im done.
Man thx for this, my situation is literally almost the same as yours, even the part of my mothers´s dad, even though my alopecia didnt kick as hard as yours at around 18/19 i was randomly dropping like A LOT of hair in the shower and everytime i used my hand on it, then i noticed my hairline was compeletely fucked. I had really bad episodes in the bathroom with the excessive shedding and most people have no ideia of how it affects a man´s mental health and how negatively it affected mine at the time. I went to the doctor and started using minoxidil, i wasnt always consistent and but nowadays at 20 yo i never skip a dose. Now even though it has been working out pretty well( my daily shedding has stoppped and most of my hairline grew back) i still shed like A LOT of hair in the shower, and the hair i grow back with minoxidil is very thin and doesent stay on my scalp for too long. I get devastated when i think about all the times the hairdresser used to say i had very thick and strong hair and now i have to go through all this bullshit of using a medicine everyday so i dont turn bald and my hair is so fucking thin now man... I just want anyone to help me so i just stop shedding hair in the shower( i shed very little on daily basis now) and get my hair a little thicker in the process, im thinking about finasteride but all that stuff has costs, minox is already pretty expensive, also considering a derma roller or a derma pen since people say the pen is way better. btw i also take creatine cuz i go to the gym everyday and after studying the subject im also considering abandoning it.
I started loosing a lot of hair in 2020, I had a big surgery that let me in bed for like a month, and right when I was getting better, the pandemic hit, for the next months my hair got so bad, and I was losing so much hair, in 2021 I finally decided to visit a dermatology’s, he said it was most likely due to the surgery so I started minoxidil, almost 2 years later on minoxidil with little to no results, the dermatologist gave me finasteride, it’s been around 6-7 months on finasteride and see no major improvements, I would say my hair-loss stabilized but I hadn’t had no major grow, last week I started micro-needling, I really hope it works.
Can you do a video on the regiment specifically ? Like amount of salt to water ratio, oil ratio, microneedeling frequency and depth and such? Would really appreciate it.
Hey AMGTA, I have found myself in a very similar position hair loss-wise, having lost hair since age 15/16 and still seeing a hairline recession to yours now (age 18). I found the video very helpful and wondered if you could talk through the oil treatment measurements for each oil? Also what brand of derma pen did you choose?

