- Video description: We asked eight AAO 2017 attendees to share a moment when they thought to themselves, “Now, that’s why I became an ophthalmologist.” Here’s what they said.
Lovely one Dad! Proud of you and what you do.
Thank you for posting this! It was very inspiring!
Once we were operating on a patient , after doing his cataract surgery he said after 10 years I can see my wife again !!!!
Love the stories! Great post!
Thank you guys for inspiring me!
Wonderful motivating video
Very inspiring
I would love to go into Ophthalmology !
I'll back when I become an Ophtalmologist ❤
A great professional.
I had an Optometrist help me go from 20/50, to objective naked eye 20/20, in one year.
He had me make my own refractive measurements myself, to be truly objective, in this science.
Great
BGK Ajayi is 70 years old this year. Good man!
Anne Francis Elizabeth he seems so nice!
He must be a wonderful Nigerian
15 years from now..... I'll come back for this comment with that M.D. title as an Ophthalmologist.
#claiming #it
15 years? So you’re a sophomore in high school? Ophthalmology takes 12 years after high school
@@Rhinoiron I'm a graduating Optometry student (O.D.). im planning to take up Med & Specialize Ophthal tho:) wish me luck:))
EUNICE PADOC Good luck! I’m a premed student right now. It’ll be 11 more years for me.

Just today surgical spirit spilled in my left eye and I had a very horrible pain😭

I'd love to be an ophthalmologist, but I'll go for optometry cuz it skips so many years of extra education.
Why might someone see a red line down the middle of a crescent moon? My retinal nerves are normal but slightly larger than the norm.
Hello doctor, I have a Qs for you,
Are Nepafenac drops (NSAID) helpful in treating a corneal abrasion??
I had a corneal abrasion and have been using Nepafenac drops for about 2 months now.
Andrew Thiyam never use nsaid in cases of abrasions over cornea. Stop asap and consult ur ophthalmologist right away. U may need antibiotics , lubrication .
Hello Akshay, I already used it for about a month after the abrasion. Can you please tell me how bad my cornea will now be?
Andrew Thiyam i cant say but nsaids delay healing. So better to stop asap. Actually by now u would have had some symptoms, if no symptoms like blurry vision, pain or redness.. then either u never had an abrasion or u hv been lucky enough to escape. Show ur doctor
Yes I have stopped. Are you an opthalmologist or an optometrist?
I''m not going back to the same doctor again.
Actually, I'm facing some side effects now.
I need to tell you exactly what happened.
Please whatsapp me, it's important.. +91 8131028191
Andrew Thiyam i m an ophthalmologist but i would suggest u show some other doctor in person and not consult via phone. Take care
Do you guys not have any DO Ophthalmologists ?
Ophtha or nothing 💕👁
Nice
Why do you guys never include D.O ophthalmologists?
