love wolfquest. love raising pups. hate how excruciatingly tedious claiming territory in that first year. i just put on a long video and try and get it over with.
Changing the game to spring when you have 15 hexes but don’t choose a den because it allows faster movement, since there’s no deep snow. Also, 20 hexes is easy to claim, and very useful
This was very helpful. I recently got a new gaming laptop, and just started playing WolfQuest 3! I'm at the part where I have to interact with my pups. It's really exciting! Thanks so much for this video! :D
One thing: No den type (open/wooded) makes more or less cougars/eagles/bears etc come. They only make it harder or easier for you to fend them off. I've played several (10+) games from start to finish since the pups came out and I've never had more or less of any type of predator with either of the den types. Otherwise a very good informational video! This will help many new wolf parents (:
@ZebraSmiley im 9 months late, but in my older playthroughs, I’ve never had an eagle attack in a wooded den I did, however, have like 7 or less cougar attacks in open dens and 1 bear attack in my newer playthroughs.
@@kardycardicarrest I find that eagle attacks are quite rare generally so maybe that would play a part in giving you those numbers..? Or maybe the whole thing is more dependent on which difficulty you're playing on? I only play accurate so if difficulty's a factor that could be why I think the way I think. I haven't played easy or challenging in a while but when I last did I don't think I noticed more eagles by open dens or more ground predators in wooded dens, but that could just be me not thinking about it. I would have to document encounters quite thoroughly if I want to get close to an answer. Until the day that I or someone else feels like doing that (or maybe just asking the devs honestly) my perception still is that the open/wooded dens don't really change how many of a certain predator type attack your den, just how easy or hard it is to fend them off.
It does get quite boring, but I’m glad they added a feature to reuse our old territory to raise our pups and den. It’s a life saver! And you can just remark it again

This, my friends, is another reason (apart from not having enough space for ae) for why I play 2.7.
Sameee, I’ll watch WQ while claiming territory

wooded doesnt allow eagles to hunt ur pups but open doesnt allow cougars to hunt hte pups
@@kkvdz1 You're wrong, it just makes it easier to chase them away. Sorry but if that's your impression you haven't played the game enough /:

it is very well explained thank you
I hate marking territory it’s the worst part in the game
Yea it takes too long. But its worth it when you get puppies!
