  • Il Duca Bianco, ora starà facendo un bel concerto con :" Freddie Mercury, Katy Lee, John Lennon, George Harrison, Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Jim Morison, Janis Joplin, Claude Nobs, louis Armstrong, Johny Cash, Kurt Cobain, Edith Piaf, Jerry Garcia, Michael Jackson, Micharl Rose, Amy Winehouse, Whitney Houston, Natalie Cole, Mango, Pino Daniele, Demis Roussos, Maurizio Arcieri, B.B.King, Elvis Presley, Michel Antoine Petrucciani. Dirige l'Orchestra il Maestro Pierre Boulez. ... STANDING OVATION! #freddiemercury #video #davidbowie #music #live #underpressure
Under Pressure è nata così».

I had the good fortune of meeting David twice but sadly no meet with Freddie, and for those that say never meet your idol as it could turn bad from your point of view, don’t believe it Bowie was so much more than I could of dreamt of in fact the first time was that David and co star were making a swift exit from the world premiere of Just a Gigolo in London and I was outside smoking and I didn’t know they had left until a limo pulled up next to me and window opened and Bowie leaned out and said can I get a light mate! OMG I was in shock so much so that I told him to keep the lighter! 😂 He said thanks and asked was I leaving early and I said no just have a smoke break to which he said do yourself a favour and leave now only it really is crap!!🤣 He was actually quoted on being interviewed about the movie as saying “Let’s just say it was all of my Elvis movies rolled in to one” He was probably right!

    Pressure pushing down on me
Pressing down on you no man ask for
    Under pressure
    That burns a building down
    Splits a family in two
    Puts people on streets
    It's the terror of knowing
    What this world is about
    Watching some good friends
    Screaming get me out
    Tomorrow takes me higher
    Pressure on people
    People on streets
    Day day day
    Okay
    Chippin' around
Kick my brains round the floor
    These are the days
It never rains but it pours
    People on streets
    People on streets
    It's the terror of knowing
    What this world is about
    Watching some good friends
    Screaming let me out
Tomorrow takes me high, high, higher
    Pressure on people
    People on streets
    Turned away from it all
    Like the blind man
Sat on a fence but it don't work
    Keep coming up with love
But it's so slashed and torn
    Why why why?
    Love, love, love, love
Insanity laughs under pressure we're cracking
Can't we give ourselves one more chance?
Why can't we give love that one more chance?
Why can't we give love give love give love?
Give love, give love, give love
Give love, give love, give love?
'Cause love's such an old fashioned word
And love dares you to care
For the people on the edge of the night
And love dares you to change our way
    Of caring about ourselves
    This is our last dance
    This is our last dance
    This is ourselves
    Under pressure

Very true... todays "musicians"... Have absolutely NO talent and could never draw in crowds like real musicians... The list is long but they will all be missed.🙏

Sadly, they never played this song together live on stage. This video simply has great editing from different performances to give it the appearance.

This is one of my favorite songs. I saw Bowie when he toured in the 00's and he talked about his friendship with Freddie and the loss he felt at his death. He had one of his back-up singers sing Freddie's part of the song and both said that they hoped they would do Freddie's song justice. They did an amazing job and it was really beautiful that they talked about Freddie and I'm crying again now. I just wanted to share that because everyone, from a lowly secretary to the Thin White Duke, loved Freddie.

It was a crying shame when we lost Freddy. A crying shame. The film, Queen is on Netflix and even though I saw it on the big screen, it pulls you back in. Such a melancholy tale.

Thanks for sharing your experience! 45 years old but I did not have the chance to see them in concert. In summer 2021, Freddie still the best singer all over the world. Greetings from Belgium.
