  • I had to change the lower control arm including the ball joint on a 2016 Nissan versa because the control arm bushing was bad and made a clunking noise when the brakes were applied.

This was a super awesome and helpful video. That forward bolt was kicking my butt. Phew ! I had the idea of turning it upside down. But the one part where you prayed on the lip was pure gold . I sat for 3 hours thinking the part was defective. Pryed on the lip took me and my brother 15 minutes. Lol I want that pry bar 😂Thanks so much for making this video you saved me. All I could do was laugh at myself. That is the hardest part of the job. Thanks so so much . Video was perfect!

Very clear and understandable. Shall I tackle it? Must have the tools you mentioned first. Thanks so much.

Guess I should check the bushings on mine. I don't hear clunks when I hit the brakes but when its wet outside and I have the traction control enabled, any slip from a take off causes the car to clunk jerk. I've never experienced that with any other traction control system on other vehicles I've driven. Usually it traction control will just limit power to the wheels. My Versa is a manual transmission though so it might have a different effect due to that. I haven't gotten an opportunity to test it without traction control enabled on wet roads, its been hotter than hell here in north Texas and no rain.

Not sure if you will see this, but my wife has this same problem on the same vehicle. Where did you order the parts from ? My brother in law is a mechanic but doesn’t speak English so I want him to do it but need to help him find the part. I live in the same area of Texas as you guessing by 737 area code if that matters. Thank you for your help and informational video.

I bet if you lease a small shop with lift, it would easily pay for itself as you would be extremely BUSY as you do quality work!

The only reason I do this is to help people save money by not being ripped off by dishonest shops. I really want to slow down on doing this kind of work.

@@737mechanic totally understand, but, you are very good at it, patient, and a great teacher, too! Love your videos! Also, I have bought several tools you recommended and also made me a great trans fluid pump with the pump sprayer you showed with aluminum spout. Works great