@@cyru2 what’s up bro, I was in a similar position. I’m 18 now and on finasteride. I honestly beg you to start asap. It’s the guaranteed way to stop hair loss and possibly get regrowth for most people. I know it’s hard dealing with it, but you gotta take action. Here’s what I’ll tell u. The natural route isn’t always the right route. I used to think if I get all these hair oils and derma roll, I’d be fine. I wasn’t. Hairline kept receding slowly, and it bugged me so much. Here’s what I advise you to do. Look up haircafe on UA-cam (Kevin Mann). This is the guy that got me on finasteride and made me feel safe with taking it. You have to take action as soon as you can. It’s okay to not know what to do now, but the more you can inform yourself on the actions you can take, you will thank yourself. Don’t listen to the advice of bald people to just “shave it off bro.” You’re young and you’re meant to have hair. If you have any questions about anything, please reply back. Nice video dude. I have been struggling with the slow burn of hair loss since my mid-20s. I'm 38 now and only got into prevention about 3 years ago using Hims topical Fin/Min. I stopped for a short bit because I didn't think it was doing anything and I dunno if it was just a bout of hairline dysmorphia or something but I definitely noticed my stuff started thinning. The right side of my hairline is way more aggressive than the left side. I am considering adding the microneedling pen into my whole routine to see if it nets me any results. I am nowhere near bald, but everyone says prevention is key the second you notice. I just want the look to be the same on both sides. My hair on the right side of my hairline is way higher and way thinning and sparser looking than the left, which is insane. I expected it to balance out over a decade but it never did. Just kept going on one side and nothing on the left aside from the usual maturing. I do have one question though. For the RU, do you use that in place of something or is that in addition to minox and fin? I don't know if I will take that route as I've said my loss is mild, but I really want to see how far I can push this thing back to what I used to have.
when i was a baby the doctors thought i rolled my eyes in the back of my head so they put those suction cup things on my head to do tests and they had a newer nurse and she yanked out the front of my hair which ripped out my hair roots and have never grown hair there since. so basically half of my head is bald and i don't think i can even treat it unfortunately. still have hair and can cover it a bit but once wind blows it def shows my bald spot an it is so embarrassing. at least you were able to grow it back g, not a pitty party just saying it could be worse and your hair looks good man. i hope you have a wonderful day.
mine isn't even a gene or from natural cause it's cause of a dumb b nurse who yanked out a newborns (my) hair roots and my parents were 17 & 18 so they couldn't afford to sue. it's ass
This video is really good! I'll help to reach more people cause this is a public utility! Thank you for sharing the kind of content many people would make you pay for it man!
I have been balding since 13 It runs in my family I always knew I was bald I went to a party yesterday and danced around for an hours before asking a girl out. She said no but it really didn’t affect me. I went to the washroom for a sec and saw that my hair were all sticky due to the sweat and my scalp was showing all around the head. ISTG it was the most humbling experience in my life. The pain I felt when I looked at myself in the mirror. Straight up am depressed now. Rn I am 18 and it feels like I have no confidence left. Its so painful. I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy.
God bro, I hope ur doing okay. If u still have a chance, you need to hop on either finasteride or dutasteride. You can bounce back even in the worst cases. It doesn’t hurt to try. I’m recommending dutasteride since your condition is extremely aggressive. Get in touch with a dermatologist asap. Look up haircafe on yt as well to understand a bit more on this. I hope ur doing okay man. Just keep focusing on what you can control for now. It’s never the end, no matter how tough it feels now. If you still have hair with thinning, you can absolutely make a comeback. Even bald people have made some strides back. Just try it. Take care of yourself brother. ❤
I’ve just started to notice some hair loss. On my right side my hair line is shrinking. I’m scared to death because my dad is bald and my moms dad is bald. This is helping ease the stress. Definitely gonna start doing as much as I can. I’ve always been the guy with nice hair and I’ve been noticing it getting thinner and lighter over the past two years but kind of was in denial too because I’ve always had awesome hair. Now that I can actually see some receding I’m kinda terrified to lose it, I’m 20 years old and I don’t even wanna think about losing it.
