It’s called ageing folks, the pitch of the voice drops as you grow older, partly caused by gravity altering the vocal tract with age as the larynx drops. We all get a thicker and lower pitch as we age.. 😊 so this doesn’t make the old Bon Jovi a bad singer, he is actually amazing to still try to hold the notes and be brave to perform to these type of audiences at this age. The song is performed at a lower key so helps him sing, but still high for most people..
@Maddy Grayson Th e process of voice aging is not same for everyone. In his case unfortunately he lost if. An improper use over the years is often the cause. Years of touring took their toll on him.

I have to admit, Richie or whoever was singing along with him carried the performance. Still, though, I wouldn't dare hate on the legendary man who's been performing this banger for years.
@suehaynie5054 Yeah, I don't know about that, but I really don't like all the hate they're getting. After performing this and living on a prayer god knows how many times, it's normal to lose your voice. I actually respect the fact he's actually still singing and not just playing a playback because that's what most singers do.

Every member of Bon Jovi, past and present was magical, that rarely happens.
I'm happy that they let Alec come back.

Hello! Soy de Uruguay! Saludos
Not a big bon jovi fan, but damn, this is quite a great performance. His voice is still good
His voice is not good lol Richie makes him sound better. listen to bad medicine live recently
@@bigtommy9715 sometimes a good vocalist like John and a good lead guitar player like Richie do look wonders for the team.keep it up guys!!!!!
no his voice is shot for sure
jeff e sounds pretty good at 2:40
Most people at this age are fat and half dead. Jon and the band are looking and sounding really good all things considered.
Wow, he's aged very well, can't been said the same of a lot of singers from 2000's. His voice aged of course, but in a great way, still sounds awesome.
"His voice aged of course, but in a great way, still sounds awesome."
All due respect to Jon but....you're clearly wearing rose colored glasses (or hearing aids..lol) if you think his voice has "aged in a great way"...
Nothing personal man....just pump the brakes a little on that comment...lol
I will say… Let’s give him a crown!!! He’s the master and the king of the Rock!.
For me, he’s THE BIGGEST STAR!!!.
3:19 that took everything he had and 40 years of band's history were put into that one.
poor guy.
Pitch correction
For those who don’t know, Jon Bon Jovi can’t sing very well now a days, so when you get weirded out by him singing, remember this is not 1986, because back then he can sing good (He can still sing good today, but back in the day he was a rockstar)
True .
Zu fuckin very true and real!!!
Grumpy Yeti before he was a rockstar, but now he's somewhat running for Congressman of New Jersey
Mike Rivers Good because I’m from NJ
@@captainobvious8802 but was he really running 4 public office coz that's what they telling man and he's somewhat close to the Democrats before and i dk now
It does a BON JOVI fan good to see Richie back with his Jersey Bros once again, even if for one night.
He's aged better than most of us......still good to go after all these years.....remember he helped shaped the.music scene in the eighties...💜💙💛
Living legend.. True Man and most admired American for his contribution to society as well..
This song always reminds me of Jersey. When you’re driving up home late at night and you start seeing the yellow lights of all the chemical plants near Elizabeth and Q104.3 puts something like this on. That’s the vibes bro
Jon must have truly enjoyed having his right-hand man back at least for one night. Richie sounds great here!
This song saved me for the depression...I was so sick
Im happy you found a band that helped you :) not everyone does :(
형님 멋지네요 👍🏼
Great performance and these hall of fame shows are great (at least when the world was normal). Sambora is a beast keeping the awesome guitar moving and holding down the high note melody as usual.
Phil X is hitting the high notes.
3:20 For how damaged his vocal range is currently that was one of his best attempts yet 100%
Love how he goes all "Still got it bitches" right after doing it..
I really wish that the entire band came as one and made the best music in the world
彼等は日本でとても愛されてる最高峰のバンドです。
世界中が彼等を愛して止まない。そして私も愛して止まない一人です。カッコ良過ぎる‼️。
They are a top band that is loved by many in Japan.
The whole world loves them. And I am one of those who love them too. They are so cool!
2021... Still listening to this song. And still in love like the first one I hear these band in the 90's, now I have two kids.
Nice to see Richie Sambora in there.
These is the real legend. 😎😎😎
bon jovi a legend , no matter what happening to his voice , he will always be that hairy rock crazy but nice and humble , love always bon jovi ,
I love bon jovi his my idol during my childhood. Good image and humble guy. Keep the Faith.
I have to admit, Richie or whoever was singing along with him carried the performance. Still, though, I wouldn't dare hate on the legendary man who's been performing this banger for years.
Samaro sucks
@suehaynie5054 Yeah, I don't know about that, but I really don't like all the hate they're getting. After performing this and living on a prayer god knows how many times, it's normal to lose your voice. I actually respect the fact he's actually still singing and not just playing a playback because that's what most singers do.
