restrained without seeming austere...minimalist, but still vibrant. I reckon you nailed this one, Isaac. I love the way you just let the simple story tell itself, yet still crafted it to show us a lifetime in just over 8 min. It took a lot of maturity and acting presence to pull this one off, no matter your directorial skills - and, as ever, Christine made her part look effortless in all the best ways. Take a bow, both of you xx
This was phenomenal. I never saw that ending coming, but it was fantastic. The atmosphere you created with the lighting, the color grading, and the shot selection was amazing and perfectly set the tone. Killer ukulele skills, too - very clever using your playing as the background instrumental at 2:27! Amazing job as always! You clearly know what you're doing!
As they say “ it’s better to be alone than in bad company However sometimes a company cannot be that bad… This not horror but a new lindo lyrical storytelling … wowwww Offtopic: 2:47 do not get me wrong but you’re in really good shape
GOOSEBUMPS AND SLOW CLAP. I've been binging on horror short films on here for a while now, but this one's fresh. It has the Kiyoshi Kurosawa elements intact. Thank you for this treat. I love this so much!
This is so Beautiful, oh my god. You can interpret this in different ways, my interpretations are she is a ghost who can't move on (would explain her appearing out of nowhere to him) and was romantically lonely so she puts on his ring, or a lady so Emotionally Wrecked in life that she went crazy trying to find someone, and in the end he said "either way i'll be there for you." Brilliant, Macarbe, Captivating. Take my like!!
The woman came across as creepy but was grieving immensely and out of sorts. The guy himself had lost his partner aswell. Both of their loved ones were no longer around and taking his ring was a comfort to her. After being creeped out and while getting away and about to take off in his car, he realised all she'd done the first time while shaking hands was hold his hand a little longer than is deemed normal and the second time when in bed she caressed his hand lovingly...nothing harmful. She was crying when he re-entered the apartment. They were comforting one another in their grief at the end. That's my take on it. What I'm not 100% on is if she was the one who'd died and was stuck in the apartment or not. She had lost her loved one and was grieving either way. Just like him.
@@nelliesilvers1210 It makes more sense that she's a ghost , otherwise how else is she appearing in his apartment randomly & disappearing, especially in the bedroom . Does he not lock his door??.
Wow! This short is much deeper than horror, it is about grieving and compassion!!! Love love love it.❤❤❤

Wow! Eerie, creepy, but shows human loneliness, grief, and compassion. An unexpected ending. Very impressive.

What can I say that hasn't been put better by previous commenters. This was incredible. You've got talent!
This story touching the soul of people - very impressive with an unexpected finish. You´re a man, man, you´re a man!
Did not see that coming. That was actually sweet.
You drew a tear from my eye. 🥲🥲🥲
Beautiful! I love how you’re playing with light and shadows.

She's obviously going to kill him, so they can be "together forever".

@@nelliesilvers1210 I would love to know that she “died and got stuck”. It would be even more beautiful and melancholy than it already was now.
This movie is about men having a hard(er) time to commit themselves into relationships.
Isaac is daddy
Wow. Excellent. Bravo.