Im 28 thinning my hair. Same story as you. My family tree line, two uncles from my moms side have both strong shiny brown hair. They also stay in farmside, out of town in village. MY father lost his hair after 30 I think and still has a sort of thinning on head. I dont think I got it from him, I have tried everything. Stopped Minoxidil (Tried this 3 times for up to 3-6 months at most and finally gave up, as each time I let go of it I would start thinning aggressively more than before) I saw one more video of another UA-camr he also mentioned Micro-needling. I have start needling now its about 4th week. I'm gonna do it in the morning tomorrow. I needle once every week not pushing it I'm on 1.5mm I think its enough pressure already. I apply hair serum after needling and let it rest of for 4-5 hours and wash my head off to let go of any itching so I dont touch my hair too much out of itching sensations. Just 2 days ago on the right side of my widow peak I have noticed little hair follicles popping out they are not even my normal hair length either, they were not there it was shiny flash skin. I showed this to my mom excitingly and she agreed it was not there like I have hairs popping out of my forehead where no hair was there before so I hope it covers my crown and both side of peaks. I dont know if it'll do anything more in long term but this is doing a lot more in just a month then what I did with minoxidil. I use generic shampoo every 2-3 days. I am taking finax 1mg daily with micro needler. I'll go with the shampoo you have suggested you have great hair.
This video resonates with me I’m going to add that natural oil treatment. My hair loss was aggressive too, I take Minox and RU but now I’m also going to be adding a derma roller for my final infinity stone. Good luck to all you men let’s get our hair back and confidence back
You your clip makes me so much hope for my hair back and good health. Thanks a lot, and I hope that you and your hair will get better and better for a life long after this since❤
Damn im 22 with an ATROCIOUS hairline. Middle of the scalp is still doing fine but the M in my hairline is DEEP. Am about to start hopping on treatments and buying products to try to save my hairline. Wish me luck.
this is exactly what ive been looking for, for reference, i am a 14 year old boy, just since last 2 months, my hair is abruptly falling out just when i run my hair through my fingers and brush it forwards it comes falling down with tons of strands, with the proof and documentry uve made with even the natural oils, i believe this to be true even when i havent tried it myself, Thank you brother for this golden oppurtunity.
It’s normal to lose some hairs (sometimes quite a few) every single day and this will vary as each hair follicle goes through its own growth cycle, so don’t confuse that with balding. 14 is very early to be starting to go bald (though 16 isn’t unheard of) but maybe get yourself checked out for health, vitamin deficiency etc. But there’s nothing to be lost (apart from time and effort) if you do feel you need to maximise the health of your hair and scalp at some point and develop some sort of routine. And looking after your overall health is always a worthwhile investment 🙂
I think the best way is 1- go bald check your scalp if you find any infection go to doctor , sometime excess dandruff and product use can cause hairloss and itchy scalp , go bald check if youre loosing hair or not 2-if u are going bald and cant stop just wait for the final stage , stage where u are not loosing hair consult to a doctor and get a hair transplant in the area u lost hairs 3-Just accept it work on your physique Grow your beard , and rock the bald look confidently and accept it Dont take Tension cause of it , its natural , Enjoy your life bros .
Thank you bro I’m also a diffuse thinner and I’m going to start at 1mg of finasteride and topical minoxidil 5% or 2% foam and perhaps tretinoin as well to help the minoxidil work and perhaps also micro needling too and I’m 18 and a half and it’s bad dude luckily my hairline hasn’t moved but the top had lost a lot but I won’t give up see you guys soon 💯💯 we got this don’t accept defeat
As a 20 year old that STILL has acne, drop the skincare routine. I’ve tried everything. Grateful that I’ve always had the thickest set of hair in the world, but my dad is bald so… I will be making sure my hair stays intact lol
Avoid junk and fast/sugary foods. Exercise to sweat toxins out. Get good sleep. Avoid touching face. Clean your bed sheets daily. Use a separate towel for drying your face. Eat a clean diet. Follow a easy skin care routine. Hydrate well. Consistency. Good luck bro
If it can reassure you i Heard the gene that cause balding actually come from the mom side (since it come from the x chromosomes and so from the mother)
1. Where’d you get your pen from? 2. I have skin care routine, but I was told if I use minoxidle while using some of skincare products it might have a negative effect, what do you think I should do? 3. Where’d you get your Finasteride from?
Bro it’s kind of crazy how similar of a story we have. Diffused thinner, dad has great hair, moms dad has great hair. Uncle is bald and that’s where I think I accumulated the gene. Been on finasteride for about 7 months and nothing, maybe even worse than started. Been thinking about getting oral minoxidil along with dutasteride oral. Scared for sure but might have to be done. i have a massive head and can’t afford to be bald 😂
@@WilliamMcPh fin can regrow a lot actually, same as dut. I think that its best to assess in a year using only fin if his balding is not that bad and he is young
It’s been 1.5 years since I noticed my hair loss. I’m 17 currently. Around a 14-16 months ago I started some treatment. However, I was too afraid to use minoxidil much or less anything like finnastride. So pretty much I’ve been off treatment for 16 months. Now, it doesn’t seem like much has changed within my hair. It doesn’t look good but not the worse. I have diffuse thinning as well, and for the longest time I tried to delude myself into avoiding the possibility of it not being androgentic alopecia. It has inadvertently taken over a part of my life, although I am not as obsessed as I was before. The reason I’m coming back to this is because I think my hair line has gotten worse. It used to be very straight. Even whilst I was experiencing diffuse thinning. It doesn’t look the worse, and only looks bad when I specifically pull up the temples area and look from a downwards angle. However, I can tell that it is getting worse. Even if it is a maturing hairline, I don’t want to risk it. I’m going to a dermatologist to confirm what I have to do. I will try to fight back against this if I can. Although, preferable I don’t want to use finnastride but if I have to do it and it’s safe to do so I will do what I must. I’ll update you guys a year from now.
I put a lot of fault in parents who should know what their kids are going to grow into. I never understood how my mom or dad didn't discuss possible hair loss for me when it was the right time. I was about 20 when it snapped to me that my hairline was changed. As you and others did, I played it off as just that my body was maturing and thought I was just developing widow's peak. 2-3 years later it was significantly worse. It wasn't until the age of 25 that I decided to do something about it for myself. I understand that hair treatment wasn't very prevalent for people back in the day, but proper moisturizing, diet, etc would have significantly helped me had my mom or dad made it apparent to me. Should I have kids, especially a son in the future, I'd definitely bring it up to him at around the age of 16 or 18 so that he can take steps to prevent it (or at least be aware of it), should he do so. And if he reaches the age of 23-25 and wants some kind of hair transplant, it would feel like my responsibility to help pay for that much like how many parents pay for their kids first car, school clothes, braces, etc. Ignorance about hairloss in the future should have no excuse. There's way too much information about it and solutions available. Hell, it should even be taught in schools.
Maybe..... I don't think they have the imagination for what we have gone through. When they were 18 people were way, way, way less superficial in the dating game. Every generation deals with the importance of hair and looks, but to the degree that people are today, no way. I went through hell with superficial things and still do to a far lesser degree, but my parents have no frame of reference. I resented them for years, was rather angry about it. So what, now what? The quantum leap, I know this for certain, is to carry and believe in yourself like you are the sexiest most confident person in the world. If you have one ounce of insecurity when you are doing this it will show. But ultimately people will care about what you care about. Here's a pro tip. If you are feeling lame and ugly around really beautiful people, reject them in your head. You don't belong in their superficial prison. They are playing this who's hot who's not game in their heads (women do this all the time, right?). Reject them, they are stupid. Be strong, confident, nothing has the right to rob your future of your happiness and comfort in your own skin.
Im a 16 yearold and suffering from hair loss and whenever i report this to my mother, she always keep repeating it would stop on its own. 2 years have passed her saying everyday it will stop on its own
You speak right but you should know that the bad gene comes from the father of your mother and that not always that's why we see among two brothers only one become bald.
I’ve told my mom and dad that my hair feels thinner and less and I lose a lot of hair during combing and showers and my moms response was: I also get hair fall it’s normal or cut it shorter (I have long hair) and my dads response was , what’s wrong about being bald. At 20? Hell nah 💀 so tomorrow I start work and I’ll go see a dermatologist for my problem and solve it until I don’t get to have bald spots

Hair loss is something I've been facing lately. In my line of work I need to look good! I'd never heard of Finasteride before, I had to Google it, a conversation for my next Doctor's Appointment. I really appreciate this Channel. And my man, congratulations on winning the battle against hair loss! You've made a difference in my life today, thrusted me into a new hopeful direction. Thank you! See you on the next one! 💯
Its original purpose was for prostate enlargement treatment. U need 1mg/day finasteride, u can get a ton of 5mg pills for really cheap and use a pill cutter - they are cheaper than the 1mg pills. I personally started with just 0.25mg/day and had side effects still, and slowly increased to 1mg
Great video mate! Glad you were able to get results!!! Like you, I started losing when I was in my late teens. I still have overall coverage, but it’s quite thinned out… In my 40’s now, and didn’t know to do any of this stuff back in the day. I feel like it’s a bit too late for me now, as I doubt I’ll be able to regrow.
Mate, this is the best video about this topic! Not the same list of products everyone posts on UA-cam, pretty refreshing to be honest! About the micro needling, did/do you use it on all of your head, or just the balding spots? I don't think it's possible to do all of your scalp when you're not shaving any hair off first. Defo going to start using the salt and oil, and get Amonix too.
Your hair looks better than when you were a teenager, great work! I will try the salt and oil applications you spoke about. I have been on 1mg fin, 5% min for two years now. It saved my hair for sure, but I feel like the last 6 months my results have stagnated as I don't think I am a great responder to min. I just recently made my own 5% min + 0.011% Fin compound and have been applying topically recently. I need to be more consistent with my microneedling as it can be painful at 1.5mm.
I Had a slight hair loss on both sides at the front and tried every shampoo and oil you could imagine to which most made it worse to where I was loosing a lot off hair after each shower. I came across a video on UA-cam about how a guy quit using any shampoo and hair products for a year and the before and after photos were insane. Anyway I decided to give it a go, 4 months without any shampoo/conditioner and my hairs has gone crazy long probs longer then yours in this vid, I’ve got baby hair growing back to my original hairline. When I needed to get rid off some natural grease from my hair I just washed it with lemon juice mixed with a little bit off baking soda. I also used derma roller once sometimes twice a week. Not saying this will work with everyone but I will say that Shampoo/Conditioner ruined my hair and since not using any at all it’s gone back to how I was when I was 18…I’m now 28. Edit - I did try shampoo again around 4 months in and as soon as I applied to my hair I could see a ton off hair in my hands.
Word, my man, as much of a headache it is to debate starting, very glad you started at 18, I didn't start till 21, and it was all my choice. Parents said no it's okay, everyone said it's usual, and 8 said nahhh, ima have hair till my 30's, "you want grand kids? Don't doubt me" 😂
I always had a big forehead and I thought I always had my temples exposed too, but the other day I was looking at some old photos and I noticed that my hairline was much better 2-3 years ago. The reason I didn't remember it being like that is because it always had like that mickey mouse shape on my hairline. After noticing this I went to the bathroom and saw that the side of my hair didn't connect well with the top of the forehead and got really scared. It's not that much but I'm turning 17 next month and it's SO EARLY to start balding. To be fair my dad, grandpa and almost all my uncles are either bald or have a receding hairline, so I knew that this moment would have come at some point, but I didn't think it could have been so early in my life. It's really scary and I hope I will be able to afford the treatments. Thank you for making this video, seeing it really made me realize there is a solution
Yes this is the best explanation behind the science of hair recession, really tied everything I knew about hair growth supplementation and nourishment and. I'm not as bad as some of you, but I've been in denial of losing my hair and now both my sides have slightly started arching back, I'm able to hide it with my long thick hair and my hairline's still good for my age (26 currently), but it's not as good as it was in my early twenties. Glad I inherited some of Dad's genes, however, I got a mixture of my dad's and my mom's dad, whose just about completely bald

If it worked for me, it should work for EVERYONE.
which pen brand are you using? thanks for this comment by the way
how many mm are you using for the scalp?
Korabeauticals, theirs needles are currently the thinnest in the market as far as I know

You got lucky in the sense that you had a lot of diffuse thinning all around but not a ton of recessions or dead zones. Considering you caught the hairs while most of them were miniaturized or just recently in dormancy you were able to get great recovery, you were most definitely a hyper responder.
Thanks man!
Once the topical regimen becomes a habit, it's really not hard to keep it up. Consistency is key. It takes a couple minutes. You're already brushing your teeth after waking up or before bed. Rubbing some minox onto your scalp on top is easy. Treat it as a self-care massage 😅

@@computer-r1k no, minox alone wont work.
Its mainly Finasteride, but dont underestimate its side effects and be sure to check it with a doctor.

Happy to hear your good results man, I'm recovering to a point where I'm not wearing a hat at all times any more and I'm fairly happy with my hair. My family is similar to yours thin hair on dads side and my mums dad died with a better hairline than I had at 25.
what’s your hair looking like now?
@ashton1376 slowly getting better, definite improvements to the crown and hairline! It's probably the best it's been in like 5 years
Did you have dead zones? If yes, how much time does it take to grow it back?
@popcorn177 yeah basically smooth crown, can't say how long it was to get results maybe started coming in around 4 to 6 months, but you should start as soon as possible. Not everyone responds the same so your results will vary.
This gives me so much hope. I didn't even know this was possible, thanks man.

Be aware that once you start using these drugs like Minoxidil, finasteride or dutasteride. You have to use it for life long. You cannot stop the treatment orelse even the little hair thats left on your head, everything will fall off within few months.

It’s amazing that this worked for you so well! Unfortunately for me, I had gynecomastia for which I had surgery already and recurrence is a risk I am simply not willing to take. Feeling like you have a female chest is a BEYOND horrifying feeling. Just like hair loss. Sigh.
I used to have gyno and I’ve been taking finasteride for 2 years and my gyno hasn’t come back at all
@xxo5294 how much Finasteride did you took?
@@whatsthat3538 once a day for like a few months then I went down to like 2-3 times a week with minoxidil and microneeedling once every other week.
How long have u had gyno?

@@UnknownUser_10 I'm not an expert, but as far as I am concerned it may change further. 24 is an age that you still have chances to loose more hair.

Do not ever shave your head if you are having hair loss bro i was 17 when i did that shit and my hairs volume decreased moderetly.

Simple
If your scared of finasteride and taking it orally, I would suggest taking it topically since the side effects are less.
@@subinj9174I got panic attacks and depression from Finastaride. That said, I have a history with anxiety, so it obviously won’t happen for most people. But to say that there are no side effects is wrong.

Hows your hair now
I was also 15 when I started experiencing hair fall. It was too frustrating to me at that time because I was too young to experience that nightmare. That continued for almost 3 years and I had lost about 50% of my crown hair.
At 18 I went to a dermatologist and he recommended me doing PRP but I didn't do it because it was scary and expensive too.
After blood tests
I had Vitamin D deficiency.

I was in the literal same situation as you. In denial for 2 years and started treatment at 20 years. Exactly where you are.

You'll be fine, start using finn and minoxidil. Also have a healthy life style too. You can micro needle too twice a week if you want as well
Take the plunge with finasteride. No regrets and 18 years old!! Look up haircafe on UA-cam. You won’t regret it.

It would be very helpful if you write down your full treatment. Thanks for sharing and congrats on your results!
This is absolutely incredible, your results are inspirational brother thank you so much for such an in-depth video ❤
Thanks for giving us all hope bro and also making us feel less alone in the hair loss struggle
Stopped Minoxidil (Tried this 3 times for up to 3-6 months at most and finally gave up, as each time I let go of it I would start thinning aggressively more than before)
I saw one more video of another UA-camr he also mentioned Micro-needling.
Is we can took finasteride tablets with out own selves with out consulting a doctor?
finax? is a finasteride ?
Do you feel any side effects due to finasteride usage? And if you feel, how bad is it?
This video resonates with me I’m going to add that natural oil treatment. My hair loss was aggressive too, I take Minox and RU but now I’m also going to be adding a derma roller for my final infinity stone. Good luck to all you men let’s get our hair back and confidence back
any side effects taking RU? also where do you buy it?
Drop the ELITE skin care routine King!
Hi! Great vid! One question though. Minoxidil is to be continued for the rest of one's life right for as long as you want hair?
Glad you successfully reversed your hair loss man. Looking good.
How did it go
Bro up date please
this is exactly what ive been looking for, for reference, i am a 14 year old boy, just since last 2 months, my hair is abruptly falling out just when i run my hair through my fingers and brush it forwards it comes falling down with tons of strands, with the proof and documentry uve made with even the natural oils, i believe this to be true even when i havent tried it myself, Thank you brother for this golden oppurtunity.
And looking after your overall health is always a worthwhile investment 🙂
please make a step by step routine with all the treatment you mentioned in the video
I think the best way is
1- go bald check your scalp if you find any infection go to doctor , sometime excess dandruff and product use can cause hairloss and itchy scalp , go bald check if youre loosing hair or not
2-if u are going bald and cant stop just wait for the final stage , stage where u are not loosing hair consult to a doctor and get a hair transplant in the area u lost hairs
3-Just accept it work on your physique Grow your beard , and rock the bald look confidently and accept it
Dont take Tension cause of it , its natural , Enjoy your life bros .
1mg finasteride daily. I am on it for 18 years. Same hairline as when I was 18, 41 now.
Wow
Really mate?😳
u never had MPB.
U just take one pill a day
No sexual problems?
Thank you bro I’m also a diffuse thinner and I’m going to start at 1mg of finasteride and topical minoxidil 5% or 2% foam and perhaps tretinoin as well to help the minoxidil work and perhaps also micro needling too and I’m 18 and a half and it’s bad dude luckily my hairline hasn’t moved but the top had lost a lot but I won’t give up see you guys soon 💯💯 we got this don’t accept defeat
One of the best vids i've seen. Very clear and so well explained. Great job dude.
yup im getting on that. shout out to you bro, great video
Lol having hair at 20 is nothing, i had thickest hair at 20 and am losing it at 30. It hits fast
If it can reassure you i Heard the gene that cause balding actually come from the mom side (since it come from the x chromosomes and so from the mother)
Retinoid?
I’m 22 should I stick on fin 1mg oral then add topical minoxidil, and micro needle, and 2% ketoconazole shampoo? Idk what to do man
Fin doesn’t really regrow, it maintains it slows hair loss
@@FrostyFX wait until 1 year, then add the minoxidil
@@WilliamMcPh fin can regrow a lot actually, same as dut. I think that its best to assess in a year using only fin if his balding is not that bad and he is young
@@kitesalet thats in some cases, in general its expected to maintain what you already have.
@@ALEXANjunior It likely comes from my mom's side but my grandfather is 98 and has great hair Dx

I personally started with just 0.25mg/day and had side effects still, and slowly increased to 1mg

takes balls to make a video like this bro. absolutely love the confidence to share ut story at 18 bro. legend
Great video mate! Glad you were able to get results!!!
Like you, I started losing when I was in my late teens. I still have overall coverage, but it’s quite thinned out…
In my 40’s now, and didn’t know to do any of this stuff back in the day. I feel like it’s a bit too late for me now, as I doubt I’ll be able to regrow.
Awesome bro! Congrats on the results. What's your microneedling routine? How often and how deep do you go?
Where to get one ?
Drink grapefruit juice...makes non responsive to responsive to fin..
@@muhammadsaaib7883 how do u know that . Interesting
Hell yes. I just took notes of everything. Thanks man!
Prob the best video I’ve seen on this. Good stuff bro needs more views for sure
How did you washed your hair?
@@shuwohd2343 just water from the shower everyday…if it got too dirty/greasy I used lemon juice with baking soda

Word, my man, as much of a headache it is to debate starting, very glad you started at 18, I didn't start till 21, and it was all my choice. Parents said no it's okay, everyone said it's usual, and 8 said nahhh, ima have hair till my 30's, "you want grand kids? Don't doubt me" 😂
Thank you so much for the motivation man, you did it and we can do it too!!!
Nice video! Mate where do you get the minoxidil and finasteride from here in Australia?
Thanks for sharing dude. Good message going into August (hairloss awareness month)
